The front desk staff was very helpful -- walking me through the consent forms, showing me the changing area, and helping me set the password for my locker. After changing, you're given a robe and slippers. The robe is incredibly soft and almost weighted, which added to the comfort. It even has pockets for your jewelry or glasses. Phones are not allowed in the treatment area, and no video/photo is permitted past the changing room, which I appreciated (and respected) for privacy. The facial itself was extremely relaxing. The music was at the perfect volume, and the room lighting was dim without being too dark -- just enough to enhance the experience. The service included a hand and arm massage with hot stones and warm compresses, which was such a nice touch. One minute I was getting a scrub, and the next I was waking up -- it was that relaxing. They also have a retail area at the front where you can purchase the products used during your service. Overall, a wonderful first spa experience. Yet after her treatment, she said my skin looked "amazing" which left me a bit confused. It's hard to believe that anyone's skin could go from "terrible" to "amazing" with an hour of treatment. She told me to stop my current skincare regimen if I wanted better skin. When I asked about alternatives to my current routine, her responses were rather vague. I was left feeling uncertain about how to improve my skincare routine. I contacted the place and even though they were nice about it, they would not refund my money. I know it is a risk anytime that you do injectables but to do this to a customer and then charge them $730 for it, doesn't sit right with me.
