I had a disappointing experience at this In-N-Out location. During my visit, the cashier taking my order was inattentive and came across as dismissive. While I was placing my order, she began repeating it back incorrectly and added an extra hamburger that I had not requested. When I attempted to clarify that I had ordered three hamburgers, I was interrupted and told, in a condescending manner, that she had already "got it." Unfortunately, the issues continued when I received my order. Two of the fries I had specifically requested "animal style" were prepared as regular fries instead. This experience felt frustrating and avoidable. Clear communication and attentive listening are essential in customer service, and I hope this location can reinforce those standards with staff particularly for employees handling customer orders. Terrible experience here, would not recommend. First off, the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and there was no toilet paper, which is unacceptable for any restaurant. Then our order was wrong. I specifically asked for a 3-patty, no cheese, whole grilled onion wrap with chopped onions, and they didn't include the chopped onions at all. I also asked for a side of lettuce and spread for my mom when ordering, but they didn't add it. When I asked for it at pickup, the staff seemed irritated, which made the situation even worse. Friendly drive-thru service. Quick to respond and easy to take in my specific requests for my In-N-Out meal. Without adding anything extra my single patty cheeseburger meal came out to $10.11. We are far away from the days when a cheeseburger combo at In-N-Out was under $9. Very minimal foot traffic inside from what I can see waiting in the drive thru. This location looks clean. I usually love In-N-Out, but this visit missed the mark. I ordered a cheeseburger, a 3x3x3 grilled onion wrapped, and a mustard-grilled Flying Dutchman, also onion-wrapped, and fries . The cheeseburger was the only thing that tasted right, everything else was so salty it was like they took a bath in salt before hitting the grill. I couldn't even finish my meal, which felt like a total waste of money. On the bright side, the line was long as usual, but the service was impressively fast. I've given up hope on this In-N-Out location. Time after time, my food is either cold or clearly not fresh. Fries are always overcooked and taste like oil. This is now the second time I've been served an undercooked, raw burger and that's completely unacceptable. I ordered a simple double plain cheeseburger with spread and instead got something that felt like a health risk. If the cooks here can't consistently cook a burger, then there's a serious training problem that needs to be addressed. I was craving in n out so bad after a long time of dieting and not being able to have carbs. I was so excited for fries with spread & chilis. Unfortunately, when I got my order it didn't reflect what I had ordered. The guy at the window seemed too rushed to even grab some chilies, ketchup or spread. I have celiac and notified them of no gluten, no cross contamination that I would like four mustard grilled(fried) patties. This is annoying one because I could have ordered puppy patties but I already am not able to have the cheese due to lactose intolerance but now you take away the mustard too. Dine in was full and the drive through line has out into the street, 9PM on a Friday. From walk in to receiving our order was almost 15 minutes. Everything was fresh, hot and 100% In & Out standards. Shoulda had 2 cashiers running. - They always toss napkins in with the exposed spread, making them dirty before you even get to use them. Why don't they separate them so the napkins stay clean? When I went, women's restroom was closed. So they had a system where only one gender occupied the men's restroom at a time. My niece went in to get us food around 12:30 am. 1 cheeseburger, double toasted bun and animals fries. She did the same for me but got animal style burger plus animals fries and 2 Dr peppers. This In-N-Out is in Kettleman City and we were on our way up to the Bay Area. We decided to stop here to grab a late dinner. It was hot on this July night (100 plus degrees). We got the double-double protein-style along with fries and pink lemonade to wash it down. It's your typical In-N-Out with the busy and efficient staff turning out good food at an amazing pace. The store was busy and there were few seats available. Definitely a good stop for us. This is for sure the best restaurant in this rest stop. read more

Wherever I go, I default to an in-n-out for lunch. This location happened to be the closest to where I was. I ordered a #3 combo with onions and light well fries. The order took about 10 minutes to be ready. The hamburger was just as good as any other location. Bun was nicely toasted. Onions and lettuce were crunchy. The meat was nicely cooked and flavorful. The fries were a bit overcooked but still tasty. Overall, quality at this location was consistent with the many other locations that I've visited. No complaints. read more

What's there to say? I'm an out of towner making my ritual out of town trip to In-N-Out. Got my usual 2 double double burgers animal style and a soda because the fries are never worth getting and the only thing worth getting 2 of is the burger. Service is the same as it is at every In-N-Out. Solid. I was shocked though that this location isn't as busy as the ones I've been to in the past. I was able to get a table with ease after ordering. I was shocked. Great experience overall. I enjoyed the burgers and most likely will get a heart attack from eating 2 in one sitting, but it hasn't been my first time doing so and it probably won't be the last time I do that. Honestly, one burger isn't enough. You got to get 2 otherwise, you'll be making another trip later on in the day. Why waste your time traveling again when you can just have it again right away. So yes, my recommendation is to always get 2 unless you've eaten a bit already, then just get 1. But no fries! What else can I say... I love In-N-Out with a passion. It's been my go-to fast food burger for over a couple decades now, ever since I was a young little rascal. If you don't know how In-N-Out works, their menu is extremely simple - it's essentially just a burger, fries and a drink (or a shake if you're feeling naughty). Prices have been cheap ever since I've ate here for the first time and remain cheap even through this current period of massive inflation where other restaurants have significantly hiked up their prices due to rising food and labor costs. Don't get it twisted - just because the menu is simple doesn't mean ordering is necessarily simple. You could literally customize your burger with countless modifications: extra toasted buns, fried mustard, whole grilled or regular grilled onions, chopped chilis, extra of whatever veggie, protein style, etc. You could also control how crispy or soft you want your fries... I personally like my fries 'light well' - pretty crispy outside but still soft and fluffy inside. And lets not forget to mention ordering your burger and fries 'Animal Style' when you're feeling really ravenous. Anyway, if it's your first time trying In-N-Out, I say you go bare bones and get a regular cheeseburger with grilled onions, light well fries, and a soda. Average wait can be between 20-30 min on a busy day. My burger has been great about 75% of the time. There are some days when it practically falls apart from how wet it is. If not brush up on them on the internet before you go because the menu board is simple, but all the extras are not and it's up to you to know them. You might ponder it before you get there so you don't hold up the line $4.85 for a Double-Double Cheeseburger?? Are you kidding me? Nowhere on the East Coast are you going to get this kind of deal for 2 patties and 2 slices of cheese cooked when you order it. Animal Style it with special spread and caramelized diced onion. At Five Guys, Shake Shack or Smashburger, you'll easily pay $10 just for a burger. And the Fries! So fresh, that I was mesmerized by the guy violently slamming the potatoes through the manual fries cutter and dropping the fry basket into the hot oil. You can order then WELL DONE if you like them darker and extra crispy, but regular is the way I like them. Late night, I like them Animal Style also, with melted cheese, spread and cooked diced onion. Don't forget the milkshake, Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry or all 3 in a Neapolitan shake. Or mix it up and get a Root Beer Float like an old style burger drive-in. I love their upbeat service. During meal times and all the way until the end of shift at 1am, the In-N-Out crew are working like demons behind the counter! When the drive-thru line gets long they send 1 or 2 guys out to work the line with hi-tech mobile ordering gizmos slung on their shoulders. One of these days if I'm on vacation in Cali by myself, I would either eat every meal at In-N-Out or gorge myself with a 10x10! I might skip the Animal Style though. read more

I heard their opening weeks had lines of people waiting hours to place an order. Wow! It is a well known fact that Americans wish they would open all over the US, but if a city is not within a few hundred feet of a distribution center, they will not get to experience these beloved burgers. Everything here is fresh. The staff arrives at 6am daily to start slicing and cutting all the veggies hours before opening. I love that they stay open past midnight so you can always get your fill of a good burger craving, even real late at night. If you're an In-N-Out regular like me, you'll know that the opening 1/2 hour of 11am is the only time that you will not have to wait at all for your meal. But after 11:30am, you will usually wait 15-20 minutes for your burgers. The drive-thru lines will take the longest, and they'll always be cars wrapped around the block from lunch time 'til just before midnight. And that says it. read more
