This has been the worst experience and service that I have experienced at a resturant in a long time. When we arrived there was 3 other groups seated, a young lady waiting for food being picked up and another young man that arrived at the same time. We were seated and 5 minutes passed before the person that seated us got our drink order. Then another 15 minutes pass before the same person got our order. It seem like only 2 waiters in the whole restaurant and only 1 cook because all the orders were coming out so slow and everybody was waiting a very long time to get their food. There was a young girl that worked there that was sitting chatting with friends that seems like they came by to visit instead of helping get patrons served in a timely manner. I will never return to this resturant again. Use to be our late-night option with the kids for food but not anymore. read more

My boyfriend says that this IHOP is the best. Actually, after many returns, I am able to tell why they are always so busy, even at midnight. The service here is wonderful. The servers are nice, not too attentive, but it's reasonable. Side jobs are usually the case. No matter what, I make sure I leave with a happy tummy and a to-go of one of my favorite drinks, mango iced tea. Since I am trying to adjust to a healthy diet, I tend to get the same thing every time and it always works for me. I get the Crispy Chicken Salad, but with grilled chicken instead. You can have your choice of dressing, but for me, the salad works without it. It also comes with a toast, but I am not too fond of it. I know this is bad, since I am trying to watch my weight, but I just love how they sprinkle lots of cheese. I just can't say no to cheese! This is my second favorite salad after La Madeline's! Hmm, there was an ant on the table. This guy was intruding on our date, but no worries. We didn't make the situation big of a deal, but I thought it would be nice to pick out every little detail. I placed an online order @ 10:14am, I was told it would take 10 to 15 minutes to prepare. I arrived @ the restaurant @ around 10:40am to assure my food was prepared. When I arrived I was approached by a waiter named Lexi. She told me she would go check on my order in the back. Quite possible the worst restaurant experience I've ever had in New Orleans. Dirty tables in the restaurant, staff that is so busy talking with each other they can't pay attention to guests, a manager that is playing with the staff and has no clue what is going on with tables. There seems to be no 'section' for waitstaff so they just go about picking up tables so you never know where your server is when something is needed. IHOP on Manhattan was about what I expected when I visited for the first time this past weekend. I ordered the Country Fried Steak with eggs over medium, hash browns and pancakes. Of course the pancakes were good. The country fried steak, while tasty, was a bit bland. The eggs were over easy, which while not a huge problem (just not my preference) is something IHOP should nail every time. All in all, I didn't leave hungry. I had not been to IHOP in 38 years! In GA, the IHOPS were disgusting to say the least! But, this IHOP restored my faith! The Pancakes were light and fluffy, Scrambled Eggs also fluffy, and delicious! The rest of the food was Just Plain GREAT!!! Restaurant was clean, and the service was fast, and friendly! We arrived at 10:50, and were served at 11:10! Great Service, great Food, along with a friendly atmosphere! Even though they were packed, they managed to please everybody! If i could rate this with negative stars i would, i went with two of my girlfriends around midnight. i waited to be seated for almost 5 minutes when there were no people sitting at any tables. they sat us down and then asked for our drinks. it took about 10 minutes for them to bring out 2 waters and a milkshake (WHICH ISNT EVEN A REAL MILKSHAKE, YOU HAVE TO ASK FOR THEM TO PUT REAL IVE CREAM IN IT AND PAY EXTRA). they then took our order, and we didn't get our food until maybe an hour after we were seated. my food was correct, but my two friends food wasn't. one of my friends ordered crepes and they gave us an omelet. so when we returned their food to get something else, the WAITRESS was talking about our table in the kitchen very loud. she brought their food out, then i asked for hot sauce. she gave me a bottle of hot sauce and the glass SHATTERED in my hand and in my food. the whole bottle of hot sauce ended up wasting on my clothes, then i told the waitress what happened and she told the manager and his response was "well does she want something else?" when i was driving home my leg literally felt like it was on fire from the amount of hot sauce that spilt on my pants. the manager NEVER came out ONCE to make sure we were okay, and new about EVERYTHING. they didn't give us any discounts on the food. i will never go to IHOP ever again and i hope neither of you do too. thank you for reading this. read more

The service at this IHop was not up to par. I was seated immediately because the restaurant was empty. The waitress was nowhere to be found and my drink was never refilled. My order was not made correctly and none of the vegetables were cooked like stated on the menu. I come to this location often and the food and service is always good, not this time!!! My service was horrible and my food quality was not the normal hot fresh food. My server Diane was very rude and didn't seem to care, when asked for my order I gave it to her and she didn't write it down. Two minutes later she asked me my order again, and again I gave it to her. Five minutes after that she asked me for the third time but this time she was at the computer typing it in. I asked my server if I could get crispy turkey bacon since I don't eat pork, she told me that turkey bacon don't get crispy as pork bacon(it was almost raw) One server Taychelle saw the disgust in my face and asked if she can help, and she did! I told her I wanted crispy turkey bacon and she told me that would not be a problem. Taychelle gave me great service in about a 5minutes frame(I wish she was my server from the Beginning). When I was given my bill while I was eating she asked if I could pay because she was getting off... I asked her did she charge me Separately for my items she told me No, then went on the Expo line and told another server that "she asked for another egg, so she's mad because I charged her" I was beyond pissed. So I just left this IHOP and I ordered the make your own omelette and when it was brought to me I noticed hardly any of the adds I had ordered and on top of that as I was eating my omelette I found a HAIR!!! I was repulsed!! I showed them they took it to the manager and he came and asked if I wanted another or just to take it off the bill, I didn't want another so he took it off the bill. Still hungry I took one bite of my pancakes. I look at the bill and they didn't even take off my drink or the add on's. So I talked to the manager and I asked why they didn't even take off the .89 cents add on's and he said because I was eating the pancakes!! Are you serious???
