I've been eating fast food and diner food for almost 60 years now, and frankly I'm not that picky. But what I ate at IHOP tonight (or should I say attempted to eat) was absolutely disgusting. Let me say first of all of the waitresses are polite, the restaurant looked very clean and festive for Christmas and the Elf on the Shelf menu was fun for the kids. I ordered the Montecristo sandwich. If you've ever eaten at diners you know that this is a brunch type sandwich that is served crispy and battered with Jam on the side. Their version was to make it a wrap but I expected it to be crispy. It was nothing more than a soft tasteless "wrap" with egg smeared on the inside with turkey and ham. And it was lukewarm at best. This disaster didn't in anyway represent a Monte Cristo; the result was sloppy and soft/almost soggy. I STILL would've eaten it except the turkey was gamey, dry, old and it smelled like it been freezer burned in a freezer full of mixed vegetables. It took FORTY MINUTES after ordering to get our food and there was only one other party that was served while we were waiting. In fact the whole restaurant only had four occupied tables. I would have sent this mess back if we hadn't waited so long and the kids couldn't have waited another 45 mins for me to try something else. My grandson got the kids meal but couldn't eat the powdered "scrambled" egg. So he filled up the pancake with frosting. We ordered some fancy pancakes on the side and those were delicious. My friend had a Patty melt that was just average (nothing spectacular but nothing bad either). My disgusting use-up-the-restaurant-leftovers-and-call-it-a-sandwich was $11.99 and the 3 Italian pancakes with whipped cream/chocolate chips etc was $10.99. So I don't fall for the trick "kids eat free" from 6-10pm. They just raise the other prices to cover the cost. I can't help myself; I gotta agree with others on the internet and say IHOP SHOULD STICK to PANCAKES!!! just so you know I am not a Scrooge, I felt so sorry for the waitress I left her a $20 Christmas tip; but even that was a disappointment! Our waitress rung us up at the cash register. Afterward she put her head down and kept staring at the receipt as she walked off. Good service, BUT very chintzy on the servings. A little teaspoon of butter for my grandson's pancakes. When they say 6 pieces of bacon for their double decker blt, they MEAN pieces! I'd say there might have been 3 SLICES of bacon in 6 pieces. So over-priced. read more

The food was great, it's been a while since I've been to ihop, but we felt a bit rushed since the beginning. Before my wife and I even sat down and got comfortable, we were already being asked what we wanted to drink. I asked for a lemonade ice tea and just got lemonade which is okay but being asked so quickly what I want to drink and still get it wrong was a bit frustrating. And it was around 2-2:30 pm so there really wasn't many people there. The last the thing that was frustrating was that we didn't get a single refill from our server... my wife had to ask a different server for her refill. Always extremely busy, yet we don't ever have to wait long. Service was on par. Food was good. I had the Chicken Florentine crepes. They were delicious. I hope these stay on the menu. Driving LA to Vegas and needed to stop for breakfast in Hisperia. IHOP called my name. Not disappointed. The ambience is classic IHOP. Clean and neat. The service is also classic IHOP. Our server was incredibly helpful, prompt and friendly. We shared the caramel bonbon pancake combo - a holiday special. More than enough for two people to share for a breakfast, and all for eight and a half dollars. Such a deal! And they split it in the kitchen for us. Our waitress at IHOP Julianna made our visit well worth while. So friendly and courteous. Juliana is the best waitress i've dealt with in years. I was not easy to please this morning and Juliana did everything I needed her to do to make my breakfast right. Never was she irritated or rude. I enjoy coming to this IHOP. The employees are professional and courteous. But there's one employee that I love, Ms. Tanya. I always look for Ms. Tanya because she is phenomenal. I went to IHOP today, to meet my sister in law for breakfast. Our server's name was Tonya! She was bright and cheery. She knew and explained so many yummy things on the menu. When it comes to franchises, IT IS WHAT IT IS. I don't go in expecting to be greeted or treated like a local (which I am) or to have excellent service... Usually enjoy coming here but today was a disaster. My food came out wrong 3 times. My wife's food was wrong. My daughters plate was covered in chocolate on the bottom so the table had chocolate all over it. My coffee was full of coffee grounds. To put the icing on the cake the portions were horrible. The staff here is friendly so no complaints there. Now if you go down the hill to another ihop you can get hash brown, eggs, bacon, and pancakes for 4.99 which they don't have up here. You can only get that for about 10 bucks up here. The problem though is that up here they give you an extremely small amount of food, the other locations seem to give you the double the amount. Very expensive for very little food. As far as the quality it's average taste like any other breakfast spot. Your better off making the same food at home for cheaper and getting more of it. read more

I enjoy going to this location. It is close to our house and has a decent amount of parking spaces. The restaurant is clean and the food has been good every time we go. Just STAY AWAY FROM SIDE ORDERS $3.49 for two pieces of toast is outrageous! Juices can be expensive to $3.69 for an OJ that they sell as large and it's a regular size glass. read more

Tried this location on our way to Vegas because it's right along the 15 freeway. Definitely good service. Friendly staff and has a smile on their faces. Food are outstanding! Sirloin steak are delicious, definitely recommend on trying it. I know that every IHOP are different, I guess depending on the chef but this one I'll give it an A+. read more

My first visit to this location and was very impressed. Customer service was excellent and food was good. Restaurant was well kept and clean. All the servers seemed to be friendly, well organized, and on top of things. I was surprised that they are only at a 3star rating. We just moved to the area and will be back. My husband ordered the country fried steak and was satisfied, I had the Salted Carmel pancakes and was pretty happy with them. Coffee was good and flavored cream is always a bonus! read more

Customer service is a big deal. Even though they are under a different franchise IHOP is a whole. To keep a customer coming back there should be guidelines. If a restaurant closes down for renovations and the customer has the order number. Why don't you feel the order and take it up with corporate. Why should the customer have to deal with the issue. 1st time here. Everything is perfect. All their employees is very friendly, greet u w/smile. That is what I call "customer service". The 1 thing I really loves about this place is their"mug" not smelly of cream and coffee, like all other restaurants. I don't know if they separated the coffee from tea mug, but their tea mug is not smelly. Went there with my family and kids an had a worse service ever. Sabrina the waitress who was cleaning the drop lights didn't say hi but she did ask how many. After we ordered, we got our soup but no silverware. We were not given any napkins. I had to pick it up from another table. No one came to us to ask if we were doing ok. It was not busy at all. We went here for breakfast during a family reunion on the 4th of July! We had 30+ people in our group. They were busy and we were still seated within 10 minutes of arrival. They had 3-4 waitresses checking on us, bringing food/drinks/refills/extra sides, cleaning up spills..etc. They were super friendly. One of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant in a big group. They have really stepped it up. We were super impressed and ended up tipping over 100% of our bill. Seriously I have to check my sanity sometimes and ask myself why I go back to these cliché breakfast chains. Two eggs, sausage, hashbrowns a side of 4 pcs of bacon with coffee for me and my girl and it cost me $42 not including a tip?! The eggs were cold and runny, the sausage tasted like something from the Walmart discount meat section, our serving of cold hashbrowns was anemic, The $5.00 side of pathetic stale bacon that was so thin I could've read a newspaper through it and it was disgusting. I'm still kind of speechless because even the service sucked. I wish they would just serve me adequate food in decent portions for a rational price instead of showing me annoying commercials on television. Newsflash IHOP, this is breakfast food, the ingredients are not expensive so why do I pay $42 for cold crap? Oh that's right, I almost forgot, I'm paying for your advertising. I had the best experience that I have EVER had at an IHOP before! A young manager with glasses was very attentive, not just with my table but with all the other guest around too! She seriously made the experience. I will definitely be back, she has raised my expectations for all IHOP's! I just got done grubbing down there and the food was excellent. There was only one waitress and she was a lil slow on the service but not enough to complain.
