This IHOP is the best 24-hour diner around. The servers are outstanding - OUTSTANDING - and the coffee is always great and the food is delicious. Delicious. Everything is good here. The managers are so friendly, and the wait staff is insanely attentive, especially at night. I'd recommend the pumpkin pancakes, the breakfast sampler, the viva la french, the bacon and egg burger (10/10), and my personal favorite, the double BLT, on Texas toast, with extra seasoning on the fires and a side of ranch dressing. read more

We just left after sitting for 10 minutes with no one coming to our table. About 10 staffers during that time walked past our table with one even greeting us. The staff were openly complaining about being overstaffed and joking about "this is my last table. I'm leaving after this." Our last IHOP experience was a local location was also terrible to the point I left without eating, and the while ordeal took about 2 hours to not get ehat I ordered and what they brought out was inedible. The only reason we gave IHOP another try was because we wrote to the manager and they gave us a gift card asking us to give it another try. Never again. Don't waste your time and money. read more

Okay, where do I start. My husband ordered steak and eggs, eggs over hard with Swiss cheese melted on the eggs, toast dry not cut and fries instead of hashbrowns. The eggs came out over medium, he got hashbrowns and pancakes instead of toast came to the table. We told the runner this was not his order. They took back the eggs and pancakes. He had to wait 20 minutes for his eggs and toast to come back. By then the steak became shoe leather. My order was the steak dinner with a salad. My dinner came to the table but no salad. The salad came to the table 20 minutes later. Needless to say we won't be back at this IHOP location any time soon. The manager refused to comp us anything. He just said well things like this happen all the time. read more

If I could give a negative I would.. I have been here a few times and today I was there and the service was horrible probably the worst I have ever gotten at IHOP. It started out with a coupon I had on my phone they wouldn't honor it ok I understand but then I got my food and there was hair in it! When I gave the waiter back my food she didn't even say sorry she grabbed it and left when the manager came to ask what happened she rolled her eyes at me when I told her there was hair in my food, and she just kept saying the cooks wear hair nets... If they wear hair nets then why is there hair in my food? After that I was disgusted and I will never go back here and I did call corporate about the way I was treated here today. The only girl that was nice was the one that rung me up she was very apologetic and I appreciated that. read more

Sunday Jan. 13,2013 I wanted to take IHOP survey. Tisk Tisk they cut off IHOP survey id. Sunday morning taking nephew to O'Hare. seated right away , busy but service quick and the food came hot and quick. very good. On the survey i wanted to Compliment the people there. Friendly . Our waitress made my morning. Maria R polite accommodating and very friendly. Always asking how everything is going and if we needed anything! this ihop is definetly the best restraunt in general that i have ever been to. It might just be a bias though, because i've been going there for 5 years. Whoever said that the mall was the hangout spot for teens was sorely mistaken. No no, the rosemont ihop is where most teenagers from my area go. This may be because of the excellent service or the "neverending cup of coffee" for $1.30, or it may be because it is the one spot where we can go and sit for hours. I can't tell you how many times i've been in situations where my friends and i are stuck with nothing to do at 3 in the morning, with a limited amount of cash. And because of their 24 hour service, and low prices, its always the place to go. We've gone there so much that they know us by name! And all of the staff is friendly, cooperative, and i never have to worry about someone spitting in my food! :) read more

We went to IHOP for breakfast we were seated waitress was nice , all downhill from there waited one hour and 10 minutes for our food we told the waitress to cancel our order, that is rediculos amount of time to wait for eggs plenty of places around to eat breakfast will never return there , cant tell you about the food never got it , if anything like the service it would be bad read more

Wow I love that place, I love omlet that they serve. Saturday morning is the busiest day of all. If you plan go there on Saturday or Sunday morning be prepared for wait time. O well, it means people like that place and that's why it is crowded. Food tastes delicious. read more

Total disappointment. Family gathering of 11. Understaffed. Food cold upon arrival. Food less than mediocre. Still there were long lines on a Sunday to partake of this locations offerings. We stopped here for breakfast the other morning instead of going to the one closer to our house which is just okay. I had a coupon for buy one entree, get one free with purchase of 2 drinks. We both ordered the platter with 2 pancakes, 2 french toast, 2 eggs, 2 bacon and 2 sausage. I had enough to take home. The whole restaurant was very clean (no sticky syrup pitchers here), the staff was friendly and attentive and the food was very good. We'll be back even without a coupon. read more

I wish I didn't even have to leave a star. YOUR FOOD WILL BE COLD if there's a party before you. Sunday crew here is horrible..they have got our entire order wrong, two times! Have things sent back to get it back the same way this time just warmed up. Our food was so cold the butter on my bread wouldn't even melt. No one seemed to care our waitress stopped coming to our table after we had our orders sent back. Sat there for over half hour waiting until we gave up and had to cash ourselves out. Be prepared to wait just for messed up and cold orders because they only have 2 waitresses on the clock. Worst service Iv ever experienced. Turns out there manager doesn't even show up for his/her shift so we couldn't even complain to someone if we wanted to. read more

I can't believe people rated it higher than a one. I would rate this place -10 the food is horrible. I recently went there about a week ago with my boyfriend we had a few things on the menu. one was the veggie omelette with bacon which tasted horrible. I only had a bite and couldn't force myself to eat anymore of it. I felt bad cause I was thought never to waste food. It tasted like it was reheated it was disgusting. Then I had the sirloin tip breakfast meal which was also disgusting. I also ordered a cup of fruit and it didn't make it's way to my table. We thought McDonald would've been a better choice. MCDONALDS!! That's sad. The staff was horrible mostly everyone was on their phone or being unprofessional. It took about 15 min for the waiter to even notice we were there. I would never step foot in this place ever again. They need to retrain their employees to be professional and not act like their in high school In their lunchroom shouting to each other across the room like animals. read more

The food was tasty and most of the staff was friendly and helpful. Our waitress, Joyce, was another story. She was nice enough but came off cold. Towards the end of our meal, she came by and grabbed our plates and said "Done done done. Your drink good?" But took our plates before we could even confirm we were done. I live around the corner from this particular Ihop and visit it once a week for a breakfast date with my hubby. I enjoy the wait staff and never had a horrible food experience. I enjoy the low calorie breakfast options and "must have" turkey bacon. I cant say much about lunch or dinner items because I dont believe i have had anything off the menu pass the first 3 pages :) As far as Ihop's go this one is great read more

This Saturday night I went with my friends to IHOP in Rosemont after homecoming around 11pm, I ordered 3 Buttermilk Pancakes with two Turkey Bacon strips. Our service was okay the waitress was kind, however when they brought out our food they kept messing up our orders which is understanding because there were a lot of people from my school. This was my first time going to the IHOP in Rosemont and I had heard about good things from my friends. We were seated right away so that was good. The waiter came to our table immediately and had served us some water and took our order. The food took so long to get to our table. I believe we had to wait like 40 or so minutes. All in all the food was excellent. However, when taking my order the waiter was a bit rude and had cut me off while I was ordering. Also every time a waiter came to refill our water they would give us another straw. By the time we had left we had a mountain of unused straws just piling up on our table.
