Hard to go wrong with In-N-Out as it is always consistent with the same pros and cons. The service is great and as efficient as can be, and you're always going to get a tasty meal with quality ingredients. On the flip side, you're going to either be waiting a long time in the drive thru or a long time in the restaurant lobby because it feels like there's not a second of the day where the place isn't packed and surrounded by hungry customers. So much so that I ate in the restaurant and when I went to leave my car was boxed in for an additional 15 minutes just to leave the parking lot with the drive thru traffic. Outside of the crowds I rarely run into issues, other than the ketchup dispenser seems to be empty whenever I go. The popularity is for good reason and it can still be worth the effort, but I would recommend, if you're in a rush, parking closer to other restaurants in the next lot over and walking into the lobby and ordering to go. read more

We know better than to come here during lunch hours, but here we are. All the tables were full, some by people with take-out orders. There is a bench to wait for take-out, which was empty. The dining room attendant, Bruce, was friendly and attentive. As soon as the tables were vacant, he was right there to wipe the table down. He also makes sure every kid get an IN-N-OUT paper hat. The restaurant in sparks was the next closest, however, the drive through was always a disaster to navigate and wait times were significant. Food was always good. The one south of town has a more steady speed and drive through experience, and the staff is great. Food was average. This one is fast, orderly, clean and the staff is very friendly. The food is always how we order, without a single mistake ever being made. And it's FRESH! I have heard rumors that every In-N-out has its own little stigma, or things they are known for. This one is known for its extremely strict policies. This may be the reason for its exceptional quality. My only hope is the workers get well praised. read more

Hey every single time I come here and ask for a fry extra well, it is never extra well. Often it is not even well. It's not letting me upload the photos I took today but today was particularly egregious because I even told the person on handheld to please radio the person on fries and emphasize the "extra well," even hyperbolically said "burn my fries," and then when I got them, they weren't even light well, they were regular fries. I went inside and complained and they remade my fry and it was just barely well done. But this happens every single time I never get extra well fries (I worked at In-n-out I know what extra well fries are supposed to be). We waited 57 minutes for cold food, unmixed shake and terrible service. DON'T go inside the restaurant on 5th. Drive thru gets preference over those who go inside. Cars going through the drive the in 1/3 the amount of time - not an exaggeration. I'm sorry to those without the choice. It shouldn't be legal yo treat people who can afford vehicles better than those who can't, or choose to do better for the planet, or sit down to eat. Customers shared with customers why the wait was exceptionally long, not the staff who could have warned me when I ordered that it would take 45-60 minutes. I would have gone elsewhere. I didn't find out until I was 30 minutes into the wait from another disgruntled customer. I'm sad because In n Out is one of only 2 fast food places we used to visit. We won't be back. Our favorite is no longer our favorite after the last couple visits, but tonight was by far the worst service, food, and overall experience. Always solid. They've got good fast service even when it's busy. My go to is a Double Double Animal Style with chopped chilies. Sometimes the chilies are really spicy, sometimes they're mild. It feels seasonal. No complaint though, solid 4.5 stars. Bumping to a 5 because you can't beat the price. Great late night hangout. read more

This In and a burger is located in a newly developed commercial are they includes Starbucks, Mountain Mikes. Chipotle and others. My wife was so looking forward to her first In and Out Cheeseburger in more than eight years. Like most In and Out Burgers in Reno m, it's packed. Expect to wait 15-20 mins for your order. Owen was nice and took our order correctly but after that the aura and halo effect came crashing down. My wife's cheeseburger was onions looked procure perfect. See the attached picture but the burger bun and the meat were cold. On top of that the meat had marbled pink coloring throughout. The fries were hot so clearly the burger was made first haphazardly and then had to wait for the fries to finish cooking. It was a poor experience and the excitement that my wife had to have her first In and Out Burger in more than 8 years was trashed as was her burger. read more

We love In-N-Out Burger! We were super happy when this new location opened because it is closer to where we live. We took our friend here the other day who was visiting from Minneapolis. It was his last meal before we took him back to the airport to fly home. He had In-N-Out Burger several years ago and knew he loved the burgers. But he said he didn't care for their french fries. I told him that he has to have them while they are hot. I agreed they are not very good once they hit room temperature. On this visit, it was the first time in ages that I had been to In-N-Out without someone taking orders outside in the car line. It wasn't as crowded as usual so we were able to place our order through the drive-thru speaker. I had my usual grilled cheese animal style, while the guys each had a double double animal style.
