Their large pizza is huge, with slices that remind you of a classic New York pizzeria. One large pizza can easily feed four people if everyone has about two slices. Nearing the 9:30 mark, someone finally says "have you been helped?" And whadda ya know? Found out the reason I was still waiting - BECAUSE MY PIE WAS SITTING THERE THE WHOLE DAMN TIME! Getting cold. She says "we're just getting that cut up." But they weren't - it was already cut. They took one of their old pies off the rack and slid it right into a box. It wasn't in the oven. I could feel it was cold, but yes, I took it and went home. I can't say you couldn't eat it but.... it wasn't good. We did eat some of it, but only after baking it in my own oven. Good thing I ordered in advance, eh? If you are going to do a take out here, my advice would be to skip ordering altogether, and just go there and get the slices yourself. They won't be too fresh, but at least it will be fast. Better yet, go across the street to Quincy Hall, (or over to Wise Guys) where they will bake the pizza to order and have it hot and ready when you arrive.
