A true neighborhood gem, built with love and history! Walking in, you can immediately feel the heart and history behind this place. It's clearly been loved by the community for years. There's plenty of seating, making it a great spot for a family dinner, and the prices are very reasonable. Just a heads-up--they only accept cash or check, so come prepared! We ordered a large pizza with bacon, green peppers, and onions. They were incredibly accommodating when my husband asked for only half the pizza to have the toppings he doesn't like, no problem at all. The owner's son was there and shared a bit about the family history, telling us about his father and grandfather who started the place. That personal touch made our visit even more special. The pizza arrived piping hot, just how I like it, gooey cheese, generous toppings, and full of flavor. They're definitely doing something right here. If you're looking for a cozy, welcoming spot for a weeknight dinner, this is it. Support local and give it a try!

I have ate here twice now. Both times were awesome! Best pizza in St Louis. You have to call an hour before you want your pizza because they are always busy. Very friendly workers. Place is small but definitely worth trying. It's a must try if you're in St Louis

I have been hearing a lot of my friends talk about their love of Pizza-A-Go-Go so it was time to finally try it. I called in our order for takeout, and it was ready fairly quick. When we arrived, there was a small parking lot but plenty of street parking! The staff were really kind, and we laughed about them writing the order down for Ryan instead of Brian. We got home, and the pizza was excellent! The right amount of crunch on the crust, toppings were great, and the cheese was perfect. Would love a little more sauce but I like my pizzas super saucy. Overall very impressed and will go back! General Note: Cash or Check Only!

Was looking to try a new pizza place and I wanted to do takeout since I was gonna watch the playoff basketball games. Excellently priced and it was a large 15 inch pizza. It was cooked to perfection. This place is definitely concentrating on the fundamentals as they don't have wings, sandwiches, etc And no goofy toppings like pineapple to put on pizza just all the basics like pepperoni, sausage, beef, and the standard fair and vegetables. I would definitely hit this place up again and if you're looking for good solid pizza done right this is it. As many other reviewers have mentioned cash or check only.

Yum!! Crispy crust with generous toppings. Friendly staff. Remember it is cash only. But also BYOB!

I tired this place for the first time today. It was pretty solid, it kinda remind me of Sam's Club/Chuckie Cheese pizza but less greasy. I think they are very reasonable, cash only. They don't open until 4pm. Service is fast, the pizza cooks in under 10 mins. Ambiance is an old skool vibe.

    Small Special

No glitz & glam just pizza, been wanting to try here for a while because I've heard good things and it was delicious, I got the Small Special- (Sausage, Pepperoni, Onion, & Green pepper) and it was only 14 bucks and I was able to make 3 meals out of it for myself! My boyfriend got a large pepperoni & bacon and did the same thing. Honestly not much to say besides it was decently priced yummy pizza. I will say I like an appetizer like a salad or fried cheese normally but they only have pizza on the menu, so if your looking for anything extra this isn't your place! I would order again though!

Our pizza. It was a "miss"

Is there any service that delivers your pizza. We live in wildwood and your pizza looks absolutely amazing?

Sorry Chris but we don’t deliver. If you get a chance or in the neighborhood of Pizza a go go to come by we will do the best we can to get you a great pizza.

Do they have an ATM onsite?

Sorry we do not but there is one available across the street at the bar Muser’s, thanks

I was visiting St. Louis for the first time and I wanted to try foods that St. Louis was known for…read more(according to online research) and toasted ravioli kept popping up. Being from the Bay Area in California, I had never heard of toasted ravioli so I added it to my itinerary. I found this place on Yelp and saw that Guy Fieri (another Bay Area native) had featured it on his show so I settled on Anthonino's. I walked over from the Botanical Garden on a Friday afternoon around 12pm so that I could get a better feel of the streets, locals, surrounding shops, and the Hill neighborhood. The area was very calm, clean, safe and had a sense of pride. I enjoyed the sights and sounds throughout the streets and by the time I arrived at the front door, I was super excited to eat. I was seated quickly at the bar and given a menu and water. The bar staff were friendly and pleasant to talk to and also took my order within a few minutes. The restaurant quickly filled up behind me and it was a lively environment. I really appreciated that the TVs had sports shows on (huge sports fan and was in town to visit Busch Stadium) so it gives you something to look at. I ordered the toasted ravioli and a tiramisu. As a solo traveler, I have to limit how much I can order so this was the perfect amount for me. The food was amazing and I wished that I could have tried more plates. The ravioli had great flavors and texture and the tiramisu was so creamy and fresh. I would definitely return if the opportunity presented itself. The customer service from all staff members was amazing! Thank you for this experience :)

While traveling through Missouri, my wife and I were looking for a place to have dinner. I searched…read moreYelp and came across Anthonino's. I also remembered seeing it featured on the Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, so we figured it had to be worth a try. When we arrived, we were asked if we had a reservation. We didn't, but noticed a few open seats at the bar and asked if we could sit there instead. The two bartenders welcomed us right away and told us they would take good care of us throughout the evening. My wife ordered an iced tea, and I started with an Old Fashioned. For an appetizer, we ordered the Toasted Ravioli ($14), which is handmade in-house and filled with ground beef, ricotta, and pecorino romano cheese, served with marinara sauce. It's one of the dishes featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. For dinner, my wife ordered the Chicken Marsala ($23), and I went with the Bolognese ($17), made with veal, pork, red wine gravy, cresta di gallo pasta, stracciatella, and Calabrian chili oil. The toasted ravioli arrived looking great. I tried one without the sauce first. The fresh pasta didn't fry up quite the way I expected. It was more flaky than crispy, and I was hoping for a little more crunch. The filling was decent but could have used a bit more seasoning and flavor. The marinara sauce also had a bitterness to it that wasn't my favorite. When our entrées arrived, both dishes looked and smelled wonderful. Unfortunately, the flavors didn't quite live up to the presentation. My wife's Chicken Marsala had good flavor overall, but the side pasta was very gummy, and the sauce again had a bitter note that seemed to overpower the dish. My Bolognese was the biggest disappointment of the evening. When I think of Bolognese or a rich meat ragù, I usually expect a wider pasta such as pappardelle. The cresta di gallo pasta wasn't my favorite choice for the dish, and it also had a gummy texture. The sauce itself suffered from the same bitterness that we noticed throughout the meal. Looking back, I probably should have ordered the Carbonara once I realized the Bolognese wasn't being served with the type of pasta I was hoping for. Overall, the meal was okay, but it didn't quite meet the expectations we had after seeing the restaurant featured on television and reading the reviews. The service was excellent, and the bartenders did a fantastic job taking care of us. While this visit was a bit disappointing, there were plenty of other dishes on the menu that looked great, and I would be willing to give Anthonino's another try and order something different.

Despite our large group, the server was excellent, providing friendly and efficient service throughout the entire evening. This is a pizza place, and I have Celiac Disease, so I did not eat this visit. However, my friends enjoyed hot appetizers and cheesy pizza slices. I was extremely impressed by the cocktail menu. I decided on a traditional margarita with a salt rim. It was great, good price too. They have many margarita flavors and add-ons to choose from. In terms of rims, you can pick from nothing, salt, sugar or tahin rim. There was plenty of free parking on the street near the restaurant. Bathrooms are a little outdated but clean and working just fine. The reason we came here for trivia was that the trivia really moves along since it's a weeknight. It was extremely well-attending with many teams (great friendly competition). The questions and rounds moved quickly and efficiently, starting easy and becoming very challenging. I would definitely return!
