They have beer on tap and they're kind enough to let you sample before you commit. You do have to get your own water, they hand you plates and napkins and a number to put on your table. I really loved their arugula salad- I've been craving it since I had it last! Their caprese salad was super light, no bread came with it which was a bit sad but also exactly what I needed for a light lunch! Their pizza is thin and delicious, and I really enjoyed the flavor of their Brussels sprouts. We sat at the bar on a packed Sunday and the bartender was super attentive and the food came out quickly. I noticed quite a few five star reviews for this joint on Yelp. This place is supposed to make the genuine NYC pizza with thin crust. I ordered 2 cannolis ($11) and an 18" Deluxe pizza ($25.25) with pepperoni, ground beef, mushrooms, sausage, onions, and black olives. When I arrived, David Wheelock, at the cash register, told me they had just removed my pizza. He handed me the box and said he had to go in the back to make the cannolis. I'm not sure if they really make them there or not, but they had lot of cream filling and weren't too sweet. The pizza had a lovely, crispy crust and a ton of toppings. I wish this place was closer. By the time I got home with the pie it wasn't hot anymore. Just warm. A very good representation of NY style pizza.

You can typically order a burger with all the fixings and fries for that price or less. Our service was fair. Our server was nice enough and checked in on us. But the food was very underwhelming. I wouldn't recommend them, but you could may have a better experience than me. Just don't order the sliders! Then, to top it off, after ordering dessert, we are chit chatting and finishing our drinks. We slowly start to notice that the servers were grabbing their purses and heading to the front. Apparently they had been closed for almost 30 minutes but no one came to inform us that they were closed for the night! LOL! Silly place.

I did let her know the homemade croutons were stale and tough and not very edible. Service, food and drinks here are always very good and polite. I'll be back but not when the outside summer flies are taking over.
