A week later, he begins changing his story, and refuses to take responsibility for lying over the phone about payment. To be fair, Apple is really killing small businesses like this, however we all need to know our limits and businesses need to be held accountable so here is my review. I cracked my iPhone XR screen. Aside from the crack in the screen the phone was fully functional. This business replaced my screen and then the problems began. After I picked it up, the phone started malfunctioning and ultimately refused to take a charge (either from being plugged in or put on a charging base) so it was dead. I returned to the business the following day and left my phone all day. After trying and failing to fix the problem, the business wanted to refund me the cost of the screen replacement ($89.10) and hand me a dead phone back in return. After I made a fuss, they agreed to continue trying to fix the problem. The following day I returned and the phone was now at least turning on. Neither the front camera nor Face ID work anymore, plus the phone is not recognizing the battery as an authentic Apple battery so it is unable to assess the health of the battery. The employee had the AUDACITY to ask me for more $ to pay for the part they said was broken (the Face ID chip...which is STILL non-functional). After more back and forth he waved the cost and made some snarky remark to me as my daughter and I left the store. Each time I communicated with the business they would try to pin the blame on me, despite the fact that I handed them a fully functional phone when I went in. There are tons of issues reported on the internet (having now done crazy amounts of research) with third party vendors trying to replace newer model iPhone screens because Apple has lots of things hard coded. So essentially the lesson is, don't take your later model iPhones to anyone but an Apple retailer. However, it was unacceptable how the employees tried to pin the blame on me (their customer). It was unacceptable that they thought they could hand someone back a dead phone. And it really was unacceptable that they even tried to fix the phone in the first place when something like this happens with such frequency. They cannot replace the screen without putting their business at significant risk - and they cannot assign the blame to their customers when errors like this occur (due to the way the manufacturer has set up the device or otherwise). This business proved to be dishonest and deceitful when it came to taking responsibility for THEIR error. I hope this review helps to warn potential customers. You'll notice that most of the reviews posted are for iphone 7 or lower. If you have a newer phone I would seriously advise paying the extra $ and getting it repaired by Apple. read more

Excellent place to repair your iPhone! Fast service. I was in and out within 10 mins (probably less). I had trouble with the sound/volume - whenever I was talking on the phone it sounded like the person was far away and I could barely hear them, so I would have to put them on speaker phone. If I could give this place negative stars I would, they DO NOT know how to fix iPhones!! Please believe me DO NOT GO HERE!! they quote wrong prices over the phone , take HOURS to replace a screen! First time they replaced it with a knockoff screen that I didn't ask for, took it upon themselves to do it because they were out of stock on the original screens (which they should've mentioned) then replaced it with an original 2 weeks later! In between that time frame it was my responsibility to not let anything happen to the knockoff screen! Finally went back for my original screen which then once again took forever!! Too busy talking in that lil back room, Not to mention they were very unprofessional, no customer service skills at all! very sketchy place in general! Long story short My phone is worthless, I can only talk while using the speaker and my home button doesn't work anymore,owner I'm assuming offered to give me the money to get a phone replacement thru my insurance,I didn't do it...they didn't wanna give me the "free protector" when you check in promo without me leaving a review first...so here's my review!! Dropped my iPhone 6 as I was exiting my car. Looked at the screen and realized I got the broken iPhone screen app. It's free to get but generally costs hundreds of dollars to get rid of it. This place came to the rescue! It's in the same parking lot as 7/11, and somewhat discreet. Almost missed it. Anyway, I went straight here and got the screen replaced within 45 minutes. Total cost was about $105. Very worth it to get rid of the broken iPhone screen app. Overall, I recommend this place if you need a quick fix for your iPhone! Adios!!! read more

I don't like to give one star so i will give two for this experience. Had a previous experience that went fine but this time I'm walking away disappointed. Spoke to Leon last night and inquired about replacing my cracked Samsung 7 screen. He quoted me $120 which was fine but informed me it required ultraviolet light curing and to bring it in the next day. No problem. I noticed they also had. Yelp spen $10 to get $20 off deal so I bought it. Went in there today and showed them the phone. They came back to tell me none in stock and the glass alone costs $150. As you can imagine I am more than a little disappointed and now I have a useless coupon I paid for and a business who doesn't know how to make things right when they screw up. I let them know that in the future Leon needs to get his facts straight although I might have offered an expletive in the process. They said uh sorry and I said bye. Too bad. I went in with my aunt to get her iPad fixed. Nothing was wrong with it besides the fact that my daughter cracked one corner of the screen. We went in to fix it and everything seemed fine until the guy there called and said he couldn't fix the screen. So we thought ok no big deal we can take it somewhere else. So we go in to pick up the iPad it is completely torn apart and it won't turn on anymore no matter how long we charge it for. We've called and asked him to do something about it and he said he will give us $80 for an iPad that was just fine and no problems besides the cracked screen. Thanks! That's about $300 in the trash. I will NEVER come back to this place. Ever!!!!! I would love for the owner of this business to fix this issue. I thought they helped fix the problem not make it worse. My two year old dropped and shattered the screen on my iPhone 6. I went to one place in San Pedro and they wanted $160! I asked what the guy was smoking! So I asked a friend for a referral and he recommended this place in Lomita. They were very fast and very inexpensive! Only $99 to replace my screen. So I spent a little more and had them put a screen protector and a new cover to better protect it against a two year old.
