I'm in town for a weekend convention. I came here for breakfast Saturday and when I walked in, I was instantly greeted by a server (Caroline) as if I were family. She greeted everyone who walked out like that, and also when you leave. She continued to treat me like that the whole time. She's one of the nicest people I've ever met. I came in Sunday morning for breakfast and she greeted me by name, which surprised me. She was the same friendliness the whole time and when I left she asked for a hug, and gave me a warm, home-type hug. Her service was an 11/10. The food was really good, too. Way better than other Denny's I've had. In addition to the 2 breakfasts I also stopped in for supper Saturday night. Really great service and food then too. Date of visit: July 15, 2025 We had to drop off some family for an early flight and had a couple hours before it was time for our flight so we found one of the only places open at 5 a.m., Denny's! Neither of us could recall the last time we actually had been to a Denny's, but it didn't take us long to find menu items and our server, Erica B, was wonderful. I was a bit surprised that it wasn't totally dead in the joint given the time, but they had a good crowd of early morning folks and Erica handled them all well. My omelet was good and she kept the coffee coming, which I appreciated. Really the only missteps were around maintenance: - The bathroom did not appear to have been cleaned in a while. - Our table had a promotional sticker on the edge of the table that was more peeled off than remaining--I would have finished the job but knew my husband would not have approved of me doing so! read more

They have bugs like beetles and stuff crawling around on their windows and next to my husband today And today they closed up two booths, due to those bugs When I talked to our waitress, she told me that she told her managers and they said that there's nothing they can do So I spoke to the manager there (might've been named Donna and I believe the other one's named Sue) ; and Donna said they've had three visits already from the exterminator, and and the exterminator and there's nothing they can do! I'm sorry, but I can't stay at a restaurant that feels there's nothing they can do to get rid of bugs! So what else you're not telling us about?! Obviously their exterminator is no good and they need to find a new one and they definitely need to shut the restaurant down and stop feeding people in a restaurant that is bug ridden! read more

My daughters were stranded in Chicago, flight got cancelled at 12:30 am and couldn't find a hotel. They sat at Denny's for 4 hours and never were made to feel like they needed to leave. I can honestly say that the I have been to a lot of Denny's locations but this one is by far the best ever. The food was amazing, fresh, cooked perfectly and delicious. On our way out of Rosemont, we were looking for a breakfast spot. We decided to stop here. We've been to a few Denny's over the years, so we pretty much knew what to expect, but we were wrong. First of al, our waitress, Caroline, was amazing. She moved around from table to table the right amount of times. She greeted people and seemed to have regular customers. She remembered them and knew to ask, in one case, about their dog, and hugged another family that apparently was going through some tough situation. I haven't even mentioned the good which was way beyond the usual eggs and hash browns. Scrambled eggs were perfect, the hash browns had cheese and grilled onions which gave them a delicious taste. I was picking up a order for uber eats and the staff said at first that it wasn't ready, and after about 10 minutes of waiting I approached them once more for them to say that they can't find a order ticket and they don't know what to do. We like coming to this location even though it's further away from home than the one on Harlem because the staff is attentive and nice. Plus I think their menu had a bit more selection. Of course I forgot to snap a photo. Maybe next time we're here. I am usually happy w whatever I order especially the breakfast items. They do have a Childrens menu as well. My partner had the mozzarella cheese sticks, onion rings, and french fry platter with a side of French toast, strawberry lemonade and vanilla shake.The bill was 51 bucks of waste. Didn't bother to complain about it as nothing could be remedied., the steak was tolerable the corn and mashed potatoes obviously were reheated and served, the french fry and mozzarella cheese stick also obviously reheated and served . I have been going to Dennys on river road for many years and truly enjoy the service and food at this location. The staff always make me feel very welcomed. Also love that they celebrate all seasons. Here's what I gotta say (at the location I dined at) : Nice server, clean environment, food made when order put through, nice presentation, price wise way better than I-Hop, not a big variety of menu items. Double Berry Pancake Breakfast 7/10, pancakes amazing loved them couldn't eat all because I got full quick. Hash brown okay not the worst wish were crispier. Bacon 2/10. Eggs 2/10, no comment. Build your own sampler 6/10. Wings has good sauce but we're way to salty for some reason, seasoned fries were semi seasoned and not sure why there was an extra charge when that's what they said they were called on the menu. Onion rings 8/10, good crispy and onions don't fall out when you bite into them. Free refills for drinks. For a quick bite for two people coming out to $26 I'd say it's not bad and worth it. read more

This place sucks. I was here in late January 2024 and was the 2nd customer in the place. I ordered French toast and a coke. I get pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage and toast. The only thing correct was the coke. I asked the waiter what is this and he said with a real shitty attitude it's what I ordered. Excuse me, yeah I ordered French toast, not this!! I'm not walking out without paying because you're going to call the cops saying that I'm dining and dashing. I said to myself that I'm never going back again and I didn't until last night. My wife and I went there last night July 14 2024 ONLY because I had a $25 gift card to use. The food was fine, nothing special. Then I goto pay. The bill was $35. I give the cashier a $20 plus my $25 gift card. Yes I called and checked the balance on the card just prior to walking in so I knew that there was $25 on it. I tried a bunch of times to use the gift card but their system kept saying that the card wasn't recognized. 15 minutes later after being told that the computer system was down, and none of the employees knew how to use a gift card I had to demand several times to get my $20 cash and gift card back. I should've just walked out because this is a problem on their end. After finding getting my stuff back I paid with my debit card WITH NO PROBLEMS!!!! I always Denny's and good thing about Denny's is you can trust non drive thru locations and yet your food is super fast on your table ready to eat. Secondly, anything you order from the menu is super fresh. The best Denny's yet,our food was hot and u can tell the cook makes sure the food is good ,tasty and hot,the waiter the young late night waiter takes care of the whole front by himself,he doesn't make a mistake u can tell he take pride in his job to make the customers feel welcome. Our waiter was very attentive. Even bringing me a refill when she noticed my glass was empty, without my asking.
