I grew up living about 1 mile from this location. It is one of the few real old school IN-N-OUT Locations left. I spent many a lunch hour and late night here in high school. I recently went back and is still the best place, in my opinion, to grab a great burger. I normally park and walk up to order to avoid the long drive through lines. IN-N-OUT is by far the best place to get a burger for its price and style of restaurant. Better and way cheaper than Five Guys, better that What A Burger, better than white castle, Carls Jr, etc..... the best Period. Now if only they would open a location in Charlotte, NC and I wouldn't have to wait every 2 years before I eat one. read more

All In-n-Out's are great, but this one is the BEST! It's always busy, doesn't matter when you go, but they're quick! If you haven't already, order animal style. Also, the guy in the glasses who normally works on the right lane window, you are the NICEST guy in the world! It's gotta be stressful in that tiny kitchen, but you're so awesome and chill! It's an In-N-Out. By the power of some sort of witch craft magic it tastes EXACTLY like any other In-N-Out you've ever been to. They have some outdoor seating but only if you're a psychopath. Don't be fooled by their deceptively simple menu. What is there is all you need at this place. Their burgers are great. They come with their special sauce (pretty much 1000 island), tomatoes, and lettuce. You can also choose to have pickles and raw or grilled onions. The fries are usually good, but to be sure you might want to ask for them crispy. You can get animal fries: fries with the sauce, grilled onions and melted cheese. These are really good, but you have to eat them fast because they are no good when they get cold. I do not order them much because it is hard to eat the burger and animal fries before one of them gets cold. The shakes are really good too. They come in the usual chocolate, vanilla or strawberry. If you are feeling adventurous you can try the neopolitan, which is all 3 of the flavors mixed. Even though the shakes are really good, they are very filling so be careful about getting too much at this place. If you have never been, go now. As long as it is not noon or 6-7:30 because it is really crowded at those times. read more

If you love burgers, then this is the best spot in my area! Most of the time it's crowded and there's a huge line sticking out to the sidewalk; however, the wait is worth every second for those amazing burgers! Just turn on the radio while waiting in line if patience is a problem for you! I love ordering animal fries each time I visit with my usual 4 by 4 burger and a Neapolitan milk-shake! For some reason, this In-N-Out has the coolest staff and their lettuce tastes so much better than other In-N-Out Burgers'. Overall, this is a burger lover's paradise in my opinion. Slowest In-N-Out I've ever been to in my life. On top of that, they aren't security/law enforcement friendly a all. They'll even openly insult you and when you ask to speak to a manager, he/she isn't available. They won't even give you a good time to call when they are there. The food at this branch is much worse than the Burbank branch. I have left a 5 star review for Burbank, but the burgers at the Foothill location were extremely undercooked, flabbergasted and not enjoyable to eat at all. While I consider In-n-out overrated, it's still good food. However, that being said, the lines are ridiculous at all of them. Don't listen to those people that say the walk up line is quicker. We love this In and Out. We usually go to the window to order/ avoiding the car line that snakes up from Boston onto Foothill Blvd. But today we didn't feel like standing around in the cold so we braved the car line. Easy enough, wait was about 25 min before hitting Foothill and getting to the In and Out driveway entrance. But here is where a car just coming from nowhere tries to cut in (since at this point the line breaks into two lines, left and right). Since our carline was hugging the right side the left line was left open for a few mins while the car in front of us decided to go right or left. She chose right and hubby was going towards the left side when that car came and cut in. Hubby deftly maneuvers out of his way and pulls up, surprising the car that was trying to cut in. I guess they didn't realize the carline came up from Boston (or did they?). All in all, not exactly fair but no harm and nothing to get into a tiff over - some people just need their burgers I guess. I like to eat healthy, but sometimes I just want don't want to cook or drag myself out in public. So still in my lounge pants I grab the kids and we wait in the In n' Out drive through while watching a movie on the phone to pass the time. The burgers and fries are consistently better than all the other fast food "joints" in the area. The nearby burger king is hit or miss, and the local Mc Donalds are awful. With In N' Out you always know what you will be getting. Is it the best burger in the world? No. But it sure is the best fast food burger out there! read more

Cute, little place - no inside seating, just a little patio in the parking lot with a few tables. Walk up to order or go through one of the drive thru windows on either side of the building. Who doesn't love a good in-n-out burger? I visited the location very recently and per usual the line is pretty long and wraps around Lowell behind the red light around the corner. It took me 30 minutes to get my food but they're working with 2 separate drive thru lines so it makes sense. I had a woman who cut me in line since you have to leave space on the curb now and this woman decided that she could avoid the entire line and cut half the people. I was next to place my order and the in-n-out employee was very professional in asking that woman to go to the back of the line and explaining where the line starts, although the woman refused. The in-n-out employee came and apologized to me and explained that they'd have her pull out to the side and give her food at the end where she should've been in line (lesson learned, never cut in line here, you won't get away with it). Overall the staff is very professional, courteous, respectful, and I love that they're all constantly smiling even though they're cooking in heat inside that small kitchen. I really love this in n out, but be careful of the walk-up window. The service is never as fast as the drive-thru, and sometimes the order takers are incompetent. If you see Royale at the window, run get back in your car and go to the drive-thru, she took over half an hour to get through a line of 8 people, just to take their orders. I almost always have a great experience so I still give 4 stars, but she was awful. read more

Ahhhhh the 80's.... why the 80's??? I'll tell you why the 80's! It was in the early 80's that my father started taking us to this very In-N-Out location for burgers, fries and shakes. I was just a kid maybe in the first grade if that and I remember how happy these trips would make me. I felt like the luckiest kid in the world! I loved everything about the experience. We would park and line up, place our order then walk over to the back and grab a table (I was so little my legs would dangle and I could barley see over the table) Every time my cousins would come visit we would go to In-N-Out since there weren't that many around in those days. I remember feeling 'cool' cuz I lived and went to school so close to this awesome place and there was no In-N-Out where my cousins lived and went to school. That's not the case anymore as locations have started springing up everywhere, but still, for me In-N-Out brings back the simpler, happier days of my childhood where my father would spend quality time with us and we would bond over a good old fashioned American burger, fries and shake! read more

My name is Howard and I'm an In-n-out junkie. There isn't an indoor place to eat but rather two lanes for drive-thru. I've always found the right-hand side to be faster than the left (for some strange unfathomable reason) and it's also easier to pay from the driver-side.
