The food is very good.... The only down fall is there is no where to wait while waiting to be serviced. Service was great to an extent... We had a party of 12, the waitress needed help but it was just her, she did good for the party size. The other down fall is they don't serve Bacon (Pork) also we purchased 4 bottles of Champagne w/ shot glasses of orange juice. Each additional orange juice is $3 (crazy work)... all in all the food was Good...I Loved the fact that the cook came out & chatted with us... it was my sisters birthday brunch...9/10 id Patronize again on a less crowded day

The local is nice. I loved the disco ball and the yellow accents. Nice ambiance inside withe cute photo ops areas. The food is averaga. I had the farmers platter and asked for the eggs scramble with cheese. The hasbrowns could have been more crispy. The duck bacon was ok. I'm just a lover for pork bacon. The service was a little lacking. Our server, Missy was cordial but so busy she was not able to check on us. Every time we needed something we had to chaser. At the end we asked for water and she never made it. I hope they get more servers to avoid this.

We were nicely greeted at the door and able to be seated quickly which was a bonus, as it was fairly busy. Server Missy was prompt, cheerful and provided top service. Among us, we had the Acadian Assets, and the Brisket Hash dishes, with a shared side of duck bacon. The Assets dish came out luke warm, and Missy made it right. The Hash dishes were worthy, however a bit scant on the brisket (I was expecting a hearty brisket layer). Overall a good choice for our work group as we were famished from a morning appointment.

Stopped in here before the Femme Fatale parade. Everything was great. Our server was nice and attentive. I got the strawberry lemon drop. What a great cocktail. I got sugar around the rim, but if you skip it, it won't take away from the drink. The chicken benny was good. I got a side of hash browns, but the portion of the chicken benny was so good that I didn't really need the additional food. My mom got the lemon ricotta pancakes and really liked them. We got here pretty early, so it wasn't busy, but if you want to go later than about 10 I would recommend adding yourself to the waitlist before you arrive. I'll definitely be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed my leisurely breakfast at Crack'd. I found it while looking for a spot during a weekend trip to New Orleans. Some restaurants can be a bit weird about solo diners, but the staff here was great about my table of one! I started with the crab cake appetizer, which comes with two good-size cakes. For my main, I got the farmers platter. They serve merguez (lamb) sausage and duck bacon, which is delicious, but if lamb and duck aren't your thing - be warned! Since I was using rideshare that weekend, I'm not sure about parking, but I did not see a parking lot. Most of the neighborhood is street parking.

The location and presentation were both aesthetically pleasing, but I would not recommend eating here for the food. I will say that the monkey bread and latte was yummy. But, I was so excited to order the bacon tower and it was cold. We saw that the table next to us had theirs torched, so this could have been an oversight but it was nevertheless unenjoyable to eat. I was also disappointed in the croissant royale -- the cheese was not melted on the sandwich and the side of arugula was wilted.

This was my second experience dining at Crack'D, and it was disappointing. We were seated 35 minutes after our reservation time. We had to keep returning to the hostess stand to ask if our table was ready, what's the point of using OpenTable for a reservation if the automated notification feature isn't utilized? Once we were seated, we were quickly greeted by our server Kelsey, and our drinks and starters of monkey bread and crab rangoon, both were served hot and delicious arrived promptly. The service took a downturn when Kelsey, legit disappeared on us. It took 40 minutes to place our order, then another hour and half wait for our food, while dirty plates and empty glasses piled up on the table. When the food finally arrived, it was luke warm and not fresh, except for one friend's dish, which was hot. Our table ordered a seafood omelette, two steak and eggs( one returned back to the kitchen as the steak burnt), a chicken sandwich, and the chicken and waffles. With "large party" gratuity included (when did a party of five qualify as a large group?), our waitress had little motivation to offer better service, even with our almost $300 bill and a $42 tip that felt undeserved.

Great menu with a good variety they serve brunch until 2:30pm and close at 3pm sat. Brie helped find some great brunch choices. I ordered the farmers platter, 3 over easy eggs, hash browns & toast with 2 lamb sausage and a piece of duck bacon. This is what I recommend if you can't decide. A little bit of everything with sweet thin coating on duck bacon, and savory lamb sausage and eggs My Wife got specialty mushroom omelette and said is fresh and tasty. Our server Brie sad bedtime is before 10am for brunch on Sunday We were sat right away at 2:15pm we just beat the 2:30 pm guideline to order your food before they close kitchen at 3pm. My 3 over easy eggs were could just right still runny and soft. I prefer has browns cooked more but it didn't detract from flavor. Next time I will ask for crispy hash browns. Great decor, a large variety of beverages including tea, coffee, cocktails and mocktails. Great name l, great service and really good food. Thanks for letting get crack'd in NOLA

We had a WONDERFUL experience. The food was excellent, The duck bacon...mmm mmm mmm! Mimosas anyone?! Yes please! Missy was excellent, very helpful, very experienced and patient. We had a party of 8 and was from both Ohio and Michigan We were there to celebrate my birthday. The experience was so positive that we went back(not a good visit). BUT I will still visit again when I go back.

I want to preface this with, "this was my experience," and it looks like some people here had great experiences. Wish I could add to it but my visit was whack! We went because the place we wanted to go to was closed. The place is cute! Hip and cool! The hostess was friendly. Since we didn't have a reservation, we were giving a side table in the front. Nice bathroom too! Nice presentations! That's about all the nice things I can say. Yo said no one acknowledged her while I was in the restroom. After I sat down, she went, and no one came to me either. After she returned, we waited...and waited....and waited. Finally "K "came over and was not the most welcoming, no eye contact, no excitement, and we ordered drinks. And waited...and waited...and waited...but I noticed the two tables that were sat after us, already had their drinks. After she dropped off our drinks we ordered. And waited...and waited...and waited. The two tables ahead of us were already eating. So we waited, and waited. The family of four sitting near the window received their food, but one dish was missing. And they were waiting. They waited so long, they ended up getting the dish to go. The father did wave over one of the owners/managers. Here's the kicker. About 15 minutes later, a couple was seated next to us. When they ordered their food, the server told us our food would be up soon. But the couple got their food first! They felt bad! And then ours came out a few minutes later. The Dubai waffle was beautiful...but cold, like it had been sitting in the window for a while. I wondered if we had ordered the kid's size brisket skillet...small and "where's the beef?" What could've been a great breakfast was just wrong on so many levels! Sure, I could've said something, but I shouldn't have to. We were right in front. Two owners/managers and a hostess could clearly see us, but should also know what's going on, on the floor. Again, this was my experience, and I was on vacation. It matters. But for now, all I can say is, "Crack'd is whack!"

    Sedonia D.

I will preface this by saying I believe the management is 100% at fault for the issues described. We waited for an hour for our food, which was not the best flavor-wise. We rarely saw our server, and when we did, he was loudly criticizing the problems he was having with his team and cursing right next to us. When we were seated, we ordered everything upfront as to avoid delays, but did not get our food until 45 minutes later. Our coffee sat at the bar and became watery from the ice and its overall quality was not good. We also got told at the very end that our banana foster toast was unavailable, despite ordering it an hour prior and not being told this then. Side note, when we order this we expressed that one of us had a tree nut allergy, but our server was initially stubborn to remove the nuts from the dish before settling on omitting it. The restaurant was too packed and too busy for the staff that was onsite, and better management could have prevented the issues that were also present outside of our dining experience. Tables of four were seated at smaller tables for two, causing dropped cups and broken glass. I rarely ever have a bad experience when dining, but this was perhaps the worst experience I've ever had. It disappoints me to have even written this, as I was extremely excited to try this place. I don't believe I will be returning until something changes.

Nice brunch spot that reservations fill up. I especially enjoyed the cardamon latte! The menu had a nice assortment of brunch option both savory and sweet. Our waitress was very friendly.

Getting there about 5 mins before they opened, there was one couple in line in front of us waiting for them to open. Once they opened, we were immediately seated. They have a nice menu loaded with all the typical NOLA favs. We opted for a half order of their Muffaletta and a Cubano as well as a side of red beans & rice. Their red beans & rice was tasty! Nice texture and flavor. The Muffaletta was really good! Loved the warm, soft, fresh bread... I believe they make it there. The meats and the olive spread were so very fresh and tasty too. The Cubano was a fav as well... made so nicely and packed with flavor too. Their Cuban bread was spot-on as well. Service was great! Though pop-up showers were still lingering, my husband and I decided to take a gamble on courtyard dining--and I am so glad we did! Sheltered under the green umbrellas surrounded by historic brick walls, lush greenery, and rain-kissed citrus trees, the atmosphere was incredibly romantic and peaceful. The courtyard's intimate layout even brought a bit of extra magic to our evening. We sat near another wonderful couple (and their adorable daughter) and became fast friends, sharing laughs and conversation throughout the night. What truly anchored the experience, though, was the incredible service. The staff was remarkably personable, helpful, and welcoming. The dinner itself was excellent from start to finish, showcasing immense culinary skill across every dish. We started with the delicious brussels sprouts and a uniquely seasoned spring/summer gumbo that was unlike any version we've had before (oh, what I would give for the recipe). As for the entrées, the shrimp and grits were phenomenal, and the blackened catfish sandwich with a fresh salad was executed flawlessly...and the bread pudding was fantastic, too! It is rare to find an experience where top-tier hospitality, a breathtaking environment, and great food come together so (seemingly) effortlessly. Café Amélie is an absolute must-visit! With it being so early and only one or 2 other tables besides my friend and me, the food did take longer to come out than I expected it to. Both of us did thoroughly enjoy what we got. The salmon was crispy on the outside with a nice sauce over it. We thought we'd have time to get dessert so we ordered a couple but that too took a very long time. We finally waved down our server to cancel and get the check since we had to be somewhere and he apologized and said their WiFi was going in and out so it could be that it was registering on the kitchen side. That may have explained why our entrees took too long. If it wasn't for the service and the food being great - I would not be thrilled about timing. We got there around 5:30p and had to leave by 7:15p so an almost 2 hours experience that probably could have been 1 hour.

We had reservations for the Thanksgiving buffet, and the food was tasty with exceptional, attentive service at first. Unfortunately, one staff member significantly disrupted the experience. She approached our table without speaking, reached across us to remove plates while we were still eating, and returned later to grab items again without acknowledgment. When I asked her not to, she responded with visible irritation, eye-rolling and audibly sucking her teeth. When I requested a manager, our server mentioned there had already been complaints. During my conversation with the manager, the rude staff member returned to our table, hands balled in fists and had to be asked to leave. It took the manager several minutes to get her to walk away. While we didn't let it completely ruin the evening, we did cut our visit short as she was near the buffet when we went to get more food. While we received a round of comped drinks, that in no way makes up for the encounter. One person's lack of professionalism--and the manager's inability to effectively address it--made this experience disappointing. I'm hesitant to return, as encountering that staff member again would be enough to turn us away.

I wandered in throughout the day and wound up there most nights, for hours of socializing with wonderful friends and colleagues. The space was pretty generic, par for the course for a giant Marriott. If you've ever been in a chain hotel lobby, you can probably close your eyes and conjure the carpets. There was lots of seating, though, and it was a comfortable, easy place to hang out. A convenient meeting point even when I did end up leaving the hotel. The bartenders were decent, though it was hard to get their attention when the place was busy. I had a hell of a time paying for my very wise and virtuous afternoon Diet Pepsi. That was the only non-alcoholic beverage I got here. The rest of the conference, I drank draft Abita and bourbon, and several solid Sazeracs, with rye, Herbsaint, Peychaud's bitters, and simple syrup. If you're a tourist in New Orleans, please don't drink at 55 Fahrenheit. Save your time and health for the myriad bars that await you outside the Marriott. But if you're there for a conference with a lot of fun people, grab a Sazerac and sit down.

Rich, layered, and well-balanced with fresh elements that worked together on the plate. For entrées, we had a variety of cuts, including the Australian Wagyu, ribeye, butcher's cut, and lamb chops. The Wagyu stood out immediately. High quality, great sear, and finished tableside, which added to the overall experience without taking away from the food itself. Each steak was cooked precisely to temperature and full of flavor. The lamb chops paired with carrots and brussels were well executed and balanced. It started the moment we walked in. Glancing at the hostess, asking "OK to sit at the bar?", getting a nod, sitting down. An experience we've done in hundreds of restaurants. (We had reservations for a table but often prefer the bar.) The bartender -- whom we believe was named Mike -- started off his interaction with new customers as follows. "Did you check with the hostess?" I nodded in the affirmative, apparently that wasn't enough. "Check with the hostess", he ordered. I got up, went over the hostess stand, and confirmed, this time so "Mike" could see, that it was OK for us to sit at a half-empty bar. (In retrospect, we should have gotten up and walked out immediately, but it was late and even in the Quarter most places were closing for dinner.) You see, Mike clearly didn't want to be working that night. He was rude, inattentive, and condescending. And not just to us, to everyone seated at the bar. Slow making drinks, slow asking for orders, seething contempt for his customers. One time we asked to see a drink menu to decide on a new drink, he said, and this is a direct quote, "Do you want to see it or do you want to review it?" Mike's behavior was clearly well-known to the staff, because another staff member, who was off-shift and next to us at the bar, witnessed this behavior and arranged for a free dessert on the house (classy move on her part). She confided in us that Mike's pretty much always like that, but that he's a buddy of the general manager so seemingly un-fireable. Well, here's hoping someone reads this and thinks the better of Doris Metropolitan, or at least sitting at the bar. Unless you think service you'd get in a Paris tourist trap cafe is appropriate for a high-end steakhouse, you're better off spending your hard-earned money elsewhere.

Streetcar New…read moreOrleans must be the breakfast/brunch capital of the world - and Streetcar is right there among the best of them. Nothing fancy, but excellent service and outstanding food. I was in New Orleans for the 2026 Jazz and Heritage Festival, so my mornings were my own. I travel alone and don't always look for reservations when planning on a meal in this city. Streetcar Café is a perfect choice for what I was looking for: ample breakfast choices, a full bar, and excellent service by Andres. I ordered two poached eggs ($3.50), a single pancake ($4.50), and hash brown potatoes ($4). Totally reasonable pricing, and excellent meals, topped with the Always Summer (Malibu rum, Triple sec, OJ, Pineapple juice, Grenadine, $13). The place filled up pretty quickly after I arrived at around 10 a.m. Andres did an outstanding job of keeping track of my order, and served up the menu items piping hot. Couldn't finish it all, but it was a best-choice for brunch this morning.

Not good. Actually, a tourist trap…read more We wanted fresh fried seafood. The fried 'seafood' platter contains farm-raised imported shrimp, farm-raised imported Swai (a foreign garbage-eating pond-raised fish), and farmed oysters for $26. No thanks. Ok. Switching to gumbo. Uh, their 'gumbo' is a thin broth with virtually no solid ingredients besides white rice. A very few minuscule shreds of chicken and maybe a 6-8 tiny cubes of some tasteless sausage for $17. It did come with a nice biscuit. Be aware of what's being served. Stick to the well-known real-deal restaurants. Not everything is what it claims to be. Nothing real about this ripoff. We'll never go back to this tourist trap.
