t was 53 degrees as we rolled into the In n Out parking lot. Shaking off the chill, I wisely decided to forgo the line of 8 cars and head inside. The blast of cold air hit me as I opened the car door. "Be careful my love" Erin Moynihan Simon implored. I made my way inside to find absolutely no line at the counter. Counting my blessings, I confidently strode up to the register and ordered one large hot chocolate.....WITH marshmallows! My server, Bradley, nodded his approval. "Not many people know about this yet" explained Bradley. "It's really good when you get down to the end...really chocolate-y". He handed me my prize and I headed back out into the unforgiving darkness. I struggled into my car and closed the door. Taking the first sip, I proclaimed "hmm, not bad" and proceeded to pass it around to try. Adam and Jessica both found it an adequate rendition of hot chocolate. However, the real test was still to come. My hand quivered as I handed this concoction to one of the most renowned Hot Chocolate critics in the world. Time seemed to stand still as Erin took that first sip. We eagerly awaited the pronouncement and after two careful sips...."eh, chocolate water ". I often opt for drive thru because I'm always in a hurry. Today, my daughter and I had extra time and decided to eat in. The level of service was incredible. Employees were very friendly, working hard and moving constantly with no down time. It was great to watch as it was a well oiled machine, everyone doing their fair share to make things happen for the customer. I observed an employee assist an older gentleman with offering to carry his try to the table. Everyone was so courteous. Team work at its finest doesn't happen by chance. Like every other In N Out this one can be extremely busy during lunch, dinner, and on weekends. The location itself is not ideal, its wedged between two other fast food establishments. With so many cars entering and exiting a narrow area I'm surprised more people haven't collided. The food is typical In N Out and the employees are ok, I'm not a fan of the location. read more

In-n-out is a California staple almost needing no review, but as a person whose number one love is food, I thought I should talk about one of my favorite places. I have been there for many occasions - after dance competitions, homecomings, winter formals, and too many other times to count. It has been a default restaurant to go to when I can't figure out anywhere else to go for years. In-n-out is the one of the most popular places to eat, especially among students, due to the high quality of food and low prices (around $5 for a meal of a burger, fries, and a drink). Although the burgers have become smaller over the years, getting full off of five dollars is still a good deal. They have a small selection, but some of the best items are off of their "secret menu," which are things not on their official menu but are frequently ordered by locals. I often order their animal style fries, which are their fries with their special spread, grilled onions, and cheese over them. Asking for extra spread is always the way to go. Spread is their sauce that they put on everything and it is the best. The service at the restaurant is always friendly and the workers really want you to have a good experience by making sure you get exactly what you want. The one downside is that there is only In-n-out in California, Arizona, and Nevada. I have been having withdrawals ever since moving to the East Coast (In-n-out will always be greater than five guys). It's the first thing I get when I go home. read more

I usually have amazing customer service at in n out. Always happy, cheerful, responsive. The guy who was out taking orders at 6:35ish tonight was so rude, dismissive and seemed annoyed. He got our order wrong and seemed annoyed when I corrected it. I have been going to in n out my entire life. Grew up by the original. As always the food was good, hot and fresh. This review is specifically for Caleb. He was a one man show when it came to me. Opened the door when I entered. I ran to the restroom since I was on a long drive. When I came out I walked to the register where no one was and Caleb walked behind me and said I am coming around to help you. He took my order and held my cup( since the stalls were full I still had to use the restroom). I came out he gave me my cup. Guess who gave me my order? You guessed it..Caleb! He was all over the place. BUT that is not all! He said good by to the guest next to me making small talk to the little boy about his shoes as he left and than came over and cleared my tray! I have gone to this In N Out for a long time. Lately, it has been getting a little bit on the poor side. I think it is part of the new management that took over. It has effected the whole dynamics there. The bathrooms have been dirty the last two times. Long line reaching the door with only one cashier at lunch time. I do not usually get this type of customer service at their restaurants. I have been going to these restaurants for over 30 years and I think corp. should take a look at this. read more

While visiting California recently we ate at a few In N Out restaurants. The food was great at all of them but the service was by far the best at this location on Temecula Pkwy. Every employee we saw seemed happy and seemed to have pride in what they did! Whatever creates that needs to be continued because the pride and dedication was evident! read more
