I received a call the day of our reservation to confirm we were still planning on being there. We were a group of seven, so I get it. I told the person who called that our daughter chose this place over a home cooked meal or any other restaurant in town, so there was a high expectation. I also told him o was kidding and we laughed. Even though I was kidding about the high expectations, they gave us a great meal and we had a good time. They actually came through with a few little things to make it special and while it wasn't necessary, it was very nice. The music was fun. Our service was good. Our food was great. We had dinner here on a Saturday night and had a great time. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait but it was closer to 20 which was great. They have a really comfortable inviting ambience. First of all our server Sarah was amazing, she explained menu items to us very well and all the recommendations she gave we enjoyed. The grumpy gardener cocktail was delicious and the monsoon mocktail was also very good. The pizza was honestly just okay, we had the og pepperoni, but my boyfriend loved it. I want to start off by saying that the service was great! Our server was very knowledgeable on the menu and friendly. Food-wise, a little underwhelming. The octopus starter had great flavor and I would order it again but the toasted ravioli was incredibly bland which was surprising given the pancetta and fontina cheese inclusion. Everything else was also just ok. I didn't snag a picture of the tiramisu and I wish I did because it looks quite different than some of the older pictures shared on Yelp already. Texturally it was on the dryer side and kind of grainy. Also, do want to call out that it was very loud in the restaurant if that is important to you. Not just dinner noise from other guests, but the music was playing much too loudly for a dinner venue. We had an absolutely incredible dinner here last night! From start to finish, the meal was a standout experience. We kicked things off with the toasted ravioli, and I can honestly say they are some of the best in St. Louis. You can tell they are handmade in-house--perfectly crispy on the outside with a delicious, savory filling that pairs beautifully with the marinara. We also shared the prosciutto di parma, which was sliced thin and had a wonderful, authentic flavor that set a high bar for the rest of the night. For the main course, we tried two very different but equally amazing dishes: Pepperoni Pizza: The addition of hot honey was a game-changer. It added a bold, spicy kick that balanced the salty pepperoni perfectly. Cacio e Pepe: This was truly spectacular. It's a simple dish that is hard to get right, but this was easily the best I've ever had outside of Rome. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the peppery flavor was throughout. To drink, we ordered the Old Dolce Vita, their unique take on an Old Fashioned. It was expertly crafted and really showed off their skills behind the bar--smooth, balanced, and a great companion to the meal. I can't believe I haven't been here yet! I was looking for a happy hour with my friend and chose O+O because we both hadn't been here yet despite the rave reviews with other friends. Chris was our server and he was absolutely delightful. He was attentive with drink refills, recommendations, and even got a wine for me to try. The pizza was thin, crisp and very tasty. My friend enjoyed her red sauce pasta on the happy hour menu. I'm so glad I also got the goat cheese and bread. There wasn't that many people in the restaurant until about 5:30. Once the dinner rush came in, it stayed consistently busy. There were candles on each table and not too loud. It's smaller than I expected, but I really liked that. Everyone was high spirits and very kind. They even boxed our leftovers up for us. I will absolutely back and get a full pizza! FYI happy hour is only at the high tops and at the bar. We had an excellent dining experience at O+O Pizza. I made a 6pm reservations, were promptly seated close to the kitchen upon arrival and out waiter came over quickly to introduce himself and get our drink orders after giving us a few minutes to look over the drink menu. They have plenty of adult beverage to choose from including some draft beer. But they also have some NA options for those who prefer them. We started with some grilled octopus corzetti (bone marrow, red wine sauce, leeks, tomato and fennel pollen). Delicious! The corzetti pasta were al dented and lined the bottom of the plate which were the covered with the sauce, and the grilled, sliced pieces of octopus. Octopus was prepared well, not rubbery or chewy. My husband really wanted to try their pizza so he went with the mushroom duxelle (caramelized onion, Peruvian peppers, mozzarella, arugula, goat cheese and drizzled with fig balsamic). The crust was thin but not cracker thin. It was more of a fork and knife pizza but the flavor is bursting in every bite. We both likened the flavors of the first bite to a properly done French onion soup and then the joyful rendition of flavor merriments from the Peruvian peppers and the mushroom duxelle itself closer to the edges of the pizza. The lovely fig balsamic is the perfect drizzle to the whole thing. So good! I had to stop myself at one slice since I did have an entire dish to myself as well. I ordered the linguini (shrimp, scallops, chili flakes, saffron tomato broth) which was served with some grilled bread. The broth was delicious and that kick from the chili flakes was perfect. The shrimp and scallops were also cooked properly. No other words to describe my meal other than amazing! Of course, I saved room for dessert. I ordered the salted caramel pretzel budino and my husband had the poached pear. He generally does not partake on desserts but since the poached pear was seasonal, he didn't want to miss out. While the desserts were outshined by our meal, I thought my pudding was pretty good with the right amount of brittle and candied pretzel toppings to give some texture. Absolutely loved it! We couldn't decide between two appetizers so we asked one of the waiters and he said you can't go wrong with either, so we ended up with both and ate the entire thing. The grilled bread with the goat cheese really took it to the next level. If I had to choose one, it would be the goat cheese. Simply the best! I'm now 3-3 when it comes to choosing on the whim restaurants to say for Sunday lunch/dinner. I've had my eye on this place for a while and decided today would be the day. I arrived shortly after they opened and was greeted by the hostess. Since it was hot, I chose to sit at the bar. Annalise was my server and immediately came to give me water and a menu. I asked for her opinion on the drinks and she said they start sweet and then go down. There were quite a few I had my eye on but ultimately decided on Holly Golightly. This drink was perfect for a day like today as it was sweet but not overpowering and overall refreshing. Food wise, I chose Arancini, the Caesar salad but sub. With white balsamic vinaigrette, and Casarecce Cacjo e Pepe. Note, she corrected me on my salad as they're meant to be dinner sized so she let me get a half, which was still plenty. After putting in my order, she offered bread and oil and let me tell you, THIS is where the magic happened. This bread was some of the best I've had in my life (looks like I'll be paying a visit to Union Loafers in the near future). The inside was soft and fresh, while the outside had a little crunch and was doused with sesame seeds (my fav!). The olive oil was out of this world, and you could truly taste how pure and fresh it was. Both were knockouts and it was extremely hard to control myself since I hadn't received my food yet. A little while later the Arancini arrived. This was the first time I've ever had pepperoni in arancini and it didn't disappoint! They're not the typical arancini size (little smaller), but they do come in a qty of 4. At this point, Annalise told me she timed it so everything else would come separately. I let her know I was ready for my salad. It took a little while to arrive but I was ecstatic when it did. The salad dressing was light (which I liked) and the Parmesan cheese and fresh cracked pepper were sprinkled on top. It was pretty delectable but after a few bites, I needed to box it up otherwise, there's no way I'd be able to try the main course. After getting it boxed up, the grand fínale finally arrived! I saved just enough room for a few bites and it did NOT disappoint. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the sauce was divine! Unfortunately, I had to get this boxed up as well because I was too full. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Expectations versus reality, we went in expecting easy 5 star experience for the group, and reality it was a 4 star experience, to be honest. No pictures this time as it was a special occasion, had a reservation and told the staff about the birthdays. The inside of the restaurant was 5 star nice and our table fit our group well. I didn't catch the whole conversation but one of the birthdays was disappointed in the waiters lack of up to date on what changed this week due to some time off. Two of the dishes the girls ordered were too spicy or peppery for them to enjoy, maybe a guess your audience issue. But one of them, ordered the lobster rigatoni after reading great reviews, but it was very light on the lobster at nearly $40, got maybe a claw and a half. Chicken parm at probably half the price outshined the lobster dish. The pizza was good but not omg good. If I had to give some constructive criticism there, I think it was the cracker like crust, we tried a lot of pizza in Italy and I don't remember much cracker like crust. The drinks we had were good, but again nothing omg good. I do give the bar a bonus point for their ability to make a vesper though! It's something that's wasn't expected, but it would have been appreciated knowing it was birthdays, to have offered the birthday individuals a small complementary dessert, often other very nice restaurants we have been to do this, specially for our large check right. Oh my God, this place never disappoints. We've been here almost three times now, and somehow it keeps getting better every single visit. During our latest visit, we ordered the chicken parmesan, lasagna, and rigatoni without lobster, and started with the arancini balls. Every dish was absolutely fantastic, but the real star of the night was the lasagna. This restaurant's lasagna is truly one of a kind and unlike anything you've probably tasted before. It's layered with pistachios, pesto, and squash, creating such a unique balance of creamy, nutty, and savory flavors. We received complimentary bread and oil while we looked over the menu. We decided to go with the lobster rigatoni and the meatball pie to share. Both came out quickly and hot. The pasta was fresh and of course house made with a nice portion of lobster. Our meatball pie was outstanding and to me was the highlight. A very thin crispy crust with a delicious sauce and flavorful meatball slices! This is a dinner only restaurant so plan accordingly. You won't be disappointed! read more

This place was fantastic! It was our first visit here but we will definitely be back. Sorry we didn't take more photos, but we both had two cocktails each, plus two different appetizers, and shared an entree (the spicy lobster pasta, Creste di Gallo). The drinks, Black Manhattan, La Ragazza, Suit & Thai, The Renesmee, were all FANTASTIC and we would order them again.
