We were celebrating my grandfathers birthday with some pizza and let him choose the place. He chose Pizza Time over in Conshy. They have a Sicilian special (pepperoni, sausage, olives, mushrooms, and green peppers) for under $20! (It was $18.82) Parking isn't great in the area because there's a bar right next door; I basically had to park on the corner to run in and grab my order. And when you walk in, directly to the left is a steep ramp so be careful! I wasn't expecting it and was caught a bit off guard! The people who work there are a bit quirky, but the pizza was good. (And heavy too, the box weighed at least 5 lbs, no exaggeration!) My grandfather has ordered here two other times (same pizza) and has not had any issues! Worth a try if you are nearby! read more

How can you not like a place called "Pizza Time Saloon"? They've been in business since 1984, serving lunch, dinner, with cold beer for purchase. Last I checked, they're open 7 days a week, from 11 to 11 at night, and offer delivery. I had lunch here with family on a Saturday awhile ago. We sat in the main room, and it wasn't crowded. This casual spot offers a lot of seating and there are private rooms available for parties. Their menu offers many Italian choices, including pizza. We shared a few gourmet pizzas, including their Whopper pizza ($14; with Russian dressing, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mozzarella cheese, and ground beef) which was pretty tasty. I'll be back to try their other pizzas - check them out for yourself! read more

I feel bad... The staff are incredibly nice and the hoagies are good. The pizza wasn't that great .... But on the positives, they are open beyond typical dinner hours and they are super quick with getting your order ready. I will definitely be back when in the area, and who knows maybe I just caught the pizza on a bad day. Though after a few days eating my way through NYC, 2 things are apparent: 1. These folks are way nicer than any of the shop keepers in NYC 2. Pretty decent pizza place. Living pretty close to it is always convenient because we can walk to pick up our order, which is always done within twenty minutes! The pizza is pretty good, a little on the chewier side but it's not bad. I tend to prefer that over super crunchy and crispy pizza so it's all what you like. I really like their broccoli pizza it's absolutely delicious. Plus you can't go wrong with a plain cheese. Their menu is pretty extensive also offering hoagies, sandwiches, Stromboli, and even pasta and meat entrees. Their cheesesteaks are very good. The bread they use is phenomenal, it tastes like a pretzel roll but i don't think it actually is. I've also tried their chicken parm sandwich which we thought was okay but actually better the day after. Their normal fries are pretty bland but I really loved the spicy fries. Overall this is a decent place when you're craving a junkier dinner and we definitely will continue to order from them! read more

As a cheese steak pro this is my local stop when I am at work. I would not go out of my way for this place but it is an above average steak. Roll - 7 out of 10 - Decent Roll Steak - 7 out of 10 - They finely dice their meat here. Like a loose meat sandwich. Cheese to Steak Ratio (I know that sounds weird but I hate a steak that has way to much cheese or not enough). - 4 to 1 - Not enough cheese for my liking.. Here's the deal: the food is good. Like really good. The pizza, the cheesesteaks, even the salads are good. When I was younger, I practically lived in this place! It's not a fancy restaurant and the staff may seem like questionable characters, but they're harmless. If you want a typical pizza joint experience, then feel free to eat there...you'll be glad you did. I took away one star because there's a bar connected to the pizza shop (it's two completely separate areas), and there may be some interesting people floating around. The chicken fingers and other fried food is frozen, but, alas, it's a pizza joint. read more

Solid place. They delivered a pizza once to me in a snowstorm. Been getting cheesesteaks from Pizza Time for years. Got the ribeye cheesesteak today. It comes on a big kaiser roll. Good quality meat, but anyone knows a cheesesteak comes on a long roll. A little weird, but ok still delicious. I also was not as full from this one as their regular cheesesteak. Got together with some old friends on Friday night for some pizza, wine/beer and bad TV. This place is just down the road from my friends' house where we decided to chill and they all spoke highly of it so we went for it. We got three pies: plain, pepperoni, and one of their 'gourmet' pies with spinach, ricotta and sun-dried tomatoes I believe. I didn't have the pepperoni as that is simply not my cup of tea but the others seemed to really like it. As far as the plain slice, I wasn't too impressed - the cheese was kinda hard and the slice was fairly greasy (took 3 napkins to dab it down) but the sauce was pretty tasty - not too sour or too sweet. However, as promised, the gourmet slice was pretty darn tasty! Two of the girls in the group had raved about it as we placed our order and I must say with a bit of garlic salt and chili flakes, it was nice. However, I'm a pizza snob...I love my crust crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside, not too thick but not too thin. I like just enough sauce that isn't sour or too sweet (which is where they earned the most points in my book). Also, the texture of the cheese is very important. I had a slice about a month ago at a football party I went to (no idea where the pies were from unfortunately) and their cheese was amazing...chewy but not too stringy and definitely not hard. Pizza Time's cheese was a bit too tough for my taste...maybe it's because it was so cold outside that the pizza got too chilled by the time it was delivered to us but still...I wasn't too impressed. Overall, I enjoyed the food but I don't think I'd order from them on my own...however, if I am to be at another get-together that orders from them, I won't be going on food strike or anything. read more

In spite of their name, their pizza isn't really that great. It's not bad. The crust is just a little too thick for me and I like my sauce a little more tangy and salty. On the other hand, my dad loves their pizza, so I guess it's just a matter of personal preference. Their strombolis are waaaaaay better than their pizza, especially their veggie stromboli (ask for an extra side of sauce for dipping!). They're so big that I get two big meals out of a "personal" sized one. read more

It was the only place open on New Years Day night at around 9 PM. Had it delivered and it was just awful. And it's not the kind of awful that was "maybe they had a bad night" awful. I am giving my rating based on the buffalo chicken cheesesteak only. It's the best. Unlike most places, Pizza Time mixes buffalo sauce into the steak and doesn't just pour on tobasco. Pair it with the mozz. cheese fries and you have a winner. read more

Very disappointed in Pizza Time. We haven't been there in years, and on Sunday, Mother's Day evening, my husband wanted a cheesesteak. Our usual go to place was closed, so we decided to get one from here to split. He ordered a large with fried hot peppers and fried onions ON THE SIDE. . (I can NOT have hot peppers). Well after taking one bite, it was very apparent there were some hot peppers on the sandwich. Looked as if they forgot to keep them off, and put them and the onions on, and then scraped them off and placed them in the little containers. You could see pieces of hot peppers through out the sandwich and the containers had pieces mixed in with the onions too. Thank God my grandchildren didn't want any!!! What if I was allergic??? They obviously knew what they did since they took them off after it was made but they should have made a whole other sandwich instead of taking them off. Needless to say, I couldn't eat it. I wanted to call to tell them, and have one remade but my husband didn't want me to, he said not to because "you know what happens in restaurants when you complain". Never again. read more

As someone that has worked here, i can personally tell you that the pizza dough is made daily. every night they put in an order for the local produce dept to bring in anything they need for the next day (tomatoes, lettuce, lemons, ect) VERY FRESH!! my recommendation is the roast turkey hoagie, but beware because it made with provolone cheese if not specified otherwise. and youll have to tell them if you want oil or mayo. The wings are so unbelievably large and when you eat them there's no fat or chewy garbo- all meat. and i used to like the cheeseburgers but figured they were frozen but surprisingly they are completely homemade and then formed into a circle. the spicy fries are delicious and even better with cheese. the cheesesteaks are the number one thing that are ordered and theres a reason for it! i personally like to get extra cheese and bacon - yum! they sell cheesesteaks and hoagies by the half or the whole and everyday, sometimes more than once a day, they are going to Conshohocken Bakery for the freshest rolls possible. And lastly, if you have a craving for anything, chicken alfredo, chicken quesadilla, personal pizza, or anything, and it isnt on the menu, dont sweat. just give them a call, tell them what youd like and how youd like it and i would say 9 times out of 10 they can make it for you. read more
