    BBQ Chicken Sandwich
    Rebekah M.

Decided to write a review because the BBQ chicken sandwich has always been one of my favorite sandwiches in LA. there's not a location near me, but I will drive out of my way to come get this. They did give me one today that was a little burnt, but I asked them to remake it, and they gladly did. The side sales are also always great

This place went downhill. Such sad portions now. Barely any chicken anymore and the salad itself is a lot smaller than it used to be. This place has lost a loyal customer of over 5 years so sad

Just meat and cheese. Where is the rest of it?!?!

I just ordered from here on DoorDash and received the most pathetic sandwich of my life. I got a build your own sandwich and there were no toppings inside at all. Just meat and cheese??? There should be at least lettuce and tomato, and my drink was not included either. The price I'm paying for nearly everything to be neglected or forgotten is ridiculous. I will never order from this stone oven again, I'm so disappointed.

Spicy sandwich ! I added tomatoes lettuce and onion

Gourmet sandwich I think yes . Best food in the food court . They need more advertising I been going there for 3 years and just now noticed this deliciousness

SUPER HARD Bread, dry chicken and pasta

OK soooo....I was excited to see this location open since the Ontario location closed after Covid. 1st-they were NOT busy when I arrived, but didn't answer 2 phone calls to place a phone order...2nd-the sandwiches (BBQ Chicken & Chicken & Basil thingy) were DRYYYYY, both not enough sauces and old, dry, paper-like chicken. 3rd-the pasta was dry as well. 4th-the lettuce was literally dirty. *EASILY the most disappointing part of all is #5-the bread was burnt AND oily!!! What on EARTH HAPPENED to this place? I want my time & money back. I should have gone to Pietro's in Pasadena as planned.

    Garlic and Basil Chicken Sandwich

This place makes their bread fresh and it is so good! The garlic and basil chicken sandwich was tasty and light but also filling. Watermelon lemonade was good too! Got a side of salt and pepper kettle chips. Great customer service too. When asked for no cheese they offered to make a bread fresh since it usually has cheese baked into it. That took about 12 minutes. That was really nice of Salvador, thank you for going above and beyond to make our sandwich great!

Asian Chicken Salad (awesome) don't be fooled by the picture, the salads are pretty large!

I love their salads and strawberry lemonade. All of their salads come with focaccia bread that is SO soft and their portion sizes are giving. This place is always busy, but my orders come out fairly quickly. I've never had any problems and have always been helped by kind people. I recommend the ASIAN CHICKEN SALAD, so good. Great stop for lunch if you're at the mall!

Here I am with another edition of "Mall Rat Eatz" lol look at me pretending to be a food blogger haha. Anyways I've been to Stone Oven before and I enjoyed it cuz the Asian salad was good and so I decided to come back and try their Mediterranean Chicken Salad. I got Mediterranean and a side pasta salad which really looked appealing to the eye at least for me because I'm a sucker for bow tie pastas haha. The salad consisted of mixed greens, grilled chicken, Roma tomatoes, cucumbers, Kalmata olives, Spicy pita chips & feta cheese dressing. First off let me tell you I'm a fan of Mediterranean food when I saw this Mediterranean style salad I had to go for it. I mixed the dressing which had a great vinegar taste to it. Flavorful and strong and it mixed well with the salad. The spicy pita chips which looked like French fries lol was actually good. It added a nice crunch to the salad like croutons but pita chips. I will say it could use a bit more spice because I could not taste anything. Maybe because I love spicy food and couldn't taste it but it was lacking in the spicy department. The chicken was delicious! It was a cut up chicken breast which actually surprised me cuz it was pretty juicy for it and as you foodies know chicken breast usually are dry most of the time but this was juicy so it was delightful. The star of the salad show were the kalmata olives! It was so good! I'm not supposed to eat it cuz it's hella salty but I couldn't say no and it was a part of my salad haha. I will say this though I thought they were pitted whole and i bit into it and they still had the seeds. my left teeth are crying lol. I had the pasta next and man it did not disappoint! For the amount you got it was more than a side in my opinion it could of been a small meal on its own which tells me that this was a good deal for what it cost which was less than five dollars! The flavor of the pasta was great! I liked the fact that there was enough sauce to make it just under creamy. Not too saucy but not too dry at the same time it was just right! I enjoyed the bits and pieces of I think they were dried Roma tomatoes or some type of dried tomato. The service was good they ladies up front were helpful and of course the ambiance is what you usually get at a food court in the mall. Loud, good smelling food and a lot of happy eaters or at least I would hope they are! Overall my experience was good 4/5 stars to me! Just the only thing I wish is that the spicy pita chips were a bit spicier and that the olives were pitted I think I chipped a something jk hopefully not though But yeah I'll be coming back here for sure!

Dessert Worth the Walk... But Probably Not a Religious Experience…read more This spot is the perfect "we still have room for dessert" move after dinner nearby. The cakes are genuinely tasty, the slices are massive, and at $10-15 a slice, you'll definitely want to split unless you're emotionally recovering from something. The place gets busy because it's tucked into a restaurant/bar setup, so during peak dessert hours it turns into organized frosting chaos. Thankfully, the service stays friendly and professional even when everyone in the room suddenly decides they need sugar immediately. Ambiance-wise, it's a bustling little dessert shop with good energy, especially at night. My preferred move? Grab the cakes to-go and enjoy them at home like the sophisticated goblin I am. Best part is the location, tons of great dinner spots nearby, making this an ideal sweet finish to the evening. Will it fundamentally alter your existence? No. Will you happily come back for oversized cake slices and a casual sugar victory lap? Absolutely.

The huevos rancheros were such a pleasant surprise , lighter than the usual version but still packed with flavor. The avocado toast was a standout too. Mr. declared it the best avocado toast he's had, mostly because of the amazing chili oil flavor added on top. Finished with the almond and pear cake -- slightly dense for my liking, but still good. Mr. loved it, while I'd give it a solid 4/5. We will surely be coming back to try more from the menu!

I'm not crazy about the birria and one of the chicken dishes for the quality of cuts (too fatty), but everything else is good. Staff has always been nice over the phone as well. My dissatisfaction lies with the new system they have for subscription delivery being fulfilled by Uber. Despite my order saying it was placed and confirmed, Uber cancelled it and claimed it was already fulfilled 5 days ago. I ended up just asking for a refund, but I feel like it has to be the fault of Uber. Whatever is going on, Everytable should fix it. The new website interface also sucks now. It's disappointing because I have a lot of points from being a loyal customer.

We both ordered the traditional breakfast plates and it definitely did not disappoint. It was a pretty large breakfast with bacon, eggs, potatoes, a croissant and two crepes with your choice of hot sauces around the table. We ate so much and still had so much to bring home. This did us good for two meals and I loved the incorporation of the crepes, which I feel like you normally don't get on a traditional breakfast plates. The potatoes were crispy and crunchy on the outside but a very nice soft potatoey texture on the inside and of course the bacon was exactly how bacon should be when you order it. Wished I ordered orange juice or another coffee drink instead because the chai latte was just a bit too sweet for my liking, but I still drank the whole thing. There was a water dispenser provided with to go boxes self serve which I really appreciated. Loved the atmosphere as well and the bathroom was very clean. I would definitely come here again and would recommend :-)

Dark meat chicken kabob, best in LA!…read more I've been to over 50 kabob places around LA, lived near Glendale for a decade, tried all the famous sit down establisments to the not so famous hole in the wall joints but this to me is the best chicken kabob I've ever had in LA, or ever actually. First of all, the fact that you can choose dark meat is unique and appreciated. Secondly their rice is alway so well done, perfection. Third, their sides are incredible, creamy hummus, a bright and vibrant Shiraz salad and their garlic toum texture is almost like mashed potatoes puree, with right amount of garlic tang without being overpowering. The chicken kabob itself was so well marinated and tender it melts in your mouth and elevates this often overlooked protein into something so memorable. It's a perfect meal and their consistency is appreciated. I judge every Mediteranean restaurant that offers kabobs on their chicken kabob to see how well it is marinated, prepared and cooked, and Sidewalk Grills chicken kabob can't be beat imo, try it and I'm betting you will agree. Please go and support this establishment which stands out even amongst the vast sea of amazing Persian/Mediterranean restaurants we re so lucky to have here in the greater LA region!

The biggest issue for me is the salads. The greens taste very low quality, with huge rough leaves that feel cheap and almost pre-made, like they just grill the protein and throw it on top. Their Mediterranean salad used to be my favorite, and there were times I ordered it almost every day, but the quality got bad enough that I stopped. I still like their chicken rice plate, and I usually get it with a Greek salad and hummus on the side, so I do still come back once in a while. But now it feels more like fast food than the fresh Mediterranean spot it used to be. Ambiance-wise, it's nice to sit outside on a sunny day, but there's really no vibe here--it feels like a quick in-and-out spot where people eat fast and leave. The outdoor seating is a plus, but there's no real customer service to speak of. I'm being generous with 3 stars.

Sometimes the food is a bit salty, but otherwise full of healthy options (10 + kinds of salad and veggie dishes) with decedent choices, too (extra cheesy lasagna). It's a self service restaurant, but also expensive. You set your own table and pour your own water glasses. Dinner for two with beverages is easily $85 or more with tip. There are no refills on drinks like iced tea. The upside of it being self service, is you can hang out as long and chat as long as you like. There is good chance if you do linger that you might order desert or a second small $10 iced tea (with tax and tip). It would be quite easy to spend well over $100 for 2, without table service... If it were a little less expensive, I would be a regular... but if it were less expensive then it would be hard to find a table because that whole neighborhood would be hanging out here.
