I came here with a friend for breakfast. She got the avocado toast, I got the multigrain pancakes with eggs. The service was fast. Yadiri S was our server, she was great. Super helpful, quick and made adjustments to the order when needed. Give her a raise, she's a great server! The atmosphere is a bit loud, but it's a large restaurant so it's to be expected. A very bad experience with a lazy waiter named Sebastian. My son and I was seated first and waited patiently for the waiter to take our order. A couple next to ours was seated 10 minutes later and we still get service. The couple's waitress came, took their order, got their order, served, they finished eating, paid and left. I ordered a traditional breakfast platter, including fried eggs, bacon, ham, sausages and hash browns. Everything was fried just right, especially the bacon was crispy but not dry, and the sausages were very juicy. The fried eggs were sunny side up, and the yolk was tender and smooth, which made people's appetites whet. In addition to the main course, we also ordered classic original pancakes and blueberry pancakes. The original pancakes were served with a ball of cream, which was soft and sweet; the blueberry pancakes were even more amazing, with sweet and sour jam and dense fresh cream, and every bite was as happy as eating dessert! The service was also very good, the waiter was friendly and the food was served quickly. The dining environment was clean and comfortable, suitable for slowly enjoying a hearty breakfast in the morning. If you also like classic American breakfast, this IHOP is a good choice! I rarely leave 1-star reviews, but this experience was frustrating from start to finish over something that should be incredibly simple: an omelette and toast. I ordered a veggie omelette with regular eggs (not egg whites). What came out was not an omelette -- it looked like two eggs cracked directly onto the griddle, barely mixed, with visible egg whites and partially runny yolks, then folded over and served. That's not an omelette by any standard. When I politely pointed out that the eggs were not scrambled or whisked together, the server insisted they were, despite us both being able to clearly see the separated whites and yolks. Instead of simply acknowledging the mistake, he doubled down and even told me it would "taste better this way," adding that he prefers it because the other eggs are mixed with pancake batter. That explanation was unnecessary and unprofessional -- guest preference should come first. He did offer to remake it, but I hate wasting food (I work in the food industry myself), so I chose to eat it and just asked for my wheat toast. A manager later approached me without identifying himself at first, and by then I had already decided to move on. The toast eventually arrived -- without butter, which required yet another request. Individually these might seem minor, but together they showed a complete lack of care and attention to detail. I would have gladly waited twice as long for the omelette to be made correctly. Serving something this sloppy and then arguing with the guest about it is unacceptable, especially at a breakfast chain. Very disappointing experience. read more

Sandra has been such an experience. She has been very attentive and the ambiance that I had received was very welcoming made me smile the minute we sat down to order our food. The food was very delicious, my favorite is the French toast with strawberry banana. She made sure we knew about the rewards loyalty and guided us through the whole way !!!! We ate it anyway because turning it back would be such a hassle, it ruined our breakfast out. And the prices...OMG! Fifteen dollars for a Belgian waffle! $4.29 for each coffee? Pure avarice. Just charge for the pot. 50 bucks for a cold breakfast for two. I partially blame it on California laws that force employers to pay $20.00 minimum for waiters. So what do business do? I bought food at this place on March 30, 2024. It was the most disgusting experience at IHOP. Simply put, the food was absolutely terrible. It was so bad that the soup I ordered came in dirty, leaking packaging (I ordered the food to go). Naturally, I refused it and asked for my money back. Also, the waiter who argued with me tried to convince me that this was normal, lol. I filed a complaint on the company's website. They responded quickly, which pleased me. I thought the issue would be resolved quickly and without additional stress. The manager ran to return my money as soon as possible. But here's the problem: today is already April 18, and MY MONEY HAS STILL NOT BEEN RETURNED. I've probably called about 7-8 times. Every time, the manager tells me that she will resolve the issue with the office and promises to call back. As you may have guessed, she doesn't do this. Today she gave me the supervisor's number. And of course, this supervisor does not answer phone calls. They probably think people are fools! They promise to return the money immediately, but they don't do it and hope that people will just forget about this money. Let the supervisor or the director of this restaurant (if it can be called that) pay attention and contact me immediately! read more

There must be something going on at night/late hours here.. because I was dragged here against my will in the day for breakfast/brunch, knowing how my previous visits at night/late have been among the most horrible I've ever experienced in a restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised. We were greeted with a friendly smile, tended to right away, and seated within seconds. Or waitress, Laura, was super friendly, attentive and refilled our drinks without us ever having to ask. The food was served accurately to our orders, fresh, and tasted great.
