Pretty average pizza but I very much appreciated that it was open on a holiday :) Super doughy crust which made it very filling. A blend of different cheeses that tasted nice. Pretty non-traditional. Toppings were the downfall - the artichokes seemed kinda raw and weren't super pleasant to eat. Spinach was fine but plain.

What a great pizza pie! It's was so cheesy with a good amount of toppings. We asked for the wings extra crispy and they delivered. Super fast and great service

Sorry....I couldn't control myself to take a pic of the whole za. I was taking a minute to resume breathing when I took this. Meat Lovers.

Bomb a** meat lovers pizza. This is pretty typical St. Louis style za, so nothing earth shattering. Mega toppings on this guy but I feel like all of the sausage with all of the hamburger gave it a very salty+peppery taste. Glad I tried though and may God bless the delivery team that night. They went above and beyond to deliver this product that allowed my wife and I to survive St. Louis. This pizza saved our marriage, and I thank God every day that I made it to the day, that I had the opportunity to even try this magnificent piece of culinary history. God bless America and God bless Mr X

This has become my go-to local pizza place. I love supporting a Bosnian-owned restaurant in my new neighborhood of Bevo! I usually prefer thicker crust, but I enjoy their thinner crust. I usually get pepperoni pizza which is great, but most recently got the Garden Springs pizza - spinach, artichoke and garlic. Also yum! I love that they also have fries - fries and pizza may be my favorite foods.

    Just red onions!

Just ordered Mr X for the first time. Ordered online a to-go garden springs pizza (spinach, artichoke, garlic) and added red onions for .50 more. When I got home it was just red onions and no other toppings...LOL... Gave 3 stars because if a person wanted just onions, it was good. I'll probably try it again, but will def check it before I leave

Mr. X was just OK the other night. Not terrible, nothing exceptional. And they were over 25 minutes late with delivery... not OK! I'm sure they get busy, but most pizza joints that are much more popular don't get away with douching out on their delivery service. I will note, however, that when the pizza finally did arrive that it was piping hot. If you are going to order from Mr. X, I'd suggest carry out instead. That way, you can control when you're getting the pizza.

This is the feather on the fry.

Grabbed a huge booth/table in the front by the bar and picked out the pizzas n some Buds Nugs as well as Beer Nugs. The Nugs were really great and can't pick which one I liked more but careful cus they are filling and you want to save room for the pizza! We all ordered a pizza (3 total for the table) and ours was the Boxcar. The slices are cute large, and the crust was a perfect balance of crispy but still fluffy. Since we got full on the Nugs we had lots of leftovers for the week to enjoy! Overall place was BEAUTIFUL, servers were friendly, and food was great!

There's a charming patio out front, if you want it. You can settle in for a long dinner, post up at the bar for the night, or grab a quick bite before heading out on the town. Bartenders are warm and approachable, and the in-house mixology is confident without any "we spent 30 hours perfecting this" pretense. The whole experience is like Sam Malone the bartender (save the drama) at Cheers: friendly, self-assured, the kind of place that makes you feel like you could spend all night there without anyone rushing you. We had a Paper Plane and an Old Fashioned -- the latter served over a custom ice cube stamped with a double ax (a nod to the wood fire). The cocktail list leans classic and reliable: if you know you like gin or vodka, you'll find something easy here. The espresso martini is the standout, it works as a dessert drink or any other time of the meal. We started with the Smorgasbord instead of our usual garlic knots (which are their own delicacy), and it didn't disappoint: toasted brioche with mascarpone and strawberry jam, several cured meats (capicola, prosciutto, pepperoni), parmesan, gouda, dried cherries, and chutney. My one nitpick; the pepperoni and gouda were tiny cubes, which makes them tough to grab cleanly compared to the sliced parmesan or rolled prosciutto. In this situation give the man a toothpick. The tallow-fried wings are, in my opinion, the best in St. Louis. The beef-tallow-and-potato-starch breading produces a tempura-like texture and crunch that keeps them light. Adventurous-but-classic sauces, bourbon butter BBQ, buffalo, and pineapple honey habanero (legitimately spicy; bring backup). The wings stand on their own without sauce. For pizza, we got the Napoli (tomato, fresh and smoked mozzarella, arugula, parmesan, black pepper, olive oil) -- her standing favorite. Expect proper Neapolitan: soft center, thin crust, charred crisp edge. Don't lift and bite fold it. (She insists: no fork. I use a fork - I know how dare I!) The pizza menu reads creative but never gimmicky; meat-lovers, vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-conscious diners all have real options. Before Kyle took over, Pizzeoli was known as a vegan-forward spot, and that flexibility lives on. We closed with the seasonal ice cream sandwich, fresh-pressed pizzelle wafers, crème brûlée ice cream, and a torched marshmallow cap. Excellent. A couple of practical notes: they're dinner-only (4-9:30) and the new reservation phone line is a robo call. Easier to use the online waitlist or book online directly. Pizzeoli is dressed-down-or-dressed-up friendly, kid-welcoming, and somehow works equally well for a pre-game stop or your dinner of the week. I've never had a bad dish here, and there are several I come back for specifically -- Lesley for the Napoli, me for the wings. 4.9 stars out of 5. If that toothpick shows up, a perfect 5. ;) Worth the trip across town, an hour drive for a long dinner, if it were open for lunch, the suggestion for two trips in one day would be welcomed or two-days in a row.

He called me after I had placed the order and paid and said they were out of the ham for the pizza so he kept saying they would use sausage. I don't like sausage and told the man that called to just make the pizza without the ham (it was to be their Hawaiian special plus I added ham to it and accepted their up charge to do that). I am not sure why they have ham and bacon as options if they don't carry them (or were they just out?) as I asked the caller to sub bacon for the ham and he said they didn't have that either. NOTE: I did use the "SLICE" pizza app to order my meal but the Eni's menu and the Slice app's menu for Eni's appear to be the same. The 2nd surprise to me was that I ordered a salad, this time I decided to try their Caesar salad, and I was surprised as it came DIY style. See pic, but I'm not complaining about the salad, I got all the ingredients, it just seemed strange. So, what was messed up? As I said I don't like sausage at all so I ordered their Hawaiian special of beef & pineapple, plus I added the ham. When the man called me and said no ham, I said three times to just make it like the menu said. The caller suggested sausage and I think he said spicy sausage was available too (again he did not sound like a native English speaker) so I repeated no, just make it like the menu and don't add anything extra to it. So when it arrived, it looked like hamburger / ground beef but the first bite had a powerful unexpected taste, it had sausage. I ate part of the pizza but had to stop due to the flavor. This is the first real problem I've had with Eni's, I did have another issue on a previous order but the owner resolved that one to both of our satisfaction. I still say I love their base pizza as it has a hand tossed dough, basic pizza sauce and good amount of cheese. So in the future I may just order a plain cheese pizza.

The dining room is quite small, there are about 8-9 tables. The tables seat about 6 people to a table. The dining room was clean and spacious. Our server came over immediately and got our drink order. We ordered a Chicago style 14 in pizza with pepperoni and sausage. A chef salad and Toasted ravioli. The check salad was fresh, crisp, and topped with plenty of cheese, tomato and salami, and your choice of dressing. We opted for house Italian. The house Italian was delicious, a little sweet a little tangy, not too oily. The toasted ravioli was seasoned well, cooked to perfection and the marinara sauce was fresh, seasoned well and tasted homemade. The Chicago style pizza was cooked perfectly, soft with a slight crunch. Topping was fresh and racially portioned on every slice. I would like to have had more sauce since it is a thicker crust.
