I am hoping this review gets to the higher level somehow. Our family usually 4-7 of us were eating breakfast here twice or so a week. The past three visits the food and coffee have all been cold. We come first thing in the morning and still cold. It makes me sad because we've voiced that it's a problem but there haven't been any changes. We stopped here the last time we stayed in Owasso. Very interesting experience. Placed seemed almost like it was closed. Took a bit to get seated. When we did, it was tight next to a booth where an individual was sitting with someone but looking at their phone and the volume was on the highest setting. We waited for a while before someone came to take our order. I'll say the servers were all a bit sketchy. Placed order and it till a minute to get to us. I believe I ordered some toast and it came to table burnt. Another waitress noticed and got a new piece of. Came here on a Saturday morning. It was fairly busy and we were seated by the corner since we had a toddler. Place was a bit dirty and table was a bit sticky. They gave us a coloring page/kids menu with 2 crayons to keep the little one busy. We had asked for a high chair and weren't given one until the 3rd time of us asking. Food: I had the steak omelette. It was delicious with plenty of steak inside. It had mushrooms, hash browns, onions, steak, and tomatoes inside. I asked for fruits for my side and received old inedible fruit. 6/10 rating My husband had steak and sunny side up eggs. The few times I've been in, the staff are always polite and proficient, but the food is just overwhelmingly average. For my crew, IHOP is usually a destination when it's post-9pm, and some function or other has kept us from dining any sooner in the evening. Let me be clear... the food is not bad. Out of the IHOPs I have been to, this one is the worst. T-Bone steak came very well done. Toughest steak I've ever had in my life. Pancakes that I ordered were burnt. The mango iced tea didn't taste right, like something was off. Took long awhile to get the food we ordered even tho there was barely anyone eating there at the time we went. We've never had a bad experience the only thing I would like to mention though so others can be cautious is that the same night after using my debit card to pay for our meal I had about 1,000 dollars worth of fraudulent charges. Order apps & food, I go wash my hands...I tried anyway. I walked into ladies bathroom and was hit by a wall of stink like no other. I mean seriously. Not an incident, this is full on toxic warfare to the pint I can't even get to the sink. I wish this was an exaggeration but it's So I go to the table, germ-x the hell out of myself & tell our server about the situation. He disappears. 10+ minutes....no sever. Coffee carafes are empty. At 15 minutes I ask another server to fill our carafes. @ 20-25 minutes, entrees are brought out by a silent server & his helper. Plates are handed out with their fingers touching the food. I ask about our missing apps--a sampler and an order of cheese sticks. He says he must have forgotten. Hey buddy, that's why there's pen & paper that you write it down with. Also, I watched him write it down. I ate a couple of bites of my omelette but it was cold & the "meat" was worse than jerky. Seriously disgusting & when I emailed them, they invited to go there again. The two waitresses and one hostess spent their whole time in the kitchen and obviously were too busy to serve our food before it got cold to our table of three and the only other diners there a table of two. My bacon cheeseburger burger with mayo came out with neither. That is one table per waitress and who knows what the hostess/manager was there for and they couldn't even manage even halfway decent service. The cook couldn't manage cooking five meals either. I went to Ihop with a table of thirteen I know thats a little much but we were all at a party the night before and we were hungry. We got to the stable and they got us our drinks they messed up two but some people ordered three drinks so they just fixed of and they were good. When people wanted to put sugar in there coffee but they didn't put a lot of it on the table. We waited about fifteen minutes for the food. I asked for a breakfast sandwich which I knew IHOP had before... He said that I was stupid and there was no such thing as a breakfast sandwich... We ate at the IHOP in Owasso on Tuesday, March 30th at 3:00 PM. It was deserted as there were only five customers in the restaurant, which includes my party of three. The service was basically nonexistent. I looked for our waitress numerous times throughout our meal, to no avail. It took almost 10 minutes to receive our drinks. When our food arrived, my order was incorrect, therefore, it was sent back. We had to ask numerous times for items we needed such as syrup (all three of us had pancakes,) picante sauce, and napkins. While eating the second bite of my pancakes, a big chunk of something chewy stuck to my teeth. It was a fairly large piece of cardboard. Turns out, there were multiple pieces of cardboard in the pancakes. GROSS! The waitress apologized and offered to have the pancakes remade. Our drinks remained empty most of the time. When it came time to pay, the waitress left our bill on the table, never to return. I had to go to the kitchen to find someone in order to pay our bill. I had to say "excuse me" three times in order to get the manager's attention. I spoke to him regarding the issue of having cardboard pieces in my pancakes. It didn't seem to matter to him at all. His response was "uh, okay" followed by a blank stare. After he realized I wasn't accepting his comment and lack of concern, he then offered to have my pancakes remade. I suggested he may want to check the pancake batter to ensure no one else orders pancakes & receives a cardboard surprise. I have to say, we frequent IHOP because I like their vanilla cream & strawberry crepes. We know to expect our food to be cold. We have to send items back constantly to be reheated or just eat it cold. In addition, it is very seldom that an order is cooked correctly. If the crepes are ever discontinued, we will definitely never return. read more
