I've used Imperial Plumbing for over 16 years and these guys are the best! They are responsive and their prices are reasonable! No price gouging with these guys and they know their stuff. I will only use them because the big companies only care about making money and not about the customer! I have had bad experiences with other plumbers and ended up calling Imperial to fix their work! Karen is a joy to talk to (she handles the calls and billing) and JR and Sonny are so kind! I've called stressed out due to floods and they always come over as quick as possible! Terrible service. Very unprofessional. I use to call them for plumbing and HVAC service before when they had a great young tech Steven. He did all the work at my house...great kid! The service went down the toilet lately bc Steven is no longer working there and other staff are no longer there. I recently called them to fix my AC and took a long time to diagnose the problem. They "fixed it" then broke down again in 6 weeks and charged me $450. They came back and gave me another diagnosis and would come back to finish. They left my system in the attic torn apart. Very questionable techs. The owner JR told me he would call me Monday for a quote and never did. I called the company to follow up and Karen said she told him but he never called. I called the next day to follow up but Karen didn't answer bc of caller ID. A week went by and no call. That's the kind of company they turned into...very unprofessional terrible service. If you're in need of work in your residence Don't bother calling them they will leave you hanging. Now I know why they're excellent work force left...their management sucks! read more

Warning: Bad business practice. This company tried to scam their client for only 3000$ and as a result, the association they worked even tried to foreclose our property with multiple threats for over a year long in which inevitably ran away from court without disputing their case. To be more specific, this plumbing company tried to blame an internal leak within the condo upon us and charged 225$ for 2 minutes of work and duct tape. Perhaps, they saw an opportunity to take an advantage against a minority that is not fluent with English, but regardless, it was inevitable that this company misjudged their opposition. I must reiterate once again, do not look towards this company for plumbing unless you're looking for a greedy/lazy/abusive company that lacks good principles and only wants your money for 2 minutes of work. read more

Only okay. Karen, their receptionist, isn't the nicest when you call. She acts like you are bothering her, and she never calls back when she says she will. The receptionist goes a long way, and she is not pleasurable to speak to. This alone makes me want to go somewhere else. This company does okay work. There are times they do a wonderful job and other times a so so job. Been working with them for a long time. Lately, I haven't been pleased so will probably find a new company to go with. read more

They are trying to stick me with a $2,000 bill for work performed on my neighbors unit, which I did not authorize and am not legally responsible for. This company was hired by our association to fix some leaks. Not only are they extremely unprofessional and do very shotty work, the workers they send out have no care or pride in the work they perform. See attached pictures of the work they did to fix an exterior leak around a balcony. I talked to one other homeowner regarding the work performed by this same company she she stated they have been dragging on her leak fix for months now and the work performed was similar in quality as ours. //Situation I live in a condo. The way our building is set up, I have a shared main pipe with my next door neighbor. So my kitchen drains into the same pipe as theirs does. And this is why my kitchen clogged up. But I would've never known how bad it really was until I called Imperial. //Service My service guy was Benny. If you are lucky enough to have him work on your problem, Benny is the best and will get the job done. He was prompt. Courteous. Wore booties the whole time he was inside my home. And did it all with a smile on his face. Even after an hour of snaking, testing, snaking again.. the man never complained and kept at it. He must've opened and retightened my drain three or four times. This clog just wouldn't go away. He ended up with sludge and grime on his face and just battled on. Dude was a plumber warrior on a mission. After about 2 hours.. we finally got to the problem and a light at the end of this clogged tunnel! Truly grateful for Imperial and for the service they stand by. Real honorable dudes. //Cost My problem ended up being covered by my HOA. So it's hard to comment on the cost of their service. But I'm here to tell you, these guys earn every cent that you pay them. They are legit!! //Final Thoughts My advice to you when dealing with Imperial (or any plumnber for that matter) is to be communicative. Stay friendly. Have lots of patience. Do not expect everything to go smoothly. Offer them refreshments or some fruits to give them a mini break when they are working their butts off on your plumbing problems. Two part story of clean water leak, Remediation and Restoration. This is Story Part 1, Remediation: Had clean water leak that took out ceiling. Imperial responded fast, and took care of remediation fast. Had HOA install PEX plumbing, since walls were opened, fast. Predatory plumbing company. Avoid at all cost. The owner thinks he does people a favor by charging them to fix their plumbing issues. He gets annoyed if you have questions. Glad I didn't accept their OVERCHARGING quote and went with another plumbing company who charged me $500 less for the same repair. To preface this review there are 2 more important things to know: I live in the Monaco Condos in Anaheim Hills and we use a hydronic heating system. We had a problem with our heating because we had a new water heater installed by a different company. This company was recommended by our HOA so I gave JR a call. We talked for a bit and he was able to name my model of condo and describe the inside layout based off of how much he had worked in our community. Needless to say we haven't been home for awhile due to no heat during the coldest part of winter. JR was able to send Steven out the same day and I was hesitant to pull the trigger because he was going to rework the existing plumbing but I'm glad I did. Most recently my water heater broke and they were able to replace it the next day. Big Scammers They did a re-pipe at my next door condo and shut off my water. When I talked to Ivan he said I had a small leak in my pipe in the same wall but I could not see it. I told him to turn my water back on he refused and said he could not touch it but he touched it 2 minutes before when he turned it off. I turned it back on myself. Weeks later I received a HOA assessment on my account for $495. They went straight to my HOA. I never spoke to anyone with the company I never called the company, he never asked me if he could touch my main shut off valve. He just did it. Avoid this scamming low life company and don't pay their fraudulent bills. Call the contractor State licensing board and have Lic. No 1059396 shut down. read more

Wrong diagnosis of the leak source. Instead of fixing the issues, made up stories to exaggerate the problems to charge me extra for nonrelevant issues. Spent an hour at my house, problems not fixed, no real proper solution suggested. Instead, left holes on my walls and walked away. No immediate follow up afterwards. As a result, had to call another company that had to charge me more for weekend service but got the problem resolved in an hour. Definitely won't use this company again! read more

HURLEY HEATING AND AIR was recommended and I had him come out this summer...he put a bandaid on my problem (which he was honest and told me what it was) and was very happy with his service....he recommended IMPERIAL PLUMBING HEATING AND AIR who came out today and put another bandaid on my heat pump to give me a little more time to replace my old unit...he also explained it was just a temporary fix.....both very nice and honest...hard to find these days...please support these local businesses :). My neighbor and I needed a new air/heating unit. We both checked all prices in the area for over one year and found IMPERIAL PLUMGING to be the BEST AND THE CHEAPEST. They replaced the unit in both of our condo's and stand behind the product and included labor. We also had them put in a soft water unit and not the cheap one from Home Deport or Lowe's. At the height of our recent severe heat wave, my elderly mom's A/C went out. They of course were booked into the next week, but were willing to "work her in" for a check up on the same day of my call. They were honest in the eval. of the 24 year old unit and were able to repair, with the warning that it is unknown how much longer it would last. But for now, she has air again. read more
