I love their patio! It's a perfect spot on a nice evening. The service is also excellent and the right level of attentive. She helped us make modifications to our order and made sure to account for allergies. The grilled broccolini was so incredible that I want to go back just for that! But the pizza is also amazing. This is my new favorite date night spot and can't wait to go back.

This is such a cute, intimate spot! We showed up without a reservation on a Friday evening around 6/6:15 and got seated at the bar right away. The bar tender who served us was attentive but not pushy at all. Everything we tried was delicious! The whipped goat cheese was much more food than I was expecting for a starter! I was intrigued by the strawberries with the Brussels sprouts, so it was a last minute addition that I'm so glad I ordered! The pasta was probably my favorite dish (it had a little bit of a kick to it) but all items were excellent.

Will be thinking about these apps and drinks for a while!! We couldn't pick between two apps so we got them both and so glad we did! The whipped goat cheese was my favorite and I will absolutely be back for more soon. We went with pasta this time instead of pizza and it did not disappoint. The staff was extremely friendly and it was not too busy at 4pm on a Friday. Will have to add this to the rotation of regular dinners!

The lobster spicy pasta... I'm still thinking about it. This place walks the line between trendy and actually good, which is rare. The vibe is strong, the staff are genuinely warm like I want to be friends with them! The food delivers in a way that justifies the hype. This is a spot you recommend immediately but also low-key regret telling people about because now it's going to get busy. Fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved it! We couldn't decide between two appetizers so we asked one of the waiters and he said you can't go wrong with either, so we ended up with both and ate the entire thing. The grilled bread with the goat cheese really took it to the next level. If I had to choose one, it would be the goat cheese. I got the pappardelle as my main, and it wasn't as spicy as I expected, but still so good. They had the door open since it was a beautiful day and the place had such a warm vibe. I will for sure be coming back.

We had an excellent dining experience at O+O Pizza. I made a 6pm reservations, were promptly seated close to the kitchen upon arrival and out waiter came over quickly to introduce himself and get our drink orders after giving us a few minutes to look over the drink menu. They have plenty of adult beverage to choose from including some draft beer. But they also have some NA options for those who prefer them. We started with some grilled octopus corzetti (bone marrow, red wine sauce, leeks, tomato and fennel pollen). Delicious! The corzetti pasta were al dented and lined the bottom of the plate which were the covered with the sauce, and the grilled, sliced pieces of octopus. Octopus was prepared well, not rubbery or chewy. My husband really wanted to try their pizza so he went with the mushroom duxelle (caramelized onion, Peruvian peppers, mozzarella, arugula, goat cheese and drizzled with fig balsamic). The crust was thin but not cracker thin. It was more of a fork and knife pizza but the flavor is bursting in every bite. We both likened the flavors of the first bite to a properly done French onion soup and then the joyful rendition of flavor merriments from the Peruvian peppers and the mushroom duxelle itself closer to the edges of the pizza. The lovely fig balsamic is the perfect drizzle to the whole thing. So good! I had to stop myself at one slice since I did have an entire dish to myself as well. I ordered the linguini (shrimp, scallops, chili flakes, saffron tomato broth) which was served with some grilled bread. The broth was delicious and that kick from the chili flakes was perfect. The shrimp and scallops were also cooked properly. No other words to describe my meal other than amazing! Of course, I saved room for dessert. I ordered the salted caramel pretzel budino and my husband had the poached pear. He generally does not partake on desserts but since the poached pear was seasonal, he didn't want to miss out. While the desserts were outshined by our meal, I thought my pudding was pretty good with the right amount of brittle and candied pretzel toppings to give some texture. Overall, we had a fantastic Friday night dinner and we will return soon! I didn't realize what we've been missing out on and wished we had come sooner.

One of my favorite meals in St. Louis, hands down! Starting from the moment we were seated, the manager was extremely attentive and friendly which was just the cherry on top for our dinner. Inside, it was lightly dimmed making the environment feel more intimate. The food itself was perfectly seasoned and portioned. The Cesar salad potatoes were addicting-- I couldn't stop eating them! The lobster pasta was one of my faves that had a nice kick to it.

Pass, average at best.

Beautifully designed restaurant in a great location. The star here is the gnocchi: roasted butternut squash, smoked pancetta, arugula and apple cider rosemary cream! Utter culinary perfection! Skip the grilled broccolini...too many competing flavors which do not gell well. I'm still coming to grips with what the heck all the hype about toasted ravioli but here they are freshly made (which defeats the"toasted" angle) but they were much better than the crap they serve on The Hill. Ordered the popular "OG" Pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni was deliciously crispy but the sauce was a major disappointment...and speaking of disappointment, the salted caramel, pretzel budino! Go for anything but the budino!

O+O was great!!!! Amazing service, very cute and cozy interior and delicious food!!!! We tried a ton of items and none of it disappointed. My favorite was the pasta. Not only was it beautiful but it was so rich and creamy, all you need is a few bites! We also loved the caesar salad and Mark's Meatball pizza. I don't think you can go wrong ordering here, everything was very high quality. Can't wait to go back!!!!

A lovely slow-dining experience. Everything we ordered, from the handmade toasted ravioli, to the linguini, to the chopped salad, to the pizza was filled with flavor and clearly created with care. The service was excellent - while the food came out quite slowly, the waitstaff kept our drinks refilled and checked in with us regularly. The atmosphere had a lovely buzz and yet was private enough to have conversation.

One of my favorite spots in the Lou! I always love coming here because it's always delicious and always feels special. We had a girls night here before heading to a concert and it really hit the spot. We ordered prosecco to drink for the table and had a variety of items to try. We're big on getting multiple things and splitting them. *whipped goat cheese- super delicious! The strawberries made it a bit sweeter * cacio e Pepe- the BEST. This is one of my favorite pasta dishes in stl. Chefs kiss, just do it. *fettuccine+ braised short rib- insane. The sauce was amazing. * the og pepperoni- the hot honey makes this so good! Service was great and even wrapped up our pieces of pizza individually to take along for the road. Always have a good experience here.

Simply the best! I'm now 3-3 when it comes to choosing on the whim restaurants to say for Sunday lunch/dinner. I've had my eye on this place for a while and decided today would be the day. I arrived shortly after they opened and was greeted by the hostess. Since it was hot, I chose to sit at the bar. Annalise was my server and immediately came to give me water and a menu. I asked for her opinion on the drinks and she said they start sweet and then go down. There were quite a few I had my eye on but ultimately decided on Holly Golightly. This drink was perfect for a day like today as it was sweet but not overpowering and overall refreshing. Food wise, I chose Arancini, the Caesar salad but sub. With white balsamic vinaigrette, and Casarecce Cacjo e Pepe. Note, she corrected me on my salad as they're meant to be dinner sized so she let me get a half, which was still plenty. After putting in my order, she offered bread and oil and let me tell you, THIS is where the magic happened. This bread was some of the best I've had in my life (looks like I'll be paying a visit to Union Loafers in the near future). The inside was soft and fresh, while the outside had a little crunch and was doused with sesame seeds (my fav!). The olive oil was out of this world, and you could truly taste how pure and fresh it was. Both were knockouts and it was extremely hard to control myself since I hadn't received my food yet. A little while later the Arancini arrived. This was the first time I've ever had pepperoni in arancini and it didn't disappoint! They're not the typical arancini size (little smaller), but they do come in a qty of 4. At this point, Annalise told me she timed it so everything else would come separately. I let her know I was ready for my salad. It took a little while to arrive but I was ecstatic when it did. The salad dressing was light (which I liked) and the Parmesan cheese and fresh cracked pepper were sprinkled on top. It was pretty delectable but after a few bites, I needed to box it up otherwise, there's no way I'd be able to try the main course. After getting it boxed up, the grand fínale finally arrived! I saved just enough room for a few bites and it did NOT disappoint. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the sauce was divine! Unfortunately, I had to get this boxed up as well because I was too full. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The food was on point, the service was impeccable and the vibe felt good and overwhelmingly positive. I'm so glad I came today and can't wait to come back!

There's a charming patio out front, if you want it. You can settle in for a long dinner, post up at the bar for the night, or grab a quick bite before heading out on the town. Bartenders are warm and approachable, and the in-house mixology is confident without any "we spent 30 hours perfecting this" pretense. The whole experience is like Sam Malone the bartender (save the drama) at Cheers: friendly, self-assured, the kind of place that makes you feel like you could spend all night there without anyone rushing you. We had a Paper Plane and an Old Fashioned -- the latter served over a custom ice cube stamped with a double ax (a nod to the wood fire). The cocktail list leans classic and reliable: if you know you like gin or vodka, you'll find something easy here. The espresso martini is the standout, it works as a dessert drink or any other time of the meal. We started with the Smorgasbord instead of our usual garlic knots (which are their own delicacy), and it didn't disappoint: toasted brioche with mascarpone and strawberry jam, several cured meats (capicola, prosciutto, pepperoni), parmesan, gouda, dried cherries, and chutney. My one nitpick; the pepperoni and gouda were tiny cubes, which makes them tough to grab cleanly compared to the sliced parmesan or rolled prosciutto. In this situation give the man a toothpick. The tallow-fried wings are, in my opinion, the best in St. Louis. The beef-tallow-and-potato-starch breading produces a tempura-like texture and crunch that keeps them light. Adventurous-but-classic sauces, bourbon butter BBQ, buffalo, and pineapple honey habanero (legitimately spicy; bring backup). The wings stand on their own without sauce. For pizza, we got the Napoli (tomato, fresh and smoked mozzarella, arugula, parmesan, black pepper, olive oil) -- her standing favorite. Expect proper Neapolitan: soft center, thin crust, charred crisp edge. Don't lift and bite fold it. (She insists: no fork. I use a fork - I know how dare I!) The pizza menu reads creative but never gimmicky; meat-lovers, vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-conscious diners all have real options. Before Kyle took over, Pizzeoli was known as a vegan-forward spot, and that flexibility lives on. We closed with the seasonal ice cream sandwich, fresh-pressed pizzelle wafers, crème brûlée ice cream, and a torched marshmallow cap. Excellent. A couple of practical notes: they're dinner-only (4-9:30) and the new reservation phone line is a robo call. Easier to use the online waitlist or book online directly. Pizzeoli is dressed-down-or-dressed-up friendly, kid-welcoming, and somehow works equally well for a pre-game stop or your dinner of the week. I've never had a bad dish here, and there are several I come back for specifically -- Lesley for the Napoli, me for the wings. 4.9 stars out of 5. If that toothpick shows up, a perfect 5. ;) Worth the trip across town, an hour drive for a long dinner, if it were open for lunch, the suggestion for two trips in one day would be welcomed or two-days in a row.

The area was very calm, clean, safe and had a sense of pride. I enjoyed the sights and sounds throughout the streets and by the time I arrived at the front door, I was super excited to eat. I was seated quickly at the bar and given a menu and water. The bar staff were friendly and pleasant to talk to and also took my order within a few minutes. The restaurant quickly filled up behind me and it was a lively environment. I really appreciated that the TVs had sports shows on (huge sports fan and was in town to visit Busch Stadium) so it gives you something to look at. I ordered the toasted ravioli and a tiramisu. As a solo traveler, I have to limit how much I can order so this was the perfect amount for me. The food was amazing and I wished that I could have tried more plates.
