    Colorado Omelette and hot coffee
    Rob W.

Three words: UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!!! We are sooooo grateful that the LB location has a new manager. We stopped dining here for a while until recently when we decided to give them another chance. Glad we did! The hostess was very kind and worked hard to seat us, despite it being very busy. Every single employee that we saw was hustling and doing their job with a smile, despite it being a Saturday morning and extremely busy. Our order was taken in a timely manner and our food arrived surprisingly quickly. Our omelets were hot and made with fresh ingredients. Pancakes and hash browns were also very good. The constant service from our server was steady but not annoying. Breakfast was a win. All in all, give this place a try if you haven't been here lately. With the new manager running things, this IHOP is definitely a recommended restaurant you should visit in Los Banos. You won't be disappointed!

Super good server, she was so nice and funny. Had the turkey club on sourdough, hit the spot! Burger with egg in it was good too, but kinda on small side. All in all would recommend

Excellent service! Excellent burgers, excellent French toast and the pancake are well... it's IHOP and pancakes are always off the hook! We go during happy hour so the price is at a decent price point!

I really wanted to like this place. However, our last couple of DoorDash orders were awful and when dining in they were out of items at dinner time. Last night was the worse though. Ordered four meals and not one was correct. All were missing items, eggs were undercooked and pancakes were raw in the center. Literally raw. Sorry, but won't be going back.

Grand Opening was Everything and More. The staff was so Friendly and Wonderful. 6am was not an issue for them to provide The Best service and meals. Shredded Hash Browns can easily be too crispy, mine were to Perfection! I forgot to let them know that their coffee was Spot On. My boys and I will be regulars, we look forward to getting to know the staff.

They forgot to Toast the other side of my BLT.

This is place is horrible! The manager yells at his staff, there is no organization, and they play the blame game (it's the servers fault, no it's the cooks fault). We ordered 3 entrees - 3 out of 4 came out wrong. They gave us hashbrown instead of fruit for one plate, another plate was given hash browns instead of country potatoes, another plate was given wrong: no hollandaise sauce when extra on the side was requested), also the pancakes were served in a small plate- the pancakes where hanging over the plate - couldn't eat the pancakes on the plate without the syrup spilling over. They never brought us over the syrup nor butter we requested. Never got a refill of water. Our main server repeated our order twice so it couldn't have been her. She made sure she had the order correct before heading back to the kitchen. There were other servers in between bringing out the food. I have to say, our main server was nice, patient and understanding. Regardless of the mess us she was not rude to us. She knew what we had ordered. Looked at the plate and knew they were wrong. She tried her best but we can tell she was getting was getting pulled left and right table to table. It was a hot mess! Other Servers seemed confused on who was serving what, one waitress almost dropped sauce on our friends baby. All the hot items were always left by the baby's reach (she was in a high chair) in this case, the coffee was the only thing that was really hot and the plates were hot not the food itself. In addition to all of this, food was cold or Luke warm. Not hot! Plates were hotter than the food. At $15-18 dollars a plate not worth it at all! Just horrible. Prior to being seated - the manager was coming into the restaurant as we waited to be seated (the one that is always yelling at his staff), he was so rude didn't say excuse me to my husband just requested he get out of the way - it looked like he was coming In from a break or coming in for his shift. Just rudeness. The workers seem so miserable with no effort - just seemed like such a hostile, stressful environment there. It all boils down to management which is going to be reason this place gets so many complaints, or fails. After today, we will never be coming back or bringing our family or friends here. No way! Before this visit we came in the evening not morning - it wasn't busy and my sandwich was half toasted, fries were cold. My BLT looked so sad! The food was not very good. But we figured let's give them another chance. You can tell they have a highly turnover - it's always new people. People don't leave bad jobs they leave bad bosses! Just hire new management, staff will be as strong as their management. This place is simply a hot HOT mess!

They were out of both beef and pork ribs, but we saw they had a ribeye steak dinner, so we said, why not try it? Of course, it wasn't slow roasted (we ordered it rare), but the broiling and the seasoning was terrific. We split a one pounder, medium rare, and it was more than enough for two of us; not only the steak but a giant crispy dinner salad, a bowl of delicious braised collards, and a dinner roll. More than enough to gorge ourselves silly. Service was friendly, informal dining was tops (too hot to eat outside). we wont wait another five years to come back (in fact, we are going back tomorrow mornign to grab some ribs to take home).

Truly an excellent restaurant…read more My wife and I were on a road trip and were drawn in by the beautiful flower arrangements and the storefront sign, so we decided to have breakfast here. Atmosphere: This is a black bear-themed restaurant. The interior decorations are delightful, including the log accents and bear-themed items--there's even a great selection of bear-themed merchandise. The seats are spacious and comfortable, the table settings are clean, and there's not a speck of dust on the windowsills. Truly beyond expectations. Service: The staff member at the front--was she up too early? I didn't feel she greeted us with the energy this place should offer. Once we sat down, however, the other servers were very warm and enthusiastic--they introduced the menu, offered recommendations, and provided service with a smile. When I used to run my own restaurant, I always told my team: "Taste is subjective--you can't please everyone. But if guests feel they've received impeccable service, they won't leave a bad review. On the other hand, if the food is amazing but the service is lacking, they'll never come back." Taste: The service and atmosphere are ultimately just ways to enhance the meal. Eggs Benedict: The eggs were cooked to perfection, the roasted potatoes were just the right size, and the side salad was huge yet well-balanced--not too heavy in flavor. Using baby spinach instead of romaine lettuce was a very nice touch. Steak and eggs: I asked for medium-rare, but I think it was a bit overcooked--closer to medium-well. Coffee: Excellent. After we ordered, the staff very kindly told us that the food might take a little while and asked us to be patient. Meanwhile, the menu and table settings introduced the restaurant's history, which helps guests avoid feeling frustrated by a long wait. I thought that was a very nice touch. I used this same method in running my own restaurant--by consistently leaving a strong impression on customers, you encourage them to return. If the owner is interested, I'd be happy to share a few more tips from my own experience running a restaurant. If I'm ever on another road trip, I will definitely come back. All the best!
