This is the best nail salon in the area. It's a very personal experience and John the owner works very hard to keep repeat clients. His work is guaranteed, and he does a phenomenal job. This was my first time coming here as a walk in on a Friday evening and knowing they were closing at 7:00 and it was already past 6 I was worried they would not take me..but when I walked in the gentlemen was happy to. Asked for the deluxe pedicure and it includes foot massage and hot stones on the legs! Great for tired muscles. Completely worth it and Hana was very kind and attentive. Very clean set-up with removable plastic in the foot jacuzzi. Will be going back! read more

I visited here today for my first time. So friendly and accommodating and clean (including the bathroom).  On your second visit you receive your own box with brand new files ect. Mindy did a great job on my pedicure, eye brow waxing and Hannah did a great job on my manicure!  This going to be my regular nail place.  So far, I highly recommend! read more

Just had my first pedicure at Impulse Nails. Very nice, clean atmosphere. I arrived around 3:30 Thursday afternoon and there was no one there. Was immediately greeted by I believe the owner and brought to one of their pedicure massage chairs. I chose a shellac color from the large selection they have. He was very pleasant and friendly. They offer water, soda, and wine while you get your pedicure. I just got a regular pedicure, which was $30, with shellac for an extra $10. The regular pedicure I received here was better than many "delux" pedicures I have received at other salons! It includes callus removal, exfoliating scrub, lotion, and hot towel. I am 8 and a half months pregnant, so my feet were quite neglected before stepping into Impulse Nails. He did a great job, and my feet feel absolutely fantastic. Definitely recommend, and will definitely be returning! read more

Love Impulse Nails! I've been going here for over a year, and Impulse Nails is my go-to for my Mani & Pedi's. The salon is extremely clean, bright and airy, the artists are attentive and gentle, and the quality is excellent. This was my first time coming to the salon, which I based on all the positive reviews. The first guy who started on my nails had trouble shaping them to my liking and left some bubbles in the gel. He asked another guy, Dieter, to finish them and he did an amazing job! He is very quick and paints with a certain technique to get the color all the way to the cuticle and he's fast! Just had the best mani/pedi that I've had in a while. More comes with the standard mani/pedi than most other places around, but it only took an hour for both. It was really clean, super relaxing, and the prices are right on point too! I never take the time to write reviews but I had the absolute best experience here. Service was very friendly and courteous, They thanked me for giving their business a try, and offer a discount card for returning customers ($10 off after 10 visits). After refusing to go back to my old nail salon, I needed to find a place I could trust. I loved my nail tech but the atmosphere where I had been was not warm and friendly. Sadly you were just another walk in unless you were one of the head phone guys favorites. In my search I found a newly opened Impulse Nails. Walking in I actually got greeted with a smile even being five minutes late and last minute customer before closing. Who had mind you nails that were a hot mess due to a fall. My nail tech was educated on different ways to put on permenant nails, which I loved the choices. The fill I used was a colored powder that your nail slides into your chosen color then the nail gets tapped to free any loose powder. Repeat 2-3 times and your done. No light that burns like the dickens and less time. Care was taken to make sure my needs were met and I was offered bottled water. Conversation was welcomed which made the appointment very pleasant. The space was clean and bright. Looking forward to many fills in my future. read more

Starting off with I made a yelp just for this place and I don't do stuff like this but Ive never felt so embarrassed and disrespected. I went in today to get a simple fill and fix one nail. I walked in the man was friendly I told him when my appt was and he said okay and said to pick my color. Well a different man walks over and said can I help you? I said yes my appt was at 5:30. Meanwhile I called and made an appt an hour and a half before and drove 30 min. I was using my gps and took one wrong turn so I was five minutes late my mistake but still at least treat me like a human being. The employee gave me a dirty look and said salons full we can't help you, your late. I had already picked my nail color it was in my hand. He said I was to late and needed to leave loudly I was SO embarrassed. I pleaded with him I just needed one nail fixed and it was the only day I could and I drove so far. Just said no, not can you come back. So rude I've never been treated like that before at any nail salon or any place period. Ive never been asked to leave before, I was humiliated in front of other woman staring at me because he was speaking so loudly . I will NEVER go here again and I will never let my family or friends go here. Worst service I've ever had. If I could rate 0 stars I would. read more

Extremely great customer service! Went in for a basic pedicure and they didn't try to push extra services (shellac, mani and pedi etc.) on me like most other salons i've been to, which I appreciated. I visited Impulse Nails today on the recommendation of a friend. This is the best nail salon I've ever been to! The owner is very friendly and does an amazing job. He's very meticulous! It's so nice to go to an extremely clean salon as well. I got a shellac mani/pedi and was so pleased with the result. I wish I had come here a long time ago--I've been to a few places in Concord that don't come close to the quality and customer service of this salon; I will definitely keep coming here for regular shellac manicures. I should have read the signs when I walked in for a first time appointment at 11am on a Thursday and there were NO customers in the shop. A somewhat stout 35ish male tech was friendly enough and encouraged me to have a seat and get started on a basic mani/pedi. Toes went well, started the nails and I paid with my credit card, included a decent tip, before the final paint was done. For the first time EVER i accidentally nicked TWO of my nails on the way into the dryer. I apologized and man he got angry! He lost all sense of humor, accused me repeatedly of being impatient and DISRESPECTFUL of his work. I disputed his accusations and explained it was just a mistake only to have him plug his ears with headphones and ignore me completely thru the drying process. As he repaired my nails he complained that he hates working and his boss will take part of his tip because I put it on my CC. There was more, but you get the gist. It was awful. It is Monday and my french manicure is chipped all over, by the way. Owner was very young and quite detached from it all going on. read more
