I am glad that I found Shawarma Shack! It's a simple shawarma place that allows you to make your own wrap, bowl, or plate! The chicken shawarma wrap I had was really good! I had rice as my base, all free toppings, two different sauces on the side. I love the spicy shack sauce. It's a perfect lunch or dinner place when you want something light but super delicious!

Great place!!! First timer! Explained to the cashier I was sent to San Diego to work from LA. Cashier was awesome and helped me every step of the way. You can basically build your own entree. I ordered a falafel wrap, no tomato or lettuce. I didn't want it to sog up my wrap. I'm not a big eater and cashier offered to cut in half and wrap one of the halves Togo. I loved the wrap!! I love the garlic sauce even more! Next time I'm going to ask for more on the side! The rice was flavorful and paired great with the falafel!

Got our order for pick up and it was a good experience. With online order I thought maybe it wouldn't be as seamless but they did a good job at customization. The flavors were pretty on point and I would say they chicken Shawarma burrito was a perfect thinness on the wrap versus a traditional tortilla wrap that you would find at Kebab Shop. The plates and everything else was pretty good. The yellow rice was buttery and plentiful. We got an à la cart order of the rice and the fries and 16 ounce chicken. I would say we ordered way too much chicken because my kids probably ate half of that. Good taste, good food and good price for the value and amount I would love to revisit and try their tacos.

Very solid Mediterranean food! My friend and I get the bowls and they never disappoint! Good portions and great flavors! Love their gyro meat more than any other place I've tried in SD. And all their dipping sauces are bomb. Garlic aioli is my personal fave and the tzatziki is my friends.

Tried Shawarma Shack and loved it! I got the kebab beef bowl and baba Ghanoush, and my sister had the chicken tikka wrap with fries. Everything was delicious! The team was super welcoming and helpful with recommendations. We even got lucky enough to meet the owner, JR. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great food and great vibes![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend!

I tried the beef shawarma bowl and enjoyed it. I think there are a lot of great flavors within the bowl. I enjoyed the customizable options for toppings and bowl fillings. Nothing that stands out too much but overall I did enjoy this meal and It is convenient that they actually have a parking lot to make picking up much easier than most places on garnet.

Amazing. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll have to make it a priority to stop here. I had the shawarma tacos and it was so incredibly delicious. 10/10

Junior preparing a beautifully catered Mediterranean meal for 60 guests.

5 Stars !!! Outstanding catering and service. We had Shawarma Shack (Garnett Ave, Pacific Beach) cater a backyard event for about 60 people, and it was absolutely fabulous! Junior handled everything perfectly--arriving a bit early to scope out the space, setting up beautifully, and staying long enough to make sure everyone was well-fed. The menu included beef and chicken kebabs, shawarma, basmati rice, tzatziki, and fresh salad--all perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Every single guest raved about the food. We even had leftovers, and Junior kindly packed them up in a tray for us to enjoy later. Considering the quality, the quantity, the professional presentation, and having a dedicated person serving our guests, the value was excellent. I would 100% recommend Shawarma Shack for any catered event--you and your guests will be thrilled.

Love this place. The customer service is genuinely kind and welcoming, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the vibe is super relaxing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was amazing--the chicken shawarma wrap and kebab bowl were full of flavor, the fries were perfectly crispy, and the baba ganoush was so good. The spicy shack sauce is a must, it seriously takes everything to the next level. Definitely coming back. Jr-the owner, deserves a Michelin star!

We went here today and oh my! Nicole is one of the best. So kind and helpful. This place is a must! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Really nice and clean environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Very friendly staff. But I can't rave enough about Nicole. Next time we are in town we will go back.

There were a good amount of happy hour drink specials & fun Greek meze offerings. Sometimes you want a full meal & sometimes you want to snack, sip & graze. Meze delivered exactly that experience. We opted for the cilantro jalapeño hummus with pita chips & it was not your ordinary hummus. Savory, creamy & packed with flavor, it had just the right hint of spice to keep things interesting. We were seated fairly quickly (outside) and our server was attentive. Thankfully it wasn't too hot and they had umbrellas to give us some shade. Both items ordered (chicken kabob and hummus) were decent. Chicken was juicy. Hummus, pretty standard. One star was taken off because the pita bread was too cakey/soggy and the rice was rather bland. Otherwise, it was nice environment and place for lunch and reprieve in the midst of comicon madness.

A new Mediterranean spot in San Diego? Say less…read more I came here with friends, and it was a first-time visit for all of us. The moment we walked in, the space made an impression. The decor is gorgeous, warm, and stylish, with beautiful blue tones throughout -- which already won me over because blue is my favorite color. Our server, Emily, was fantastic. She was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely added to the experience. Great service can make a good meal better, and she absolutely did that. Now let's talk about the food, because they did not miss. At all. I ordered the salmon, and it was masterfully prepared. Perfect texture, full of flavor, and the sauce was the kind of sauce you keep going back to even after you swear you're done. My friends had the lamb, chicken, and beef plates, and everything at the table looked and tasted like it was made with real care. The salads were crisp and fresh, and the dressings were bright, flavorful, and balanced. And then there was the espresso martini. Honestly? Best I've ever had. No notes. The owners and staff were also genuinely kind and welcoming, which gave the whole experience that extra "we'll definitely be back" feeling. This is officially my new favorite Mediterranean restaurant in San Diego.

The menu was a bit confusing, but I know that I like grilled veggies and Greek salad and then Ike was able to pick my protein that I wanted so that seemed easy enough. The base price with falafel or chicken Shawarma was Close to $16 but since I chose the meat, they added two dollars to my total. It took about 10 minutes for them to assemble my meal, but my veggies were cooked fresh on the stove, which was really nice. They tasted very freshly cooked just as they would as if I had cooked them myself at home. I was there about 1245 on a Monday and there were a few people there and they had some takeout orders so my order took about 10 minutes before I could walk out the door with it. They had a nice condiment bar where you could pick out some yogurt with dill sauce and then they're famous garlic yogurt sauce, as well as a jalapeño sauce And another spicy hot one that I would never try. When I got back to the jury room to eat my meal, I saw that there was a nice quantity of the fresh salad and the grilled vegetables but the meat was piled high! The employees were working efficiently and the place was spotless and orderly.
