The combo deal with harvest grain & nut pancakes. Some maple syrup would have been nice, but my waitress didn't appear after the meal was delivered with any and the syrup tray on the table didn't have any. I went to another table and got some. As for the coffee, there were two good cups worth in the carafe. It ran out before it could fill a third cup. We stopped on our trip from NY to NC. It was conveniently located off 95. It was fairly empty at 8:30 on a Tuesday. We both got 55+ breakfasts. My scrambled eggs were a little wet and my bacon too well done. Potatoes (homefries) were thin sliced but toasted pretty well. 2x2x2 my husband had. It was 2 eggs, 2 sausage and 2 pancakes. I dined on a Sunday afternoon, and was seated immediately and was approached by my server within moments. My food arrived quickly. The food was standardly prepared and clearly fresh. I order an avocado toast and I got this. The avocado was bad and barely filled the bread. In that case I would of order toast and a side of avocado. The waiter stated that's the way it was served and honestly, I've had this in another IHOP and it was not serve like that. Before bringing food too the table, the waiter/waitress should review the presentation of the food to make sure this does not happen. The waitress Shanna was super friendly, she joked with us and offered to take our photo with my camera when she saw me taking pics of the food. The food came out super fresh and with a short wait time. Everything about our time here was seamless and exactly how it should be. I'm relieved that the food was great and service was quick because I had other family who opted for fast food down the road for a quick meal. They were quietly playing 80's music I loved in the background, as Prince's "I will die for you" came on I couldn't help but shimmy my way out the door like Prince did in Purple Rain as my husband laughed. read more

First review of the New Year. IHOP is IHOP....pretty much hit or miss...seems to become pricier every year for basic fare. The food is ok..had the appetizer sampler, 55+ Senior Breakfast Sampler and my son Troy had his favorite Chocolate Chocolate Chips Pancakes. No worries til the breakfast sampler came out with egg substitute and some noxious cheese stuff on top. Took me straight back to boot camp many moons ago and field rations! I was not a happy camper. Fortunately I had the bomb waitress Ezinne...the quiet totally competent type...she notified management immediately and before I could turn around, Mr Morris had apologised, listened to my preference for real or shelled eggs, sent back the plate and returned with it This location gets 4 stars for the customer service and responsiveness of staff (Ms. Ezinne) and management (Mr. Morris). read more

Not sure what some of the negative review's are about but l had a very pleasant experience here on a Saturday morning with my family. We arrived around 9am. We had a short wait. Probably about ten minutes or so. We were escorted to our table. Our server came over immediately and asked if she could get us started with our coffee and l said yes it's a must. She bought everyone their drinks and asked us if we needed time to make our selections. Even though l had quite a time deciding she didn't disappear. She checked back regularly. We placed our order and we had a table of four. Our food arrived shortly thereafter. We never had a long wait for anything. Maybe it was where we were seated. Not sure what others are complaining about but our food was good. The service was on point.We were quite impressed to get in and out with prompt service. It's actually 3.5, but unable to do so. And only for the slow service to the teens in our group. Our server, Jonny was great. Prompt, listened carefully and helped out at another booth when the teenagers were ignored. 4 adults at our table had chicken with broccoli and 3 burgers. All arrived promptly with the correct extras or exclusions. Good job. The mgr however created a situation with the rest of our party that in turn, caused 3/4 of the teens not to be allowed to order for 30 minutes AFTER the adults were served. So, enjoy the I Hop goodies but don't come with a large group cuz it was painful. Have been here before with a large group and it was easy. Not sure why the mgmt issue this time around... IHOP recently opened and is located right next to the Advanced Auto Parts that's next to MOM's organic market. Since they've just opened, it's expected for their service to be questionable. You can't expect service to be perfect like Fogo De Chao. It's not all about the environment. There are other factors being played into opening a brand new restaurant from employee's chemistry with other employees to how the restaurant was organized when being made. Me and my brother came here 2 weeks ago and it was the only IHOP I've ever been to that wasn't packed. It had around 8 tables filled including ours. The organization of how the waiters and waitresses worked was clearly flawed, however, they tried their best and it wasn't that bad for us. Our waiter was cool and very informative. I decided to get the 4 piece fried chicken dinner with a Belgium waffle on the side and my brother got the fish and chips platter and a spinach sandwich with coffee. We got our food around 10-15 minutes later which is a bit slow compared to the other IHOP's i've been to, however, the food I got was FRESH. I mean FRESH. The chicken really felt like it was made to order and wasn't frozen like many other restaurants make it out to be. The skin was perfectly crisp and the meat was so juicy, tender, and flavorful. Then you take a spoon filled with mashed potatoes? Let's just say that this is the Best IHOP i've ever been to and it's pretty close to where I live! I had a piece of my brother's fish and that was really good too; mostly fish and just enough batter to hold it in. Service was pretty good even though it just opened up about a month ago, but beware, the service might not be consistent at the moment when it gets busy. But I'm sure it'll improve as time goes on. I couldn't leave without dropping some acknowledgement for our delightful server, Nichelle "Nicki". I came with my sister and our three young children, all of whom were rather on the restless side. My 18mos old daughter was particularly fussy. Nichelle greeted us and immediately set about getting waters for the kids, and was prepared to take our orders for them straight away. She must've gone straight to the kitchen and spoke to the cook with our order because the children's food arrived sooner than I could blink! Fast, no-cook night for me! Kids eat free after 4. Food and overall experience could have been much better -- blueberry residue on our flapjacks, I don't think the heat was turned on (eating pancakes wearing coats), an interesting crowd of folks here, but the customer service was decent. I have had breakfast delivered to me from IHOP twice in the past couple of weeks. I like that they separate the pancakes or waffles from the bacon and eggs.
