Went for a late night dinner. There was only one waitress who was really struggling to keep up with all the tables coming in; but it wasn't her fault - the place was understaffed. IHop isn't exactly known for top-notch grub, but this was one of the worst IHop's I've been to. It felt unclean. I waited almost 10 minutes to even be asked for my order. The kitchen was painfully slow - I waited 25-30 minutes for just my one, basic egg breakfast. I was dining alone and when I placed my order, there were only 2 other tables seated in the place and both already had food (though several tables came in later). My hashbrowns were oily and underdone, my fruit salad was a few old grapes and some canned pineapple, and the eggs had a slightly off flavor about them. The service was terrible. First, we waited about 20 minutes for our order to be taken, waited an hour and a half for the food and when they finally brought it out 2/4 orders were not right. Waited another half an hour for the right food and it was mediocre at best. Very disappointed with this establishment and will NOT be coming back. By far the worst service I have had in years. Our server was Mary, I waited 15 minutes for a water and had to go get my own silverware off of another table. I am a server and bartender myself and have never actually taken the time to write a review but I felt it was necessary to let people know how bad the service was. All I ask for when I go out for food or drinks, is a sincere "welcome" and friendly service. When there are two servers and only three tables, that shouldn't be too much to ask for. If it is slow. You shouldn't stop to clean up one of 12 empty booths before you greet guests. read more

Naples Pineridge IHOP 8:50 AM on Saturday. There's Barely anyone in the place, 4 servers two greeters and I really hope there's not a manager here.... walking around looking list or whatever they want to call them self these days, after I'm seated, just me, myself and an adorable couple with a baby in our section, After watching the greeters the manager and servers walk around for 10 minutes, no one comes to my table or that couples table. The other table close by with three people, older... their food is being brought to them and immediately they're saying everything is cold. I had to get up and leave. This is the one in Naples on Pineridge and 75. I'm gonna drive all the way up to Bonita to an IHOP that cares about their business, their customers and the quality of what they serve people. Came in with a family of 5 including a toddler and 2 kids. Kids are well behaved except for the toddler who was a little loud, because he was hungry. Restaurant was supposedly family friendly with great service, but I am highly disappointed with the service, I didn't get silverwares, and not even my pancake. When we get there 3 families were waiting to be seated, after 10 minutes one family left and said Waffle House it is. Worst dining experience ever! My son wanted to eat on the patio this evening around 5:45PM, so we did. It was filthy and clearly had not been swept or cleaned throughout the day. When I asked our server, Colton, to wipe our table off he sent another server over to take care of it. When our food arrived, it was not as we had ordered it. When I showed Colton my daughters ham and egg melt that was sloppily put together and on thin, soggy white toast, he apologized stating, "We have a new cook, and I'm trying my hardest with him". We sent the sandwich back and a new one came out in less than 5 minutes - with cold, hard cheese and stringy ham. My pancakes were disgusting. I ordered the NY Cheesecake Pancakes, but they were mushy and just plain inedible. Half of my pancake combo came out 10 minutes after my pancakes came out because the cook forgot to prepare it. At that point, I lost my appetite and went up to the counter to pay for our meal. While standing there, I watched another patron send food back because it had hair in it. We just walked out of his IHOP. We walked in stood there waiting to be seated, there was all of 4 tables seated in the entire place when we walked in. There was a lady already waiting to be seated in front of us and another walked in right before us. A waitress acknowledged our growing group and said it will be about 5 minutes before we can seat you. WHAAAT? There's only 4 tables seated and the place is empty except us 3 waiting to be seated. I have been to this IHOP on multiple occasions and The servers at night are not friendly and act like you don't exist. The IHOP on Davis blvd has less servers at night than this one and I would still recommend the Davis blvd IHOP before this location. It costs nothing to greet a paying customer and let them know you will be right with them. read more

We went to Ihop yesterday for breakfast. It was very busy but we waited for a table. Our waiter was pleasant and brought us coffee and took our order. It seemed like he had way too many tables. After waiting 20 minutes to get another pot of coffee i stopped another waitress to get coffee. After a 40 minute wait and still no breakfast we left and placed $5:00 on the table for our coffee. I came here expecting great food and a nice waiter/waitress. Little did I know that it would exceed my expectations. Our server was a flamboyant man in his early 50's with a New York accent. Constantly cracking jokes, and telling us about life in New York, my friends and I felt very comfortable and relaxed around him. Absoultly the worst food I ever ate ever! I have gone to this IHOP a few times in the past and have always had a delicious breakfast. Being a place known for breakfast, you think they could get that right! I decided to take my Grandaughter out for Sunday morning breakfast and we choose this place , never again! First off the ceiling was dripping about 6 inches from where I was seated with one of the tiles missing and a nasty mess up there just about hanging over your food on the table! Then the kitchen screwed up the kids meal and sent a completely different one that she ordered, I ordered a simple 2 eggs scrambled with toast and hashbrowns and bacon. The toast was cold and dry, the scrambled eggs were a chopped up dry omlet and the bacon was cold. I sent my plate back and asked for scrambled eggs not a chopped up omlet and asked for some butter for my cold toast. after having to wait again for our food, they brought me back another chopped up omlet only in smaller pieces! obviously these people dont know how to make scrambled eggs. I read the other reviews for this place and was VERY surprised by the multiple mentions of great service!! I've been here a few times and enjoyed it, but my last trip was unbelievably terrible. I can still remember the server's name (Satin) because I don't think I've ever been treated so badly in a restaurant. I came in with a small group and the first thing she did was ask us if we were going to tip her. WHAT???!!!!! I was shocked and super offended, but willing to write it off as a bad joke. It just got worse from there. She made rude comments about the food we ordered ("You're really going to eat that?") and took forever to get us things like drink refills and silverware even though the place was basically empty. When we were done eating my group gave me cash for their part of the tip and went outside to wait while I paid the bill (they just wanted to leave ASAP after this awful experience). The server walked over and loudly complained that she knew we weren't going to tip her, while I had the tip IN MY HAND!!!!! I always tip really well because I know how hard servers work, but she pretty much insulted me to my face!! I still ended up leaving a small tip, but I will never eat here again. This was one of the worst dining experiences ever. We went on Sunday 2/14 late morning for breakfast. We knew we would have to wait and that was not a problem. Once seated our waiter, Dominic started by complaining that he had 11 tables and service will be slow. (We should have left then!) it was a disaster.... While waiting for coffee, he chased a couple out of restaurant who left without paying their bill....they probably waited too long for the bill! Finally coffee... Still complaining.... Another wait to put in the order. In the meantime he does come around and apologize for running outside chasing the people. Now coffee is on him. Finally place our order and wait and wait and wait. When the food finally came it was cold and the wrong order!!!! We were so hungry we ate it! When he finally came for the bill, which we commandeered when he brought the food, he said hope to see you back . That's all I needed... I replied definitely NOT. He asked why.... I said the service was bad, food was cold and it was the wrong order. He said he was sorry, and I said no I was sorry and left! This whole ordeal took over an hour and a half!
