My specialist, Cynthia went above and beyond while doing my nails. I went in as a walk-in at 8:30pm on a Thursday, my nails were DISGUSTING. As I was walking to Chambers Street subway, noticed this tiny nail spa was open and the price was $25 for a gel mani. So many colors ! My nails are thin and I asked if they could soak a little longer instead of scraping. The little shoulder massage was so good, I paid for $10 for 10 min (and that guarantees my nails will soak vs. scraping). It breaks my heart to write this review as I have had many great services here in the past but the past 3 times I have gone the service has not been good. They were servicing a visibly sick individual who was coughing and sneezing the whole time with no mask on. The water for the pedicure was cold. The cuticles were BARELY touched and, my poor friend who got the massage said they were in pain because they were pulling so much on his leg hair. Great experience! A no frills salon that did a good job! Sunny paid excellent attention to my nails and made sure that I was happy with the result. The tools used were clean and they offer water or hot tea as you get your nailI went right at 5pm on a Monday with no appointment and didn't have to wait, but it got pretty busy shortly after. The $25 deal for a gel manicure is awesome, too! Note, tips are cash only!!! You can pay for the service with card, though. There were tons of colours to choose from as well, which I loved!! I work around the corner, and will definitely be back assuming that the gel holds up well! :) Update: the gel has lasted longer than any other gel mani I've had!!!! Love! I was low on time so they offered to do nails and gel mani at the same time, and I loved the efficiency. $60 with tip in and out for an hour was a good deal. I noticed my toe polish was slightly pushed back, perhaps melted back(?) and you can see the top of the nail but I'm not concerned until it cracks. Concerns: the warm towels smelled like mildew and I'm not sure if they clean/sanitize the tools. (I'm used to watching my local salon have a new pack each time.) Been coming here for 3 years now and have no major complaints. I cane across this space when looking for an affordable and professional nail salon near my work space being it much easier for me to go after work then a weekend task. My staple go-to are Sunny or Winnie. They are always so welcoming when I arrive and accommodating. The space is very clean and for the most part quiet. It does get busy during the week midday and usually more then often the summer time I've noticed. Other then nails offer services for massage and waxing. I always get pulled in to get a 10 minute massage as part of the nails and pedicure package, which Oh my! Is sooo great! The owners, Linda and her husband are always on site to help out and make the experience well shared. If i have ever had a nail chip or mess up from the time I leave, with no hesitation they are able to fix it within a reasonable time frame. I did the dip powder and the tips broke a few hours later it wasn't worth the money I spent the only thing decent that it's clean n the design on the nail were nice. My friend got Manicure and was cut a few times the skin broke an when she was ask the tech to be careful the she had an attitude. the worst set i've ever gotten. first off i will say i went 6 days ago and my gel polish has peeled off like a sticker. I asked if they did acrylic the woman said yes which was a lie they do dip powder, the removal process of these are different so my old set is still on my nail underneath the extension and dip powder tip thats on my nails right now. my nails underneath are barely glued down, long, and very thick which they usually are not. now for the gel polish its been 6 days and on the day i got my nails done 2 nails had already chipped on the edges. now it is 6 days later and 4 of my nails' polish has come off like a sticker. i then realized there had been no primer coat because of how easily it came off. and one if my nails broke off in the weirdest way. the set was just straight up bad i've had multiple sets over the years and i have never experienced anything like this. lastly, i was there for 3 AND A HALF HOURS. i walked in and immediately got my nails done however the woman who was doing my nails continuously got up to answer the phone when there were 2 women just sitting on their phones who probably could've done it. don't go here read more

Came here on a Friday afternoon without any appointment and it was busy. After reading the previous reviews, I wanted Linda to do my gel mani and regular pedi. She had just started on another customer but I decided to wait because I'm insanely picky about my nails and I needed it to be perfect for my bachelorette weekend away. I waited about 3 minutes, the owner (man in front) and a few of the girls came by a few times asking if I wanted any water or tea. When Linda was finally done with her customer she came by, she was so apologetic about the wait and I told her it was ok, I didn't have an appointment. She very sweet and nice, I was very pleased with my gel manicure and pedicure. Now to warn you, this is not a high end spa. This is a no frill nail salon that is moderately priced and clean! Don't come in here expecting a spa type of treatment. I'd highly recommend them for basic manicures, gel manicures, and pedicures. The complementary massage at the end was an added bonus. Can we talk about how perfectly my nails were done? I'm a guy, and honestly, guys, I know it's 2022, but I still feel hesitated to do my nails. I walked in late for 15 mins with my appointment time, the front desk did not complain at all and walked me to the seat. I never really write reviews but I just had to for this one. I went in during lunch and thought I would get an eye brow wax and a mani pedi. I just wanted clear nails with no polish. The wax went OK but once I got into the pedi chair it all went downhill from there. Apparently, the inspectors came in and everyone was running crazy. I worked in a hair salon before so I know that things are hectic so I let it all go. Not only did some of the workers "disappear" but one person was working on 3 people at the same time while trying to handle the inspectors. So now there is cross contamination and yelling and of course lengthy wait times. They were very apologetic and most of the patrons really were chill about it. I was fine until I got the bill it was $68! AND i never even got the clear, Just come cuticles cut and cleaned. I was so late to get back to work (1.5 hrs) that I just signed away and left in a hurry. #notafan read more

Glad I stumbled across this salon, as they will be my new go to! I recently moved here from out of town and was looking for a new nail spot that was close to my job or close to where I live and was the same price as where I came from. Walked around tribeca and Fidi for a while before finding Rainbow and their $25 gel manicure. Each nail tech/employee I came in contact with was very friendly and polite. They provided water and tea and gave a back massage for no extra cost while you got your nails done. It felt like they were just trying to get through each customer ASAP. I have bubbles in the nail polish and my French was completely crooked for 2 nails and I had to ask them to fix it. Hadn't been in a while and unfortunately recent visit was really bad. Nail tech was very rough, scraped skin off my Achilles with scrubber during pedicure, pulled on cuticles, etc. Mani is TOTALLY chipped less in than 24 hours. Disappointing to say the least.
