Another great meal. Never get tired of this place. So glad they went national. Tonight we got a Cheeseburger no tomato with grilled onions. 3x3 with a whole grilled onion no lettuce. Animal fries well done. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. Busy as always in the dining room and drive thru.

Totally not worth my money... I visited this place when they first opened. Everything was good, the burger at that time had In-N-Out Burger taste. Moving forward with my food experience today. I ordered a cheeseburger and a strawberry shake. The strawberry shake tasted good. The cheeseburger SMH the bun was over cooked and old. Bun had a black ring around the parameter top and bottom bun. First bite into the bun, hard. It prompted me to exam my cheeseburger. So I did. The bun burnt, limp soggy old tomatoes, onions were no better and the meat portion much smaller than their bun. We all know the bun itself is small. For time spent in a long drive thru, totally not worth my time and money. The hype is over for this place. I will not be back. I love in n out. This place has very affordable burgers and the service is pretty quick. It's still obviously a fast food restaurant so don't expect fine dining but for a quick meal after grocery shopping at the HEB next door it's perfect. If you like a lettuce wrapped burger be sure to get yours protein style! Don't forget the animal fries on the side either !!

Always love a good stop here when I can get it. Got a double double and animal fries. Adding the chopped chilies is a must. The milk shake was great but a little thick to get through the straw at first. I love a smash burger and these are always the move since they are so juicy!

I ordered a 3x3 with chopped chilis, a Flying Dutchman, and a side of fries. The 3x3 was fantastic -- great flavor, and the peppers really pulled everything together. The Flying Dutchman, however, wasn't very impressive. It was just two patties and cheese and definitely felt like it was missing the bun and sauce. The fries are one of my favorites on the menu. You can tell they're made from fresh potatoes by the quality. They were nicely salted and fried to a perfect crisp. Great experience will be returning soon!

I'm not sure that I understand the whole 'In-N-Out vs. Whataburger' thing. Perhaps it's just my nostalgia vs. your nostalgia. But like Whataburger, McDonald's Burger King, Wendy's et. al, this is merely a fast food burger. It's fine for what it is, but nothing more. The service here, however, has been excellent on my few visits. This place has a line similar to Chick-fil-A, and they handle it very well. "Sir, you'll pull up behind the white truck." Other fast food drive-thru restaurants could learn a thing or two here. Further, everyone is polite and professional at this joint, which is also a lesson for many other fast food joints that claim they cannot find good employees. (Find better managers!) I'm only judging the food here on its freshness, which is good. The fries are fine ... better probably when they are eaten in the store. I would certainly trust this place again with my fast food order, though my taste buds are more tuned in to a burger with mustard and pickles.

2 Double single Animal style fries too

Service here was so nice. So many friendly workers. The manager is doing a good job keeping them happy it seems. I got 2 double single which has 2 patties but 1 cheese. One animal style and I got animal style fries too. I realize I like it better without cheese, without lettuce, tomato and with bun less toasted. The cheese can be overpowering the sauce and the rest makes it too messy. The burger is really good though and tastes fresh. The animal style fries definitely improve the fries. All in all this meal came out to 15.86 which is a great deal compared to a lot of burger places nowadays when burger like five guys is almost 20 bucks for 1 double burger without cheese and fries. My order would have been even less without cheese at all.

Big-back Beryl meal I typically eat fairly healthy but during these difficult post-Beryl power outage times, it's a blessing just finding a hot meal. Who knows how fresh the veggies are? Did they successfully clean the slime out of the ice machine ? The dark stuff out of the milkshake machine? Who knows? Who cares when you're hot, hungry and helpless? You kinda just do what u gotta do and you gladly eat what you can eat. Kick back and enjoy the big backness. You deserve it after sweating it out in your home waiting for your lights and air to come on. I'd been wanting to try out the In-N-Out near me and this ended up being a good time to do so. I had my dog with me so I opted for the drive-thru. The line was super long which I had anticipated and I patiently waited my turn. As I waited 2 folks in front of me, at separate times, got tired of waiting and left the line. Yay! I moved up a little faster. In all I was in the drive thru line for about 30-35 min. I had the double double combo with cheese fries and a chocolate shake. The burger was delicious. Just right in size, juicy and well seasoned. The fries were like styrofoam in texture (really weird) and tasted like they had probably been sitting for a bit. The cheese on them was a little hard. The chocolate shake wasn't very sweet at all and kinda had a hint of chocolate taste which I actually really enjoyed. The service was good. Kind, patient and accommodating. They didn't mind switching my order from "eat in the car" to bagged and were happy to give my pup a water cup. The workers were mostly teenagers. Moral of the review, don't get in the drive thru line starving and maybe ask for fresh fries so yours don't taste like styrofoam. Maybe forego adding the cheese to your fries. This ain't Shake Shack. Otherwise enjoy the yummy burger and shake or beverage!

Absolutely love the food here. The burgers have always been delicious. The cut and made in the kitchen. The service has always been great. The restaurant has a retro style to it, it's nice to see a restaurant that workers dressed in that time era as well! Recommend!

Restroom had been temporarily closed down due to cleaning up a glass spill, so none of us could really wash our hands after finishing the burgers. As for the burgers themselves, they were all pretty good. The Korean BBQ Burger I got was admittedly a little half done, like they didn't want to lean too hard on the actual taste of the Korean BBQ but rather just the essence of it, but I think I liked it more because of that. The sides were all just okay, no particular standouts. My least favorite thing that my table got was the chopped cheese sandwich, which was THE saltiest and fattiest tasting thing I've had in a while. I definitely think that it is by far the worst thing on the menu, and it left me feeling very icky and gross following the meal, which is a shame because otherwise I think I would've enjoyed my experience a lot more. TL;DR just get the burgers, then you will enjoy yourself here.

I chose Durb's based on the great reviews and the fact that my brother had always wanted to visit. My wife and I both ordered smash burgers - she opted for tots, I went with mozzarella sticks. The sides were both perfectly standard, but the burgers were anything but. The difference between these smash burgers and most is that these were real thick boys. I was kind of shocked how much food this was. The sauce was great, but I was already full around the halfway point of the burger. I don't say this to complain, but my favorite smash burgers are usually lighter than a normal burger. This was anything but. We ate these at 1:30pm and I didn't need to eat again the rest of the day. I finished with a pistachio cake slice and enjoyed that probably more than the burger. Cool concept! I'd love to come back again, especially to try today's special, which was a Chicago dog burger. But for visit #1, I wanted to stick with what they are famous for.

I went with the old-fashioned cheeseburger all the way and added bacon, and my side order was the thin onion rings. Everything came out fantastic and fast. The tater tots were cooked exactly like I like super crispy. I rarely eat tater tots out because not every restaurant cooks them properly. The thin onion rings were fantastic. Had a very nice little flavor to the batter came out hot and crisp. What I like the most about the burgers were the buns. Almost a buttery texture to them and they did not fall apart like you get on some burgers. The wife got a strawberry shake to go, and it was insanely rich. It was a meal in itself. We will definitely be back again soon to go a little deeper into the menu. I hear that their chili dog is fantastic. That's what I'm gonna try next week. I had the chicken lollipops, the Hot Honey Sage Sweet Potato Fries, and the Cadillac Wagyu. Starting with their fries, I really enjoy the nice crunch and overall texture of the interior of the fries. The hot honey here is a little too much sweet on sweet, but I still really enjoyed it. My Cadillac Wagyu was also incredibly delicious. Though less juicy on the inside, the patty was still really tender and all of the ingredients complimented the burger really nicely. My least favorite were the chicken lollipops. We did have to send them back once since they were raw in the middle area with the bone, but once we got our order back, they were crispy and had really nice flavor. Overall still a good experience, though.

For starters, their HRW dinner menu sits at the low end price wise with a $40 option. Sure you can upgrade to a better steak but you can land a filet mignon on the $40 menu. Appetizers offered include a salad, a queso with sausage and chips and a boudin link. We sampled all. And because I love pork belly added their sticky pork belly appetizer to the table. First off, they don't skimp on the HRW portions. The waitress was clear that the boudin only had one link but it's was more than enough with the seasoned crackers, pickled onions and stone mustard. The queso features beef sausage and homemade chips. And the pig cubes are magic. Sticky and perfectly cooked. Mains too are well executed and plentiful. The steak eaters smiled big and those of us who opted for the triple bbq option were floored by the big ribs and the two additional meats that filled the plate. And than add 2 sides (bring an empty belly and plan on leftovers. Dessert is stunning as well. The cheesecake was light and fresh and the pecan cobbler an artistic delight. Shout out to the management who stopped at the table to discuss allergy precautions staff would take to protect a member of our party and to our super waitress Malaysia who handled our party with humor and kindness. She had a great handle on the menu and continually brought us containers for leftovers. The restaurant itself is relaxed but well appointed in the style you expect from Pappas. Run people!
