I mean, it's open! And it had omelettes! We met my brother and his partner here for an Easter breakfast. I ordered a made or order omelette to avoid all of the extras in the omelettes on the menu. It was good, but getting the pancakes as the side was a bit much. I suppose IHOP deserves a middle of the road rating because it's reliable, they have a pretty extensive menu, and the coffee is really good. read more

Their food is just all right. They have no idea the difference between over easy and over hard. My eggs were absolutely runny.. and when I told the waitress that she said well, good news is I didn't make them. We were still eating and she brought us the bill which is not a big deal and she laid it on the table and then she came back five minutes later while we were still eating and said it was time to pay. I think that was pretty rude. She should've waited until we were done. Then my breakfast came with pancakes and we asked about it and she said nope it doesn't and I said well I'm pretty sure I read that it came with pancakes and she said nope and walked away. When the food came out we were asked if there was anything else we needed. I asked for another refill on my drink. It seemed like she got lost getting the refill as long as it took. Also want to mention we were the only people in the restaurant so no excuse for her lack of urgency to refill the drink. Never came back to check on us to make sure things were good. Is checking in on the table something that isn't done anymore. I forgot to ask for hot sauce so I had to hunt it down on my own since she was never to be seen. There is a lot to overcome here. The child hood memories of the ski chalet setting with the restaurant full of booths. The days of the multi syrups warm and on the table are long gone. There is the much better coffee. Upgraded eggs bacon and sausage. The crepes were very good perfectly cooked and served on a separate plate with lygonberry sauce and butter to make it not necessary for syrup. A carafe of coffee makes it so you never have to ask for another cup. It's on the table and waiting for you kept warm. Staffing shortages make it so the wait staff is running around. Not always able to keep up with a water or extra drink request. Not even time for a how is everything here question. The offerings are there maybe a little on the sugary side. Even the seasonal Halloween breakfast was loaded with caramel and chocolate sauce. Just too much even for kids. I might be more accurate with 3.5 stars but the checking in and the fact that the bus person checked me out when they could sense I was ready to get up to look for my waitress. Wow, best service ever. IHOP on Sundays is always a busy place. Today they were short staff, short is and understatement. And regardless of how busy they were their smile never left their face. You could see they were tired and frustrated but never once they show it to a customer. They were the friendliest server I have had in a long time. My fiancé and I got the worst food poisoning we've ever had from this location yesterday. We got the country fried steak and Swedish crepe combo and I suspect it was the sausage in the combo and in the gravy. We spent the whole day (on our vacation) doubled over in a hotel bed and stumbling to the bathroom. Never again, IHOP. read more

Really struggled. Came in with my family. Because my nieces really wanted breakfast for dinner. Not a lot of customers, but the wait staff struggled to check on the tables. 3 times I had to get up walk back towards the kitchen to get the table what we needed as we tried to just catch someone walking by but couldn't and the food was getting cold. They were always very nice and cheerful once I found them. The restaurant was clean and looked nice, but service and food quality struggled. I went to the Wilsonville IHOP and the Hostess Hamida was wonderful very helpful always had a smile on her face and a warm greeting.

The best go to place for pancakes. What more needs to be said? Their food is always consistently good, and on the very rare occasion that an order is wrong, they never repeat the mistake. I personally love their pancakes above any other breakfast place nearby, and they really excel at what they do. IHOP also has fantastic eggs, French toast, waffles, bacon, and all other breakfast items, and all for a price that won't break the bank. They even occasionally leave positive messages on the to go bags, such as "Have a Great Day!". Affordable, excellent food, and they even do delivery. What more could you ask? read more

This is a typical, new, IHOP. The deal is, it is poorly managed. The staff seems determined to have a good time at the expense of the clients. It's nice they're happy, but a little professionalism goes a long way. Today nobody at the hostess stand to get an online pickup order. A gaggle of staff at the back register giggling and having fun. Finally got my online order, $50 for 2 omelettes and 2 orders of pancakes. There was plenty of food when I got home, just not all the sides that the program required I choose. Clearly they were not paying attention to their job. I hate thinking I have to unpack an order to check what's in the bags before I leave. I want to like IHOP, I grew up with IHOP. We went to this IHOP on a Saturday around noon. We got seated quickly and she was friendly. It was not very busy there - less than 10 tables were seated. It was emptier than I would've expected. We reviewed the menu, figured out what we wanted, then waited and waited. No server greeted us or offered to get our drink order. We waited for over 20 minutes with no service and finally decided it was time to leave. We walked out of the restaurant. Never done it before! As we walked out there were a few other people sitting and waiting to order, so I'm glad we left. The table next to us had an issue with their order - I overheard something about biting down on a very hard piece in their pancake which may have been a plate chip . We ended up walking next door to Hops & Drops where we had a pleasant lunch. We may try IHOP again, but it'll be awhile before we go back. Hopefully they are still in business. read more

I will update this review after a few months, because I believe places should get a second chance, but our first visit was a bust. We were a party of 10 so our expectations were already low (we know big groups can be tricky). However, a place like IHOP should know how to manage it. Everyone ordered basic breakfasts and one person in our group had a burger. It took over 45 minutes to get out food. We ordered at 10:45 and at 11:20 we asked about our order and they said it was "on the way". It finally got to us at 11:35! Half of the entrees were cold, my over medium eggs had uncooked whites. Our server was super nice and apologetic but she's got to figure out how to manage her section better. Also, as a former server, I would have had my manager go to the table and acknowledge the situation. They are newly opened and I think they will work out the kinks, but 90 minutes for breakfast at a chain like IHOP is not good. read more

Currently at IHOP sitting at a table. My mom and I have been waiting for our food 30 minutes already and no one has checked on us since we ordered. We asked 10 minutes ago if someone could check on our food. They never returned to us and she's been avoiding eye contact with me... can't say much about the food quality since I've yet to taste it. Update: After an hour of waiting for our food I can tell you that it's not worth it. Our fries were overcooked. My mom's hash browns were burnt. And my crepes have a weird taste to them... On June 11th at 6:02AM, my children and I arrived at IHOP to begin a tradition my mom started with me when I was young. We were on the last full day of school, so we woke up at 5:15AM, got ready for school and the Oregon Trail Field Trip. We were hoping to fuel up on Hot Chocolate and Eggs Benedict, but no sir! After waiting a few minutes with nobody appearing from the back, but hearing Blink 182 playing loudly in the back - I walked back into the kitchen to say hi. A nice young guy turned down the music and told me that unfortunately the servers were both running about 30 minutes late so far and he had no idea when they would be in. He apologized for the inconvenience and wished us well. We headed over to Shari's. We were seated as soon as we walked and had our food within 12 minutes. Oh well! First time I gave grace, but when you finally get someone's attention like a manager, for drinks and they still take 15 minutes just to get you drinks, that's when the grace fades. My family stopped by on a Saturday evening. there was only 1 host/server and the manager was cooking in the back. I assumed the labor shortage hit here too. Our host, Timothy, explained the staffing situation and said it could take awhile to get the food out. We said we would wait. It did take longer than usual, but since we knew ahead of time we were not impatient. And the food was excellent! Place was dead and no one came back to answer my questions. Had to get up and request more coffee. Other patrons were also angry. The best service you can get!!! The restaurant was very short staffed but they made it work. The food came out hot and was super good!
