First of all the service was good. No complaints there but the restaurant is way to cold inside probably because the heat was not on and it's 50degrees outside. So of course my food was cold when it arrived at my table. Also the smell inside is horrid. It smells like trash and mildew. Not a smell I want while eating breakfast. For a Mothers Day Sunday, at lunchtime, at a site next to the interstate, they did a fine job. I think they have some process issues that I doubt the workers have any control over. I ordered online and when we picked up our order it was not complete. The young woman at the hostess stand expedited the missing items and we went on our way. I am glad their team showed up to work and I'm willing to bet many of them wished they had called in. The service industry is a hard job and customers should remember that the workers are not any happier than their customers when things don't go the way we wish they would. read more

If you have any food allergies, be careful when eating here. I have Celiac disease and ordered GF pancakes. I've had these GF pancakes at an IHOP closer to home several times. But this time, I was served protein powder pancakes--full of wheat, rye, barley, and oats. It will take me days to recover. Recommended with caution. Service can be spotty at this place -- ranging from horrible to excellent. And the same can be said for the quality of entrees. I've eaten here off and on over the past several years when I am in the Savannah area and am able to make this statement based on my experiences. Generally, if you visit during the early morning hours, breakfast CAN be pretty good. If you visit any other time, you run the risk of poor service, excuses (sorry, we don't have that in stock right now) to horrible food. We visited a few days ago to take advantage of the holiday time offering of turkey dinner. It was very poor quality. The cook took small chunks of chopped up turkey (out of a can I presume) and heated them in a microwave. Broccoli was the substitute for green beans because they didn't have the latter in stock. Mashed potatoes were not warm, and we had to ask the waitress three times to bring us gravy for them. When she did so, the gravy was clumped up (heated in a, you guessed it, microwave). Our waitress had trouble answering any questions and understanding our order. I realize these places are not able to hire the best and the brightest for obvious reasons. But our server truly had issues with very few neurons firing. If you're traveling I-95 during the 2014 holiday season and want the IHOP turkey diner experience, try the one just off of exit 36 from I-95 (Brunswick). I have been suffering with gastric issues lately and have been on a limited diet. I said that to say, I had to eat lightly or hurt, so I ordered healthy or so I thought! I ordered Talapia, wild rice and broccoli. Since we were the only ones in the restaurant I thought for sure the food would come quickly, it did not. When the food finally came I inspected but started in. After a few bites I noticed the broccoli, rotten and steamy. Not just a little, fresh out of the kitchen, into the hands of our lovely waitress then to us. I asked for a manager, they sent a lovely young lady to remedy the situation and offer another entree. We ordered a chicken sandwich and fries which came out quickly and we'll done. I asked the waitress to remove the plate with the broccoli, smell it and take it to the kitchen to the cook to see and smell as well. I said I would never visit this location, but I did. I should've gone with my first mind. We arrived around 2:15pm today 10/30/21 and there were 3 employees outside twerking making tik tok videos. (2 females one guy) when we went in they had come back In and were serving plates, I don't they even had enough time to wash their hands. We waited about ten minutes, i had to go up to the counter and ask for service because all of the employees were twerking in the back left hand corner of the restaurant. We finally got served, but then an argument broke out between management and staff. It was about customer service ironically. This location is ghetto, and not to mention some sketchy characters hang around outside the area. The owner needs to clean house and rehire. read more

This place just reopened after being closed for renovations. We went in and didn't notice any visible changes. The server at the front promptly greeted us and instructed us to seat wherever we liked. She came to the table immediately and brought beverages. We were able to order easily and our food was out in less than fifteen minutes. We ordered the spicy poblano omelet, grits, belgian waffle and toast to share. This restaurant gives a silverware packet and disposable condiments. The silverware only had a fork so you have to request a butter knife for toast and cutting your waffle. You have to request a spoon to stir your coffee or hot chocolate. One other thing is the temperature in the restaurant was pretty cold and we kept our jackets on and noticed the other customers did as well. We mentioned it to our server and she was polite and apologetic but we got the feeling she wasn't able to do anything about it personally. Danille was our waitress and did a really nice job. There was only one other table in the restaurant and they were only there for a few minutes. so I was unsure why it took as long as it took for our food. I figured it out quickly when I went to the dirty nasty restroom, they were all standing by the kitchen on their phones. As a business owner myself, I honestly think that cell phones should be banned from workplaces. I think they should have to keep them in their vehicles when they work. The restaurant was horribly horribly dirty. But instead of cleaning it they're too busy on their phones. And that included the manager. Only person that I saw attempting to clean the place was our waitress Danielle. The worst part was when we left the restaurant. U.S. and our five kids and there's two punks one who works at the restaurant standing outside the door smoking and swearing. When my husband had to run back into the restaurant to get a cup that my daughter forgot, there were more guys out there cussing and swearing. all but one worked there. But the one that didn't work there really should not have been there visiting his friend. I'm not sure what is wrong with our country anymore. I wondered how it had taken so long when there was only one other customer in the place. My pancakes didn't come until sometime later after I had nearly finished the eggs and bacon. My five year old can down with debilitating diarrhea about 24 hours later. He's lost a lot of weight and looks pretty thin after two days of the runs. Went to the IHOP in Pooler the other day with my daughter. There were only 5 tables with 2 to 3 people per table. one guy and two women were waiting tables. Service was slow, but that is anywhere anymore. Placed our order, again took for ever. Didn't bring out my whole order at once, brought out the toast after I had eaten about a 1/3 of my breakfast, ok. About half way through the meal, our waitress had gone MIA. Finally she shows up again, my daughter ask for a refill of her UNsweet tea, she is diabetic. After about 10 more minutes, she brings 2 glasses of tea and sets them on the table. My daughter took a drink and it was Sweetened tea. I checked mine in case there was a mix up but before I tasted it, I saw a piece of paper (the corner off a salt packet) floating in my tea, I called her back over and when I picked it up to show her, I noticed more paper trash in the bottom of the glass, a straw wrapper, the rest of the salt packet and the paper wrapper from the flatware. I showed the waitress and she grabbed the glass and started to walk away, I told her I wanted the manager to see that mess. After several minutes the manager came strolling over and said "so I hear you had a little salt in your tea" I set her straight on WHAT was in the glass, the waitress obviously never showed her. so I set her straight right away. She said "well the dishwasher must have caused it to stick to the bottom of the glass and the waitress didn't see it, If that is the case, they have a BIG problem with the dishwasher, how well is it cleaning,? Yet she had to scoop ice into the glass and fill it with tea? She took about half the bill off and acted like it was nothing new and maybe it's not! The only thing the waitress said to us on our way out was, it has been a very busy day..... 5 tables is busy and it was only noon? No I did not leave a tip, I usually tip very well, I was so angry that this kind of filth was served to us without an apology from any of them at all! There is a sign on the door, face covering is required. NONE of the wait staff was wearing the mask over their nose and only half covering their mouth, the manager when she came strolling out was not wearing one at all. Personally I think the mask is a waste of time, but if you are going to require it, at least do it correctly! I sent my concerns on to the Corp office and have not hear anything back, I guess they don't care either. In this day of Covid, you would think CLEANING would be of the greatest concern of all.
