    the Porchetta Sandwich w/veggies (lol)
    Lele Y.

I passed by this shop and (so thankful!) its menu being displayed as a sidewalk sign.."Porchetta Sandwich?? wait like Roli Roti in SF??...I must do more research...*goes on phone* omg it's from Italy, I MUST TRY!!!" Interior is super cozy but also only good for groups of 1-2, ordering takes place at the cash register Outdoor dining has more tables but still mostly groups of 1-2 haha the Porchetta Sandwich w/o veggies; crunchy but also soft bread, the Porchetta was subtly tasty and not heavily seasoned (compared to Roli Roti, and also just how the USA seasons their foods lol) the Porchetta Sandwich w/veggies (lol); veggies did help cut the rich-ness of all the bread (heh carbohydrates 4ever) and the entire sandwich complimented each other, nothing took away from the main star of the show ~ the Porchetta I love variety ... so I'll probably be ordering one of each again in the future, haha!

BLUF: delicious sandwiches with a smile Four of us went on a weekday afternoon for lunch. You order inside and there are a few tables outside. This place gets very popular in the afternoon so if you see an empty table grab it. While you can order other things, the main focus of this shop is on Porchetta sandwiches. They have a great variety, and all of them come on a wonderfully crunchy loaf of bread. All of us loved our sandwiches for the most part, but we all agreed that they were will drive because they toast the bread and that dries out the sandwich quite a bit. My suggestion is to either get a nice heart string to go with it or to ask that they sprinkle little olive oil or even mayo on the bread when they make your sandwich.

Fresh ingredients in tantalizing combinations handmade and assembled before your eyes by a chef who knows how flavors blend, contrast and compliment. Choice of fresh crusty outside/soft centered breads locally baked, had a Copernium and Leonardo (veggie) equally delicious and at 6€ super reasonable. Only 8!chairs in, 4 out so take-and-go's normal. Super nice chef takes orders, whips out sandwiches and salads while guy in back by stove concocts fizzy potions, slices and dices. Top level sandwiches highly recommend.

I had the Galileo and was very pleasantly surprised. The bread was crunchy on the outside and delicious on the inside. The cheese and fillings were all great. While there was a line, it was worth it!

Excellent porchetta sandwich...the pesto is best. Kind staff but limited seating. Worth it.

Come for the Keplero (porchetta panini), stay for the friendly chefs cooking up your meal! We ordered 3 porchetta paninis and thought we would get the same toppings...but the chefs made each one different, so we could try out the varieties. They even gave us samples of their slaw topping, which was tasty and super fresh. Located in a central area, great for quick meal and going back to sightseeing

Best sandwich I've had here in Rome. Bread very fresh and crunchy outside and soft inside. Very favorable. Reasonable in price. Fast service. Same sitting area, but get to take and walk.

Slices of porchetta with pesto and peppers inside a good roll creates a DELICIOUS sandwich! Super friendly service and small counter with seating available for a quick bite. Near the Pantheon, highly highly recommend!

I am a San Fran girl, I swear by the porchetta sandwich at Roli Roti near Ferry building. But, when I had the well-made, hand-crafted pressed porchetta sandwich at Panino, I changed my mind instantly! OMG, this place is amazing! We went here much later in the day but the sandwiches were still fresh! I got the porchetta with sundried tomatoes, pesto, and orange peel and my husband got the same - we weren't ready to share! The lady at the counter was very sweet. She walked us through the options we had and also recommended a few combinations of the add-ons that we could try. The place, however, is small with just two tables. There is no rush to empty the table so be prepared for a take out. The bread was a bit crunchy but not crumbly. The pesto had a nice aroma of the basil, wonderful olfactory experience. Sandwiches and menu were small - my only complaint. But a nice place overall.

Do not walk by this place. It is the best! It has the best porchetta! Everything on the menu looks delicious. We sat at the small counter and just watched the "show", watching them prepare all of the wonderful paninis and salads. Everything is fresh and delicious. We will return before we leave.

Excellent sandwiches! This hole in the wall is a perfect place to get out of the sun during the summer. 5 euros got me an excellent porchetta with really interesting toppings (oranges, etc) which surprisingly works. They also have a variety of salads and soups (but not in the summer because they told me it's too hot outside for soup). The chefs are really friendly and they'll ask you before they put in any topping into your sandwich.

Location: great, right in front of the temple, in the middle of Piazza di Pietra. Food: the filling is great, size is just right, breads are slightly on the crunchy hard side. All the ingredients are shown on their counter. Service: fast and efficient, although less chatty then most other places we've been. Seating: two small tables. Prices: fair (considering material and location). Wifi: yes Big Tables: none Side note: As a person who was born here, it's always great to see some small shops that are still friendly and genuine amidst all the tourist traps. Efficienti, bellissima location, buona qualità delle materie prime, ciabatte un pochino sul dure ma ci sta. Una pausa gourmet senza dubbio da ripetere per chi é in zona.

The bread was okay but the porchetta, salad, olive spread and orange slice makes the sandwich out of this world.

When I arrived there was no line, so maybe I got lucky, just one couple in front of me already inside the shop. Take a number and wait your turn. It's worth it. Sandwiches are made on pizza bianca, a crisp and chewy flatbread native to Rome. They will fill your sandwich with whatever you like, and then weigh the sandwich to price it out. I got mortadella, stracciatella, pesto and sun-dried tomatoes. The sandwich was phenomenal, so delicious and memorable that I recreated it when I got home to the US, bread and all. The sandwiches may seem simple but the ingredients are the best around which really takes things to the next level. Don't miss it if you're in Rome.

We got the Bobby flay (porcheta, stracciatella, pesto) with sun-dried tomatoes and a mortadella sandwich with stracciatella cheese and pesto spread. Both were good sandwiches, but I felt like the meat and cheese to bread ratio is off. One sandwich had too much filling while the other had too little. That said, both sandwiches were tasty.. and after waiting an hour, I had high hopes but unfortunately it just didn't wow me. Service was excellent though.
