First off, let me start by saying, this place stays busy, and I keep coming back, this is all a good thing, the female manager is top notch, her staff is always friendly, service is always great, and the food is always excellent. Who ever the owner is of this establishment, do not change a thing. What I love the most is it's like a home environment. You see the same friendly people who still work there which means the manager is doing something right to sustain her employees. Walked in and had to wait quite a bit to be seated. Restaurant was busy, but not overwhelmingly so. Sat and waited...and waited...and waited. Finally I tracked someone down to beg for coffee. By now, all other people who came around the same time were eating, and we didn't even have silverware. Good thing we were near the area with creamer, napkins, etc. so I could wait on ourselves. Finally took our order, and we waited MORE. It was endless. Waitress never once came to see how things were, but fell all over some other customers. I got our to-go boxes so we could get around to leave, and told the waitress we needed our check. Guess what...we waited MORE. I had to go to the register and ask for our check. We have been loyal customers in this IHOP, but nope, no more. If we ever want to eat there again, it will be take-out only. We easily could have walked out and stiffed them, but we knew that was wrong...just like the way we were treated was wrong. Last thing--there was a DOG in there. Not a guide dog, a regular dog on a leash, barking like crazy. Felt like we were eating in a curbside food truck. read more

We had the BEST experience at IHOP, thanks to our incredible waitress, Tracy! From the moment we sat down, she was warm, friendly, and made us feel totally at home. Her service was fast, thoughtful, and full of positive energy. honestly, she made our morning. The food was delicious, but Tracy was the real highlight. This was my first time attending this iHop last Thursday. We went around 11 and it was so packed but we were sat down right away. We were sat all the way in the back in the corner. The waiter didn't see us for at least 10-15 mins and she apologized which is fine I understand on a busy day. BUT when she took our order she completely forgot to bring us our waters. I went with my friends Saturday morning and Rene was the waiter, the cashier, taking orders, cleaning tables, serving coffee and doing more at the same time. He try the best of him but it was not fair this place have not more staff. I really hope he gets a good bonus and owner thank him to hold the place together since there were two other woman but he was the héroe for over 2 hours I was there. Cynthia was a delight as my server on my visit. I rarely get to this part of town valley but an old school stop at an Ihop hit the spot for breakfast. Ordered an 4 cheese/spinach Omelet with a side of pancakes and coffee. Restaurant wasn't slammed so that was a plus on a weekday. read more

Breakfast at IHOP is always a must! Today, we went for breakfast and coffee since it was a chilly rainy day. Obviously other people had the same idea because it was extremely busy! The servers were visibly busy and hustling away. The service didn't disappoint despite them having to accommodate all of the customers. Our server was Cynthia and she went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Her attention to detail, friendly attitude, and kindness was infectious. My husband and I honestly didn't mind waiting a few extra minutes for our order because the vibe was so pleasant. As usual, our food arrived just as ordered and was piping hot! This review is for the service not the food. It's ihop you know what you're gonna get. This was our experience the last 3 times we went. First visit; Mayra our waitress started off good but went downhill quick. I went here with my husband and grandchild. She brought my husband's food first. Then said she would be back for the rest. Instead she turned around and took the order for two other tables. One was a large group. It took her a good 10 mins to bring the rest of our order. My husband was waiting to eat, but I told him not to wait because his food would get cold. By the time she brought the rest of our food my husband was halfway through his. Then my grandson was missing a part of his order and she brought it to us after we flagged her down. In the middle of our meal she hands us our check when we were far from done eating. Then a minute later comes back again while in the middle of eating asks us if we are ready to pay. My husband taken aback by her said "Are you kicking us out already?" Second visit evening hours. Ordered a sandwich with fries and asked for a side of country gravy, which smelled like fish and was bad. The waitress claimed that they were temporarily using another brand and that was the reason why but I don't believe that I believe that it was old and probably already fermenting and they were still utilizing it throughout the night so that was not only disgusting. It was a health hazard. Third visit this last Sunday I'm done with this place. We all know that IHOP food is premade warmed up. It's not cooked from scratch like it used to be and that's OK. You know what you're getting even if it's almost $25 a plate you know what you're getting . But the service is just horrendous. We were seated quickly, which was good. However, our waitress took forever to take our order almost over 10 minutes of us sitting there and then almost 10 minutes just to get drinks. I'm pretty sure we got our drinks almost the same time we got our food and then the waitress gave my husband the wrong food item but at that point we had waited so long he didn't care anymore, he just ate what he got at least half of it. Then the hostess comes and moves the tables next to us making it impossible for me to get out. I looked at her, and I told her that I was not gonna fit in that little space to get out of my table and she just looked at me and mumbled something and walked away. We are planning not to go here anymore. This particular IHOP really sucks for service and I'm so over it for the price we might as well go to Sizzlers at least there you're getting a meal that is worth your money. My grandson wanted McDonald's and we picked it up on our way to IHOP and I wish that we just ate at McDonald's it would've been cheaper and better. read more
