This place gets very popular in the afternoon so if you see an empty table grab it. While you can order other things, the main focus of this shop is on Porchetta sandwiches. But, when I had the well-made, hand-crafted pressed porchetta sandwich at Panino, I changed my mind instantly! OMG, this place is amazing! The place, however, is small with just two tables. There is no rush to empty the table so be prepared for a take out. The bread was a bit crunchy but not crumbly. This hole in the wall is a perfect place to get out of the sun during the summer. 5 euros got me an excellent porchetta with really interesting toppings (oranges, etc) which surprisingly works. They also have a variety of salads and soups (but not in the summer because they told me it's too hot outside for soup). I was lucky to nab the small round table they have in the back and watched them make sandwiches for multiple people. Each sandwich was carefully crafted and made to order including their fruit cups! I had the pleasure of trying the porchetta sandwich, which they have three version of and to be quite honest I don't remember which is which but You can't go wrong with any of the 3 from what I saw. I had the porchetta and wifey had the Leonardo da Vinci. We both are extremely satisfied with our choices. She opened just as we arrived so we got to see her set up and prep everything in front of us. I've had porchetta sandwiches elsewhere and they're usually a tad too salty but not here. Thanks to Yelp I found this tiny specialty sandwich shop with no sign out front. These guys are great, courteous and they make killer sandwiches. My husband and I discovered porchetta in Rome and then went on hunt for it anywhere we could find it. I stumbled across this place on Trip Advisor (very well reviewed for sandwiches and porchetta), so of course, we had stop by and try their porchetta. It's a small but very cute & modern cafe with lively music. We picked out our sandwiches, sat down in the corner of the store and of course enjoyed every last morsel of meaty goodness. However, we really enjoyed chatting with Daniele at the shop, who showed a keen interest in getting to know us as people.
