    Hard curled up German crepes

I never review places but had to on this location $47 for the worst breakfast! Let's start with silverware stuck to napkins...wtf? Ordered German crepes. Not freshly made, frozen, out of a box and heated poorly! Edges were hard and curled up. Lemon served with looked 3 days old, withered and dried out. Sausage looked like days spent under heat lamp and fruit with sister's Belgian waffle was not fresh.

Ordered delivery from here one time for dinner. As ihop is well known for the pancakes I wanted to venture out and try out their other products. I went with their breakfast sandwich, mozzarella sticks, and cinnamon pancakes. Overall the food was sub par to my expectations. The breakfast sandwich tasted good but it was difficult to eat like a sandwich as it would keep breaking apart when you tried to hold it up. The eggs, cheese, and bacon inside of it were fine. The biscuit also tastes fine but wasn't anything special. The home fries that came with the sandwich were bad. Didn't have any taste to it and was slightly rubbery in texture. I ordered it to be crispy but it wasn't crispy. Also ordered a side of mozzarella sticks which weren't good. It was a bit rubbery and had no taste to it. The sauce that came with it was flavorless. The cinnamon pancakes though were really good. Light, buttery, delicious, and flavorful. I guess it is my fault for going to ihop and trying anything else other than their pancakes. If I do end up here again I won't be as adventurous and just stick with their pancakes.

I ordered the Salmon entree for dinner while at work & this was the surprise I got, a 1/4 PC of meat. Vert disappointed and unsatisfied.

Glad to see that an ihop finally opened in the North Brunswick area and it's in a strip mall. This ihop is open 24 hours which is great! We finally were able to give it a try and went late on a Saturday afternoon. It was pretty empty since it was an off hour and the waiter was quick with our order. I ordered the $9.99 breakfast special that came with any 2 flavored pancakes and a breakfast combo. So I ordered the cheesecake pancakes with scrambled eggs, Turkey sausage, and hash browns. My husband ordered the dance pancakes as well with fried eggs, sausages, and hash browns. We were excited to try the cheesecake pancakes since the menu described it was having cheesecake bites in it. Unfortunately, it was more like uncooked cheesecake batter as it was runny in the middle. I would of preferred actual cheesecakes bits. I would pass and get the regular pancakes. Also, it felt like the rest of my order shrunk. The portion definitely isn't as big as it used to be. I had ordered the hash browns to be made extra crispy but when they came out, they were undercooked. This is one of the cleaner locations, at least for now. Let's hope they keep it this way.

    spinach egg and cheese omelette

terrible experience... ordered spinach & mushroom cheese omelette along with a few other breakfast meals for my family. Upon eating egg omelette i noticed a small hair in my food. I called my waiter to let him know the situation and let him know i would like them to remove that item off the bill. With-in 5 mins a manager ( bald head guy ) came to my table, very unprofessional, never gave his name or title , in which I didn't even know he was a manager until I asked for another manager. He asked what was the problem and i explained to him , while I was eating we found a hair in my food. He then asked to see the hair which i had on the napkin to show them, he immediately stated ( well its not one of our hairs ) and that he can offer me a discount. I refuse the discount and said honestly i dont care who hair it is, im not paying for that meal. He then stated he can make me a fresh omelette and I said no thank you, I told him I already lost my appetite. he then continued to offer a discount and i said no i dont want a discount I want my bill with that 1 meal removed. He then went on to say he not taking it off and if I dnt pay he will call the cops. To make a long story short, I never experienced such bad service especially dealing with hair being in food. Never again will I return to this location!!!! And that so called manager needs training on how to actually be a manager ,handle manager situations, and addressing customers.

I'm vegetarian and don't eat eggs, so I ordered the Mexican Chilaquiles without egg. They were super helpful and substituted the egg with beans and mushrooms, which I really appreciated. A lot of places will just remove the egg, so it was nice that they actually replaced it with something. The chilaquiles were flavorful and filling. My husband got the Quesadilla Mex with veggies, and it was HUGE! It was thick and stuffed really well. He couldn't even finish it. It came with salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and a small basket of fries. For the price, I think the portions here are really good. I also got the iced Coko Moko Latte with coconut syrup, chocolate, and a shot of espresso. Really liked this one! The coconut and chocolate went surprisingly well together with the coffee. The location is convenient too, close to downtown Metuchen and Whole Foods, and they have their own parking lot, which is always a plus around this area. Good food, good portions, friendly service, and a really nice brunch date overall. We'll definitely be back!

SO much more room to breathe. Maria's moved into the old Latin Port space at 87 Central Ave, and they've been in the new location for about two months now. You can actually walk in, have a seat, and not feel like you've accidentally walked into someone's living room. I popped in today for a quick latte to go and went with a hot Coko Loko (that's latte with coconut syrup and a lil' hint of choc). And just when I thought I was done, I got this little surprise at the end: fresh coconut flakes in the final sips. If you're a coconut person, you'll want to try this one!

The host was super warm and friendly and, since it was our first time, guided us through the menu and gave us some good suggestions. That definitely made a great first impression. I'm vegetarian and don't eat eggs directly, so I got the Vegetarian Ranchero with the egg on the side. They were totally fine accommodating that, and I really enjoyed it. We also tried the guava and cheese empanada, which was a first for me, and honestly it was delicious! I wasn't sure what to expect from that combination, but the sweet guava and cheese were so well balanced. Definitely one of my favorites from the brunch. I also got their signature coffee with refills, which was perfect because we were there to relax, chat, and celebrate. Overall, we really enjoyed our brunch. Good food, friendly service, and a nice atmosphere to just sit and catch up. Such a great first visit, and I'd definitely come back!

A few logistical tips: while there is street parking, a public lot is conveniently located right across the street. The dining room is quite intimate with only about ten tables, and since they don't seem to take reservations, I recommend arriving early or being prepared for a wait. If you don't want to wait, they do offer takeout! Another suggestion is to browse their menu online before you arrive, the selection is extensive! We showed up without a game plan and needed several minutes just to decide because there were so many tempting choices! Luckily, our waiter was incredibly patient and helpful, answering every question we had. Once we decided, the real fun began. Every single item, and I'm not exaggerating, was phenomenal! We started with the fresh squeezed orange juice, which was sweet and perfectly portioned, along with a vanilla latte and a cappuccino. Both were classic, rich, and creamy. For the main course, we chose the "Chill + Qill It" Chilaquiles, which featured traditional corn tortillas topped with cotija cheese, avocado, pink sour cream, eggs, and your choice of protein. We also tried the Parkside Classic Sliders; the chicken was exceptionally crispy yet tender and juicy, served with eggs on a brioche bun. We opted to upgrade to the truffle fries, which were delicious! Although our sliders accidentally came with pickles, the staff was so kind and immediately offered to remake the dish or swap out the bun. Finally, we had the Grilled Chicken Egg Ranchero. It was like a breakfast version of nachos, loaded with beans, peppers, onions, an egg, those same crispy tortillas, and more of that signature pink cream! We couldn't leave without satisfying our sweet tooth, so we finished with the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It tasted exactly like a fresh cinnamon roll, the glaze was incredible, and the bread was perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining fluffy inside. I honestly cannot wait to go back and work my way through the rest of the kitchen's creations. This restaurant is a absolute must-visit for their unique combinations and superb flavors!

I ordered the chicken scoop that was absolutely delicious. 2 Crispy chicken breasts topped with yummy bacon jam all on top of a delicious Belgium waffle drizzled with maple mustard syrup. It was not drenched in syrup which was great, the perfect amount of sweet and salty. For our appetizers we ordered the cauli tempura with the sauce in the side as our server Mericis suggested after my concern over the spice level; and I'm glad she mentioned it because one dip into the sauce and it was not for me. She joyfully suggested other sauces (garlic mayo, aji verde & chimichurri) that were delicious but the garlic mayo was my fave. We also got the nori roll which is one of our fave apps here. The sauce drizzled on top really takes it to the next level. For drinks I ordered the seasonal dulce plantain pudding latte -- yum! Loved every bit of it, especially that it wasn't overly sweet. Our server, Mericis was great. Always attentive, patient as I tried to figure out what I wanted to try next after coming for my 3rd time, and overall great vibes. She made our experience an amazing one on top of the delicious food and drinks we had. Will definitely return! Also love they have printed menus now!

It was a nice and refreshing lunch that was not too heavy. My favorite of the three was the tuna salad. We all sampled each other's dishes, and there was not one I did not like.
