Today was the day that I decided to try In-N-Out. It's not that I've been avoiding this place. It's just the fact that we have The Habit, Cal Taco, and Chubbies. They all offer a pretty solid burger and are all at the same price point. So, why bother? First, I was impressed with how clean it is. I think this place has been here for over ten years now and it still looks brand new! Second, was the incredible happy 'tude that everybody had in the place including the customers. Third, the food was real fresh tasting. Taste was about on the same level as the aforementioned above but the cost might be 50 cents less for a combo. The other two points elevate it up a notch. I wish I could give this five stars however the customer service was beyond horrible. One of the associates Sienna had a disrespectful attitude, she was rude to the other employees while completely not doing anything and others were working their ass off. Okay, I have a burger weakness and In-N-Out always hits the spot. I am always surprised as the price as usually pay more for a good burger! It was super busy but they seemed to move the two lines of cars through very efficiently. It is a sort of mcdonalds but better. The problem is, Hamburger gourmet is now en-vouge and you can do a lot better. Five Guys, Smash Burger, Plan B, etc So yeah, if its between this and Wendy's Mcdonalds, go for it but I think you can do better. read more

Love this place! I'm assuming anyone reading this has at least heard wonderful stories of how In-N-Out delivers low prices, great tasting burgers and fries with honest ingredients, and this location is definitely no exception. Of the several times I've come here, it's always packed, but the wait times are always reasonable. I was hungry and devastated to see my number was about 30 from being called, but it probably only took about 10 minutes. Even with customization, my orders were never messed up, and of course tasted heavenly. Workers were all smiles, everything seemed clean, and the workers were pretty attentive, wiping down tables immediately after people left. Can't really complain! If you're an In-N-Out fan, don't worry, come through. This is a great location. If you've never tried...you're seriously missing out. Don't wait!! read more

What do you say about an In-N-Out that you don't already know? First: We arrived at lunch right after a conference had ended and I brought 16 people. There were probably another 50 people there from the conference as well, and this In-N-Out was not fazed. They handled the crowd, and the food was as good as it gets. Second: Very friendly crew. I live in Florida so anytime I see an In-N-Out burger and I'm even a little bit hungry I pull in because it's such a treat. This last trip to California we tried the new Seaside location (Monterey is the next town) and it was as good/fast/spotless and super organized as always. My friends all ordered off the "secret menu" animal style but I actually love the regular way - single burger the usual way with cheese and onions added. You would think with 4 lines of cars outside that stretched all the way to the road the service might slip but we had our food in about 10 minutes and the entire order, special requests and all, was perfect. Love this place. 5 stars for sure. read more

I am usually a regular at this in-n-out but the past THREE times I've came to this location I have had a horrible experience with a particular employee who works the handout window. I am not one to really look at employees name tags unless they are kind but an employee named Annette has had such a horrible attitude. I usually like to give people the benefit of the doubt but after three times, I had had enough. I don't think someone like this should be working a service position at a job that has so many respectable employees. I would be severely disappointed if I were to come back and see her still working a position where she interacts with customers. read more

They closed at 1 am. I was in the drive thru line by 12:50 AM. The worker taking orders outside went inside around 12:55 am and didn't take any orders after that. My order along with every car behind me was not taken. I thought it'd be taken at the window or the speaker. Instead they made every car wait another 20 mins only to find out that they were not taking orders anymore. They should have notified every car that they were closed right when they made the decision to stop taking order. Instead of making us all wait in line for an extra 20 mins. Horrible way to close. Not sure if their manager was not working that day or what. Notify the customer that you are closed. Do not make them wait until they get to the window to be told they are closed. read more

Not too shabby, In-N-Out. I'm always happy to come here because of the quick service and delicious Animal Style-burgers, plus it's the only one within driving distance of Santa Barbara! I'm not a picky person per se, but I can't stand pickle chips. Little bits and pieces used in relish and that sweet, sweet In-N-Out spread, yes. But a full pickle chip makes me want to gag a bit. This In-N-Out, unlike many others I've been to, has never messed up an order of mine (double-double Animal Style, no pickles, fries, and a Neapolitan shake), which is fairly impressive. As someone with intolerance to some foods, I'm always impressed when a place makes your order exactly how you want it, and doesn't mess up your order because they think you're just too picky. The servings are pretty solid; they're generous with the cheese and spread here, which makes for a mess but tastes delicious. They're also great with giving you a large portion of fries, rather than skimping and not packing the little tray. Prices are steadily increasing by nickels and dimes but it's still the cheapest place to get a burger in Santa Barbara. read more

This being the only In-N-Out in town it gets jam packed with hungry people and the wait can last a good 30 minutes. I'd recommend ordering through the drive thru if it's short because you get to jam out while you wait. However, if that's too long then inside will be a long wait too. Either way you end up with a fresh burger and hot fries. It's a great place to get late night dinner from because they're open till 1am usually. And their ice cream machine always works. read more

I go to in n out a good amount, the only thing that happened this evening was when I got to the restaurant at 1:20am when the restaurant says they are open till 1:30am. I worked a double shift and was very hungry and usually they allow it but this time was over the top rude. When I went in the drive in the workers saw me and talked then turned there faces the other way instead of telling me that there closed when they really shouldn't be. I wait there for five minutes to just all the workers not paying any attention to me and they knew I was there because they were looking Straight at me and thought it was funny ignoring me. This is very rude towards the consumer that's trying to buy food. It was uncalled for and a waist of my time and money going to a place that says it's open and was closed early and was treated horrible and ignored. So if your looking to come 20 to 10 minutes before closing don't even try to go your either going to get locked out witch that happened to me when they closed early but that's a whole other story I wouldn't even go here anymore because of how rude the staff was to me. This all could have been resolved in a matter of an employee saying "hey sorry we're closing early" that would have been fine but to be ignored and feeling not noticed was not ok! read more

I like In N Out though it's not my favorite burger. This would also never be my favorite location because the wait is long, even when it's slow here on a Monday night. I've had melted shakes here and the "well done" fries sometimes hardly differ from the regularly cooked fries.
