Hot days are here and I'm craving cold sandwiches. There are so many out there now but my cravings called back to Togo's. It was one of the ones I grew up with before Subway. They have the best tuna sandwiches so far from a top of the line sandwich shop. It's the #20 under the classic sandwiches. Their breads are best quality and the spreads. I was lucky there was one not far from the AMC Mercardo. The other one I go to was by 237/Great America but it was crowded in that area because of the FIFA tournament in Levi Stadium so this was most accessible off Lawrence Expressway/101. Staff was courteous and the place was clean. Not many dine in but I did to shelter from the heat and enjoyed my tuna sandwich meal. Place is well lit, clean and spacious. Bathroom is tidy but could stand fixing the flushing mechanism which you can let the staff know to look at it. All and all good place to hang out to cool down and relax from the heat. read more

There was a time I would not come into this Togo's because the quality was not so hot. But getting a coupon, and getting me to come back to this place, and it was to my Togo's Sandwich standards, made me change my mind. Since Togo's corporate changed my favorite meatball sandwhich to a sweet tomato sauce, I only mainly order a pastrami sandwhich at Togo's nowadays. I have some requirements. Fresh, soft, plushy bread, hot pastrami, fresh produce. If one of these is off, it isn't good. The bread had been off for a while, but upon my return it was perfect. Did a takeout order and don't think I'd come back I tried their classic cheesesteak, their brocolli cheddar soup, and some of their cookies. Choose from white bread, honey wheat, parmesan, and sourdough. Spinach or gluten free wraps available too. They have a daily special as well. Lots of people go for pastrami Monday. Togo's style comes with: lettuce, tomato, red onions, pickles, and pepperoncinis. You can also add black olives and jalapeños for free. I think the free drink with check in offer is still valid so go check that out. They have one of those touch screen soda machines. I like getting the sparkling pink lemonade, adds a little zing to my tastebuds. Staff is pretty friendly and they remember regulars after a while. The young man who made my sandwich that my boyfriend ordered for a gluten allergy asked all the right questions, took my allergy seriously, asked allergy or preference etc, thank you so much. Super sweet staff and really great filling sandwiches! I enjoyed the turkey and salami last time! If you go in the online ordering, not the app there is a $2 discount. Came to this togos since it was near the new location for Taj Mahal market. I came in for a tuna sandwich, it was not too busy and the staff was quick to greet. When I asked them if they can use new untouched salad for my sandwich to avoid contamination from previous sandwiches (since gloves touching meat products then touch lettuce , tomatoes etc) they were kind enough to do that and made my sandwich from unopened salad items so that my sandwich would be free as much as possible from contamination. I'm not sure if it's going to be a one time experience or continuous experience but I guess I will find out. I wanted to write this review because I just had a wonderful experience if not the best experience by far at this Togos. The employee that assisted us was so kind and had the best customer service! From the smile in his face greeting us as we came in, to not rushing us to order, to making sure he was getting our sandwiches made the way we liked it left me in shock. Being observant as he noticed we were on our way to the game and having conversation for a second was so sweet. Such an experience now in days is so rare and hard to find. I wish I had gotten his name but I made sure to let him know how much I appreciated his customer service. First time coming to this location and it did not disappoint! I ordered online and it was ready by the time I got there. The interior was very spacious and clean with many tables to sit at and the workers were very friendly. I had the Hot & Spicy Italian (no additions) and it was yummy! Visited several times and feel like the quality of sandwiches are like a step down from jersey mikes or Ike's. Standard process of choosing the bread and all of the customizations on the spot. Could be busy during lunch time. I noticed on yelp that there was a check in offer of a " free sandwich". I thought it was to promote yelpers to come in and try a sandwhich out (if they've never had it). I even called ahead of time to confirm this was the case and the lady said yes it was just any free sandwhich expect the 3 sip one. I decided to visit the establishment and was told there that the yelp offer was something different and they could only honor what was there. Stopped by here the other day to pick-up lunch during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This restaurant has made the necessary adjustments to keep customers 6' apart and is practicing social distancing. I noticed the customers are also following the rules as well. I called my order in and they were just finishing-up making them when I walked into the restaurant. My order consisted of two Large Hot Pastrami's (#9), a Large Italian (#16) and a Large Turkey, Salami & Cheddar. I ordered all the sandwiches with everything on them and with white bread. Although this location is not closest to my home, it was closest to my church (which is where I was starting from) AND contributes to either Southwest Rewards or American Aadvantage. Win Win!
