Even when presenting us with our check, did not ask how everything was particularly when it was obvious that the eggs were uneaten. This also in the context of the restaurant not being very busy where you might forgive a server who is neglectful due to other tables. I'm sure the quality and service is normally fine as I see other reviews saying so, but as a first impression my experience was very disappointing.

Kat sat us down and even took the time to close the blinds so the sun wouldn't be shining in our eyes. She promptly brought us coffee and water and made us feel welcome. One thing that really stood out was when one of her regular customers came in. Kat already remembered his usual order and repeated it back to him just in case he wanted something different that morning. That small interaction really showed how much she cares about her customers. She came back to our table, took our order with a smile, and provided great service throughout our visit. The food was great--big, hearty portions, good quality, and very fairly priced for the amount of food you get. We will definitely be coming back! The seats of some of the booths and the chairs were torn, with no distinguishable repair even attempted. What was once a pie case, was filled with handbags and wallets that they must be trying to sell from there. Really great opportunity to fix this place up with primarily a lot of elbow grease, but on this particular Saturday morning, I have to say, they had a lot of customers. There aren't any other sitdown diners in this immediate area, but honestly, with their food, prices, and excellent staff, they could likely bring people in from all over, but really need to do the work to clean this place up before I would return.

Pretty sure it was from pre-breaded frozen, and it was not crispy... just mushy. Gravy tasted like it was out of a can too. The garlic bread (ordered instead of biscuit) was good, at least. I had to flag her down 10 mins later for her to go get it for me. When she delivered my breakfast she said she would be right back with the biscuits and gravy. Doh!! No worries. I ate it all as I was super hungry. I will be back for breakfast again soon.
