Hungry and looking for a quick breakfast spot, I stopped by this place located in a nearby plaza. Parking was easy with no issues early in the morning. Service was fast, and my server was friendly and attentive--checking in to make sure everything was to my liking. There was a family beside my table with an overly hyper kid! Otherwise, the place is your typical diner atmosphere. Overall, a solid option for a quick meal and a convenient bonus that it's within walking distance from my place.

Every time we go to this IHOP, burnt to hell pancakes. Why?? If you dine in you will send them back at least once. If you order delivery they will be burnt to oblivion. Their pancakes have good flavor. Why burn them? Again EVERY time.

I hadn't been to a diner, much less a chain diner, in at least a decade. Outside of hangover food, it simply wasn't a thing. And even then I usually went for JITB. Cut to now, and my daughter says she wants birthday pancakes at IHOP. She said she's never been there and wants to try it out. Who am I to say no to a birthday request. It was around 8am on a Saturday, and the place was about 50% full. We were immediately greeted and led to a booth for four. We had a lovely lady as a server. She was busy, but took great care of us. With the coffee, you get an insulated carafe of hot coffee so you don't go thirsty. The only teeny gripe was that we needed more Splenda for the coffee and couldn't get our server's attention. I just grabbed some off another sugar holder. To be fair, she had a ton of tables and never stopped moving. I was pleasantly surprised at the portion size! All of our plates were full, and the food was delicious. Way better than I expected. The fries were crisp, the bacon cooked nicely, the Cinnabon pancakes were phenomenal, and the fried chicken sandwich filling. As for ambience, well, there's not much to see unless you people watch. But if you're in good company then this is a comfy place to grab a bite.

Oh my--this place was packed on a Sunday morning! Every table was full, but the wait for our party of five was surprisingly quick. Our server was super sweet and made the experience even better. We came in for a simple pancake fix, and they totally delivered--fluffy, delicious, and a big hit with the kids. They especially loved being able to try out the different syrup flavors on the table, which made breakfast feel extra fun. Despite how busy it was, the restaurant stayed clean, including the bathrooms, which I always appreciate. Overall, a lively spot with great food and service--I'd happily come back to this location!

David our server went above and beyond! He got our food on time and noticed we didn't finish our pancakes due to it being slightly undercooked. However, it was no problem they were delicious anyway. Still, David insisted we get another desert order and surprised us with crepes. Thank you for your attentiveness, we will surely be back!

I like their value meal for $7 because it's just the right amount of food for me. I'm not overwhelmed with too much serving. They also offer the bottomless pancakes right now but that's for people with voracious appetite. I like that they have 4 kinds of syrup. I've tried them all and my favorite is the butter pecan! We also tried the fish and chips, crunchy and hot inside. I liked it. And it's made of cod not swai. The French toast was a miss for me, no flavor, just greasy. It's open 24 hours so it can satisfy your late night or early morning cravings. They also give you free pancakes on your birthday if you download their app

Ihop is a chain and there are a lot of them. Some are great, some not so much. This one is excellent. The place is always clean and the service is great. We have dined there. This time we did pick up for a nearby park and had the best time. The food was perfect. We all had different breakfast items. I love their pancakes and eggs with has browns. My grandson wants any special pancake they have at the time and a side of mac and cheese. My husband loves their steak and eggs and always gets a side salad. The food just never fails and the prices are so fair. It is lid friendly and parking is fee. Have a great time

My wife wanted to grab lunch here while we were in the plaza doing some shopping. It been years since I went to a IHop and I never been to this location even though I come to the plaza this place is in a bunch of time. I found parking easily today when we came during lunch time. They were not busy at all so we got seated quick. My wife went with their omelette and also got pancakes as well. She like her food and I went with the Cali Roasted Turkey Melt with fries. I saw that it came with multi grain bread and asked if I could do white toast instead which was fine. I thought the Cali roasted turkey melt was alright but I would say other places have better sandwiches. The service was kind of slow and our waitress disappeared, I went to the front desk to ask for the check and also paid there since the waitress didn't come back to our table.

This I hop is great! Open, late and good vibes. So grateful because Dennys told us they were closed for 30 minutes a 1am, but I hop kindly let us in! Jacob was a great server! Food was delish

Just had brunch here with my family. First of all the food is amazing! As good as I remember it being when I was little, if not better. They have classic favorites like the beef steak omelette that I still dream about, and new healthier alternatives as well. A+++ for the food The service is outstanding. We were seated right away and our server, Rene, was attentive and so kind despite being very busy. The bathrooms are super clean as well as the entire place. Very well kept. Can't wait to come back again for brunch

Deals: Yelp and the ihop app advertise the $9 weekday breakfast deals.... BUT this location seems to have it for $7!!!!! Shhhh------ I don't know why it's $2 less... just grab it while you can! Check out my pic that shows the options---total clutch!!! I've been going because -- $14 to feed two full grown adults?!?!? Look around, you'll probably see me eating at one of the other tables. Service: 5 stars for David, our server- helpful and with a sense of humor... we drink a lot of water and every time he passed he dropped off another cup of water. When my maple bacon pancakes were missing the crumbled bacon on top he didn't bat an eye- he brought me an extra good serving of crumbles. Food: pretty standard iHop, so if you like them, or are into diners, you'll love it, if you are thinking it's gonna be hipster foodie quality stuff, go to a hipster place. I love that they give you a carafe for your coffee or tea- it's one of the draws to come here for me. The french toast is thick and fluffy and not greasy, so this is one of my favorite places to get french toast, with strawberries for me. I normally like country fried steak, but the country steak is actually made with hamburger, so I'd pass on that. November has maple bacon pancakes! I'm addicted. This place is totally dead outside of regular busy breakfast/brunch hours. For a while I couldn't figure out how this place stayed in business because I either came on a weekday morning or some night when I wanted breakfast for dinner, and it was empty. Service can be spotty at off times because of that, but it's never been bad. I'm here for a holiday breakfast at 10:30am and we were the 12th party in line. It's the first time I've seen it completely packed. They use Yelp's texting system, so that's nice, and we were seated way faster than what Yelp predicted. (Yelp said 30 min, we were seated in under 10) Ambiance is like a family diner, very standard iHop- similar to Denny's or Coco's if you have never been. Service was actually faster during this busy time. For those who know me, I always judge a restaurant's restroom. I don't like that it requires a code to enter the two stall women's restroom. But it was fully stocked and very clean despite the busy crowded restaurant, so maybe there is method to their madness. There are a lot of servers and hostesses that speak Spanish, so it's a great place to bring Abuela to.

Got the breakfast sampler pick up, to go. Came with a lot of food. There was actually a really good deal of you order it through Postmates. Cheaper than ordering directly from the restaurant. Got the hash browns extra crispy, blueberry pancakes and the scrambled eggs with cheese. Everything was pretty good, no complaints. Fast pick up, was really in about 10 minutes. Very nice on a busy Saturday morning.

Classic Brunch Vibes with a Local Crowd I stopped by the IHOP in Northridge for a late Sunday brunch, and it was clearly a popular spot--crowded with lots of locals enjoying their weekend meal. Always a good sign! I went for the classic brunch combo--fluffy pancakes with their original syrup (simple and delicious), crispy hashbrowns, sunny-side up eggs, and bacon. The hashbrowns had a perfect golden crunch, and a splash of Tabasco took them up a notch. I also tried the strawberry waffles--beautiful presentation, but the red syrup wasn't my favorite. A bit too sweet for me personally, but waffle fans might still enjoy it. Overall, it was a solid brunch experience, quick service despite the crowd, and a cozy spot for a relaxed weekend meal.

The food is good but the waitress takes a long time to come and check if you need anything else. I ask her for strawberry jam for my pancakes and never came back. My pancakes are cold already and I wanted more orange juice. It's not busy. It was a Wednesday morning badddd. The waitress need to go around more often and check if we need anything else. read more

IHOP is just an IHOP unless your hostess and server is named Angel. We had thee best customer service we've had in a long time from Angel. From her greeting at the front door to her excellent food recommendations and the speed and attentiveness to all the customers, she deserves five stars and a raise. read more

I was at the restaurant with my family on Sunday of last, I believe it was the 6th. We witnessed and heard what seemed like a manager being yelled at and talked down inappropriately. This made the restaurant very uncomfortable as the woman which I assume is his superior loudly used inappropriate and degrading language for an unnecessarily long time. To the point where my wife and 2 kids had to leave. My family and I frequent this IHOP and this wasn't the first time I witness this particular female employee verbally reprimand an employee inappropriately. read more

Waiters are rude and the whole place is really dirty. When I went to the restroom I passed by a waiter station that had utensils sitting in old dirty bins, Also I got a glimpse of the kitchen at the same place and you can see the mold and dirty dishes everywhere read more

I was really craving a chicken fried steak breakfast this Sunday and decided to do IHOP. The food was at best Lukewarm by the time it got delivered to me. No butter for the pancakes and cold gravy for the steak. I'm a fan of IHOP and maybe they had an off day so I'll give them another shot. read more

The food was really good. The waitress was excellent. The ambiance was fine. The only reason I am writing this review is because the receptionist chased us down in the parking lot. Accused us of not paying and threatened that she would be turning in our license plate. We paid cash and an employee picked up our check BEFORE we left. We wanted to make sure they got it. We had to go back and indeed the employee had our check with our payment. In the future, they should devise a system so that this does not occur. Very embarrassing. Very disappointed. read more

3.99 for a very small cup of coffee. So that's $16 for 4 cups of coffee. And you haven't ordered any food yet. They use mugs that are about half the size as normal restaurant mugs. Service was fine, everyone was polite, and the food tasted fine. Very small portions for the price. I know it's the growing trend now. $12 for a medium breakfast burrito. When you look at six dollars a half, it's just ridiculous. read more

Who doesn't love a 24/7 ihop. This is a great spot whether or not it's 10am or 12pm. The breakfast options are good and will have your tastebuds satisfied. They also have some great dinner options as well which will have you satisfied. Service is good as the staff will make sure your needs are met. read more

Went there for a late night dinner. Waited 15 minutes for someone to come out of the kitchen to seat us. Server was nice. Menu prices have gone way up. Menu items at IHOP are now comparable to much higher quality restaurants. I would definitely go to Joes cafe for breakfast over IHOP any day. read more

I've never known IHOP was open at night but after dining at this location I'm hooked. I just moved to this area and they have a great menu but my go to is the strawberry lemonade splasher with the big steak omelette and double blueberry pancakes. My server Heather was very attentive and funny. I never had to ask for a refill and each time I come she delivers outstanding customer service. I'm hoping when I come in for my usual that she is the one serving me! read more

Where to begin... Well, since the "pandemic" started, they offered a Family Breakfast To Go which my kids love: Pancakes or Waffles, Eggs, Bacon or Sausage, and Hashbrowns. What could go wrong? Service. From trying to call in our order (either no one answers or the phone doesn't work), ordering online (for some reason, the online ordering doesn't have all food and/or options, such as crispy bacon since they only have two setting: practically raw or burnt), or waiting to be seated or waiting at your table for anyone to notice you. So many times, they have "forgotton" our order. And we order inside and sit and wait for it. Today was no exception. The lady in front of me ordered. Then I did. We waited around 20 minutes, and she received her order. I waited 10 more minutes and the one who took my order noticed I was still sitting there. He asked my name again. Went to check on my order... I got the feeling they forgot about it because he came out and said, "Give me one more minute. Did you want a drink while you wait?" which was nice, but I just wanted to get home to feed my kids. About another 10 minutes later, he brings out my order. I get home, one of the boxes popped open (luckily the food didn't fall out), and the only request I had for the food was crispy bacon. The bacon was raw. I had to cook it once I got home. The whole time I was there, I was looking around at people being seated. One couple was seated in the front. No one came to serve them. A bigger group sat next to them. No one served them either. The couple was there for about 20 minutes before the bigger group sat down. read more

For the spicy tuna on crispy rice, the rice was burnt, and the bottom had a greasy, burger-style residue that didn't work with the sushi--making the whole bite feel unpleasant rather than balanced. The miso soup was also extremely salty. I specifically asked for seaweed, but it never arrived. I also ordered the lemon roll. Some people describe sushi as "melting in your mouth," but in this case it felt more blended and mashed than properly prepared--disappointing in both texture and quality. By the end of the meal, I felt genuinely sick from the food. Overall, I left upset because I was really hoping for a fresh, enjoyable experience, and instead the quality and flavors were consistently off. I wouldn't recommend this visit until the ingredients and preparation are improved. The ambiance was crowded and horrible.

Mildred was our server when we went to dinner last night. It wasn't busy at all -- maybe 3 booths were occupied. My partner ordered an egg white omelette with dry toast and fruit. Instead, she was brought a regular omelette with rye toast, no fruit. She had to ask her TWICE to bring her what she ordered. I ordered the senior chicken strips with fries which came with garlic bread and salad. I had to ask for the salad, garlic bread and a side of honey mustard sauce TWICE as well. Give us a break!!! How difficult is it to place an order? We're sure Mildred HEARD us but didn't LISTEN. Again, the place wasn't all that busy (it was way before 5:00) when we entered and it still wasn't all that busy when we left slightly before 6:00. I had a fantastic experience at IHOP Northridge! My server, George, was outstanding -- incredibly nice, attentive, and thoughtful. He checked on me multiple times to make sure I was doing well, but he did it in such a respectful way that he never interrupted while I was working on my laptop and speaking with customer support. That kind of awareness and professionalism really stood out to me. The manager, Marlyn, also made an excellent impression. She was polite, professional, and genuinely kind when she came by to check in. It's clear that the staff here truly care about their guests. This ihop is always great whenever I go. I prefer the patio dining experience so I went when outside dining was opened. I ordered the strawberry banana french toast and it was soooo yummy!! Best service with the best servers. One of the members, Josue, was great. He was so attentive and brought back our food fast and warm.
