Honestly the worst service I've ever gotten from a restaurant. After Martha explained that we needed "real masks" and not just face coverings, we all left and shortly returned with real masks and expected things to go smoothly. It seemed like Martha got upset that we came back at all even though we did as she said and were polite about it. The rest of our visit, she was condescending and passive aggressive the entire time she served us. She would literally THROW anything we asked for across the table to us (plates, dressings, syrup cups), roll her eyes, and walk away. She would interrupt my family members when they asked for anything and spoke harshly to our entire party the whole time. It was hard not to laugh because she made us all feel like we were kids in detention. The food was horrible (frozen or overcooked and not matching the menu description at all). It was definitely a bit on the slow side. Took a bit just to get a coffee order so that was not off to a great start. It was not packed but steady. Both of us got omelettes and they were fine but could have been hotter. They give you pancakes on a plate too small to put syrup on so that's kinda stupid. TERRIBLE service!!!! WE WAITED FOR 20 minutes before they took our drink order, another 30 minutes before we got our drinks. And 1 1/2 hours after walking in the door, we FINALLY got our food. We were the ONLY people in the restaurant, and only got 1 drink refill. The waiter was awful! read more

CANNOT HANDLE THE SUNDAY CROWD. Arrived here sat for 30 minutes and the server arrived back because she still hadn't put in our order and couldn't read her handwriting to put it in. Don't go to this location you will get rude customer service. I work for the Government, and we have to be at work by 6:30am. So for breakfast options that early in the morning, there are very few options. I tried to call in an order on or around 5:20 am the 6th of August. I was told by the rude person that answered the phone at IHOP on University, "that I was not allowed to place an order in by the phone. That I have to wait till 6am to call in an order." Now I would normally be ok with just walking in and waiting for my order, but I live in El Paso and I drive 1 hour for work. So to leave early just to wait for and order I find that a waist of my time and patience. Especially since they are open 24 hours. What is it that much of inconvenience to them to take a phone order early? But it gets better from there, when I asked the individual what is the difference between me calling in order right now, than driving and waiting there for 20 minutes, when my order could have been ready by the time I called? He couldn't answer, so then he started playing the role, "sir I can't hear you, your phone is breaking up, and hung up on me." Waitress/manager got the order wrong and it took over 40 minutes for food to be served. Because the order was wrong one of the nine in our party was not able to eat with the rest of the group. Asked if they had a military discount and waitress said their policy was to only give the discount to active duty in uniform. read more

This Store is fairly new, service is going down hill every time we go. Management seems to not care at all. Employees and manager stand around as though they are no coustomers in the place. Avoid this trainwreck! Three of us stopped in for breakfast about 8:30 a.m on a Thursday just off the I10. Place was about 1/3 full (should have been a clue). WORST service I have ever had in an IHOP or any other similar establishment. Waitress brought a coffee pot with exactly 3 cups of coffee in it. We asked for more coffee and over 10 minutes later and a second request a half full pot arrived. All three orders were fouled up - no flatware on table (we collected three sets from an adjacent table). Ultimately it took 3 separate servers to get things right. Upon leaving I told a manager they may want to consider remedial training for their staff. Only response I got was a blank, bovine stare. . . maybe English was his 2nd or 3rd language. Do yourself a favor - skip this dump and hit the Cracker Barrel at the next exit. read more

Pretty amazing that the international pancake house (aka iHop) is right here in Las Cruces! Not sure why they picked it but there must be something special. Maybe a local can comment who knows?? Anyways, we thought we would get a little kooky and have breakfast for dinner ;) so we stopped here! It was delicious. I got pancakes, the kids got pancakes and my husband got pancakes. Everyone was satisfied. They were nice enough to split the checks without us asking! They had 4 different types of syrup which was great. They had blueberry, strawberry, butter pecan, and original. A little disappointing they didn't have maple but the original flavor tasted pretty good so I used that. Also would've gotten the all you can eat pancakes but it only works for that visit?seems a little misleading. But the waitress was nice and very patient in explaining it to me. Truly wonderful night at such a worldly place. Felt so cultured after we left. IHope to come back sometime to iHop!! LOL read more

Never again went in on a Sunday we were a party of 4 my children arrived 30minutes before I did. When I arrived they had ordered drinks only so after about 20 minutes after I arrived the waitress takes my drink order and brings it within a few minutes. We then place our food order obviously others came in while we are waiting on our food over 30 minutes still waiting we see other parties who arrived after us being served. I decided not to get upset because I thought maybe there is a good reason for it. So our waitress comes over after an hour of placing our food order and at least 3 other tables getting their food order that arrived after us and she tells use sorry for the delay but, your food should be out shortly! We ordered breakfast food nothing complex will another hour went by and nothing no waitress either she was busy visiting with the people that arrived after us and had been served there food. At this point my children said this is ridiculous so we got up and left!!! As I walked out I advised the 2 people at the front counter that we were leaving because we sat waiting on our food for over 2hours and nothing! They just looked at me and struggled their shoulders never offered a manager or even at the very least apologize!!! We frequented this IHOP often well let me tell you we will Never eat there again!!!! read more

I have been to this location 4 times. Service was slow every time due to a lack of servers. Service was inconsistent and we had to wait every time for refills and check. Food quality also poor. There was no management presence. I also found it very strange that the employees do not use the register but make change out of their aprons and usually do not have the correct change. I will not be back. I recommend that you spend your money elsewhere!! read more

First and last time we go to this location, it was not busy, food was good enough, terrible, slow service. The waiter took awhile to take and refill our drinks, got my drink wrong and then looked at me like I was wrong even brought a menu to me so I could show him what I wanted again. The only good thing about our experience was the waitress. The cook was very slow (we found out later that the manager was cooking), the food was wrong, and twice they brought out food that was cold. Would not recommend for family outing read more
