My daughter saw this online and said we had to try it. It's located downtown in the same building as Puttshack near Tom's. The pricing is around $30 pp for and hr. The games range from half hr to 1 hr. We choose angry birds and the floor is lava. I wouldn't recommend angry birds as it's just you using the wall like a big phone, which wasn't exciting. This was such a great place to bring some teenagers on a Saturday morning! It is right across from Phoenicia if you are familiar with downtown. We ate there after! I had three boys ages 14 and 15 and they had an absolute blast and it was worth the money because it was about an hour long. You will need to park in the parking garage and come up to the third floor inside a mall and pass the food court, and they will be on the left side. I definitely would recommend this place and they played the Ghostbusters game and had a blast ! Again, this was booked for 12 noon! The employees are nice for the tiny bit of time they're walking you through the gameplay/instructions. We did Alien Aptitude. Cons- the price. $38 is a bit much. Especially when it's only for an hour of gameplay- it may seem unfair but of course I can't help but compare to other interactive places (like escape rooms) that charge less for either the same amount or even more gametime. The location is terrible. In what is still an essentially empty mall. Plus on top of the price for this you have to pay for parking in the same building. This place would've been better suited in the memorial or katy area. I'll recommend this place to those that don't mind dropping the money, and are possibly closer. Not sure when I'll go back to be honest, but that's mainly based on location/parking. I'll have to give their Willowbrook location a shot incase that one is more convenient for me. read more

We've never been here before, so when they texted the day of with details on how to get to their location, it was really helpful! The only downside is parking around the area is not cheap, would love to be able to have our parking validated as another reviewer mentioned! The room was very spacious, and they were very helpful and the check in process was quick and easy with our waivers. We went with the space-themed interstellar room for one hour and it was super immersive and creative! You put on some hats and theyre able to track your movement and the walls are touch-interactive as well. Definitely expect to break into a light sweat, because all the lights and movement does make the room a bit hot. They all have lockers outside as well as a little cubby in the room for your items and drinks, and a phone stand so you can film your own content while playing! It's a great way to bond and have light competition in a different format. There's also an opportunity to create a gif at the end and they even email it you as well. We forgot to grab our purple card at the counter afterwards but were glad to see they emailed it with the gif as well. Recommending it for a new type of date night, friendly activity, team-building, or family day out! read more

Was in town for a wedding and decided to check this place out with some family, as a way to try something new and have some fun. We all settled on the new game inspired by Black Mirror. We loved how high tech this place looks and feels. To play everyone has to wear a funny little hat that tracks what you're doing. Overall, we had a blast! Their was sections that were competitive and some where you had to work as a team. There are a couple of areas where this place could improve. After a while some of the games become repetitive. It feels like your doing the same task just in different ways. Would love if some of the sections were shortened. Some sections felt like they dragged on. Also, by the end of the game it felt like the hats were not picking up on our actions. Unsure if they needed to be calibrated or what. The end was a little bumpy because of this. Overall, I would totally come again to try out a different game. Would love to compare! And it's also a good little workout if you want to spice it up. read more

I saw that this experience had opened and decided to take my son and his friend to check it out. (they are 11). We did the "Alien Assessment" game for an hour and it was fantastic! Everything about the place is nice. Abby greeted us and helped us get started. She was informative and friendly. The game was fast paced and fun to play.... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EXERCISE FRIENDLY CLOTHES. (At least flat shoes). I was in jeans and would have preferred shorts or yoga pants, but anything is fine. The venue has drinks for both children and adults (BONUS). It was clean, nice, and a ton of fun. The boys loved it, and it was age appropriate... they could have done harder or more mature games as well, but this was a nice one to become comfortable with how it all works. We did squid games, and to be honest it was quite boring. Yes, I watched squid games, yes I love the games, but it was a lot less techy than I imagined. You just put on a hat that tracks your movements and for one hour we really just walked left and right and up and down. The games were boring, and dragged. Again it's just move left right up and down. Maybe another game would have been more interesting. Paying 32$ a person was so not worth it either. They do have drinks you can purchase, which we did, unfortunately it did not make it more fun. I see a lot of good reviews and I was personally recommended to go by a friend who loves it. Definitely recommend making reservations ahead of time to book your time slot - when we came on Saturday night they were on a very tight schedule with not a lot of wiggle room for early or late arrivals. You can park at the parking garage (they send an email prior to check in on parking instructions, how to find them, etc). We arrived early and enjoyed some drinks while waiting for a room to become available. We signed up for Squid Games and Temple of Coins. Both games were so much fun. Temple of coins is very similar to playing pac man and well Squid Games has the games based on the well known tv show. It's a little pricey but we'll worth it for the experience. Wow. This place was so much more fun than I anticipated. The photos/videos don't do it justice and the visors look kind of dorky, but don't let that fool you! We did the one-hour session for Squid Games. The software gives you clear instructions before each round, so even if there's a learning curve, it's easy to catch on. The time goes by fast (cause you're having fun, duh) and you might even break a sweat depending on how active you want to get! I will say that we paid for 60 mins, but once the session was done, I saw that we only played for about 45 mins. I don't know if that's because we only had 2 people. But I felt a little shorted. I really appreciated the staff texting/emailing parking instructions and directions to navigate through the mall ahead of time. We would've gotten lost otherwise. Overall, a great experience and definitely a place I'd love to bring more friends to! read more

There are a few parking spots near The Highlight. We found a parking lot near the Four Seasons and walked a short distance over. When you walk into The Highlight, there's a sign that lets you know about IGB and to get on the escalator. They do walk-ins or you can buy your tickets online and check in. There are lockers where you can put your belongings, but there's also a spot in the room where you can put small belongings. They also have a phone stand where you can place your phone for videos or selfies. We did Temple Coins and Squid Games and had a fun time! It requires movement and patience. We had a blast! There are other games that we want to try out for next time! This spot would be great for date night, with friends, or even your coworkers! read more
