Placed an order online, payed $20 for the pizza, ~$3 delivery fee, like $2 and some change for taxes, and left a 10% tip. About 10 minutes later, I receive a call, and it's the owner! He had an insulted attitude and was incredulous that I would "only tip 10%", in his words. He said he couldn't send out a driver for that low of a tip, because that wouldn't be fair to them, and he would pass the order to DoorDash instead. I understand 10% is not a great tip, but how am I supposed to give them free money to hope that I get good service? (Which I obviously didn't) Why am I paying a delivery fee if you rely on tips to make my order worth your time? I live literally 1.5 miles away too, like that's not too far, I feel?
