Upset with this location. Today is 2.23.23 I traveled from Tucson to Avondale visiting family. Ordered 3 protein style cheeseburgers Come to the window to pay and they have me down for 4. My son chimes in and says I'll eat and extra one it's cool. I get my order open the bag. It's with buns. Incorrect order. Come inside to address the issue. They say it's fine and remake it. The add we can't do anything with the incorrect order you can keep them. I'm like well a mistake is a gift fine I'll give them to my brother when I arrive at there home. As I am waiting the same team lead / manager thicker Latina. Pulls it off the counter. This is the same one who stated I could keep the order. I asked her if I could get the bag. The absolute BEST cheeseburgers around. First stop in Phoenix was this In-N-Out Burger. Don't have any in South Florida, so when traveling out west, visiting one (or more !!) is a given. Extremely professional, welcoming and courteous staff at all levels consistently in every location that I've visited. Very prompt service with my food made to order each and every time ! Ah my sweet In-N-Out Burger. A California staple that will always have a spot in my heart. Since moving to AZ I have been here more than a handful of times. Every In-N-Out I have been to has never disappointed me when it came to their food. You always have the taste of fresh ingredients! My usual is the 4x4 Protein style with grilled onions which is perfectly paired with a side of fries. Also, since I can't have enough protein I usually opt to get a flying Dutchman as well, which is just cheese in between two meat patties. On a side note, they recently added a new item to their menu after 15 years...Hot Chocolate made with real chocolate chips! I moved from California mid August and haven't had a chance to hit up In-N-Out until today. It was bomb! I usually go to In-N-Out once a month back home. When I walked in I thought I was back home for a minute and felt happy, then I got sad cause I realized I was in AZ, then I got excited when my order was called. Can't wait to go back. Yo...... I love In N Out. I think they are the most consistent place out there, they are inexpensive, fresh and tasty. That applies for most of them.....this is only the 2nd time out of probably 100s of times that I have been to an In N Out and was not completely impressed. I placed my usual order of a Double Double with no tomato, both kinds of onions, and an order of fries. Had a water to drink. A little over $5.50. Service was friendly but the food was "off". My burger was not piping hot....the patties were warm but not hot. The spread was also "off". I could taste a huge hint of mayo in the spread. I know its made with mayo but they usually blend/cut that shit so well with the ketchup and relish, you never even get a hint of mayo taste. I had more than a few bites with straight mayo taste. It was not good at all. The produce seemed a little off too. The onions had a weird "bite" to them. Besides the Goleta In N Out, this was the worst In N Out Burger that I have had. The fries were pretty good as usual. Nothing wrong there. I'm pretty sure I will not come back to this particular one. While this wasn't my first In-n-Out experience, it was my first in a over a decade and I have to say, I remember it a lot better than it actually is. OK, don't get worked up. It just didn't thrill me. It was fresh, well made and just fine. I just don't want to build a temple in the building and worship it like others seem to! I got a double double with onion (and when they mean with onion, they mean it!), fries and a chocolate shake. I liked the burger (could have done without the special sauce, which to me is just thousand island), liked the fries, although they needed more salt and loved the shake (perfect consistency and chocolatey taste). And I heard it for YEARS. Today, I hit In-N-Out for a great burger and an amazing price, even though it's not the religious experience some rank it as. Literally. For a few on my colleagues and friends, ordering a "Double-Double" is a straight-up analog for taking sacrament. A few things I like about In-N-Out are that the chain keeps the food simply and yummers; the staff is almost always super fast and friendly (not like some chains that seem to hire anyone with a pulse); the store is kept clean; and they get the orders right. OMFG on the latter item. It the core job of anyone in the service industry to create and accurate order, and yet, I can count the restaurants that do it well on two hands. read more

During this time there is only drive thru available. In and Out has this so organized and fast. The line was so very long, but we got through in 10 - 15 minutes. He initially drew my attention because of his constant smile and greeting of every diner. Always cleaning something as he did so.
