I am so happy that I found this clinic! Everyone working there is just amazing... the front desk staff, the dental assistants, Dr. Mariscal. Everyone is super friendly, nice, professional and accommodating. I have severe dental anxiety but everyone made me feel very well taken cared of and they made my experience great. Dr. Mariscal is a great professional, very understanding and informative. He really cares and listens to his patients concerns, takes time to evaluate their specific case and needs. He answered all of my questions, explained everything in a very understandable way and gave me the best advice regarding my treatment and the possible course of action for my needs. I make a appointment for a specific time and I still have to wait another 25 or more on top of the time of my appointment. if you make a appointment for 2:30pm you might as well come at 3pm. I've had the same dentist for years, and was extremely apprehensive to find someone new. I did a little research and found AMAZING reviews for Dr. Boege and In Smyle Dental, and I can see why! I was immediately greeted BY NAME (this made me feel like I've been a patient for years) and welcomed in by the receptionist, who located the paperwork I filled out online almost instantly and asked any clarifying questions that she had. I was then given a full tour of the practice, which I sincerely appreciated. Every staff member that I met during the course of this tour was extremely friendly. Following the tour I was introduced to Alin who took care of my patient intake, captured my picture for my profile, and conducted my X-rays. I also need to add that I never had the chance to be uncomfortable, because she moved so quickly. Alin is absolutely wonderful at her job!! She is extremely kind, funny, and an exceptional conversationalist. If you have anxiety about doctor's offices, she will make you forget you're even at the dentist. She welcomed the opportunity to help me practice my Spanish and even explained things in both English and Spanish so that I could sharpen my comprehension. After my X Rays I was then introduced to Dr. Boege. I left extremely impressed by this girl boss! Not only is she extremely thorough, with a great eye for detail, but she does a flawless job with explaining dental procedures with patience and zero judgement. In addition, if she ever noticed or anticipated that I was experiencing any discomfort her goal was to immediately address it and make me as comfy as possible. I have significant oral issues that need to be addressed over the course of several visits, and she created the perfect plan for us. I left with all of my questions answered, a much needed cleaning, a removed permanent retainer, and she personally scheduled me for my next visit. I don't know how the Hygienist got my teeth so clean after an embarrassing two year hiatus from the Dentist during covid. I was both nervous and embarrassed to return to a dental office. However, everyone at In Style made me feel comfortable and I never felt scolded for not having kept up. I used prescribed anti-anxiety medications before the first 2 visits, but then realized that I didn't need it because Dr. Mariscal and Lucy Munoz take such good care of me. Crooks! Insurance defrauders! Came in for extraction, receptionist said my United Health Care insurance wouldn't cover it, but "we will just take a copy of your insurance card for reference." So I said, fine, I'll pay cash. I paid $300 cash for the service. Two weeks later I get a letter from my insurance provider that they were billed and paid out $640 dollars to these double-invoicing criminals. When confronted about their double billing, they said they were about to return the check. Why would they even charge my insurance carrier when I paid cash for the full amount??? Sounds like they need money. I would not go here again if it were free! read more

Had a great experience. I was in a ton of pain and needed an emergency root canal. Even though it was last minute, they were able to squeeze me in immediately. The ladies at the front desk were more than accommodating. Being the "face" of the office, they were very welcoming, yet professional. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Made the initial process so much easier. Dr. Mariscal performed the root canal. He was very patient and answered all of my questions. Being that I hadn't been to the dentist in a while, I had a ton. He was also very knowledgeable and thorough in his explanations. As far as the procedure, everything went smoothly. He worked very quickly, and I felt no pain whatsoever.Even with a BAD infection, he was able to make the process pain free. I had not been to the dentist in a while, so I initially dreaded the visit. Nobody likes going to the dentist, but I actually do! (OK, that's a lie, the dentist is still not fun) I have genetically bad teeth (OK, that's another lie, I just thought it'd be cool to rebel as a kid and not brush), so I've been here a couple of times over the last few months to have a cleaning and cavities filled. And really, they make it as pleasant an experience as I could imagine. 1. The technology. Never before had I been to a dentist with a computer that can call-up and magnify my tooth x-rays on a whim. The dentists use technology to augment the experience, as they can show you exactly what is going on in your mouth. No more squinting at tiny x-rays or guesswork as to which tooth works. This also applies to their scheduling software which can send you a text and/or email reminder for your appointment, and a nice thank you after you're done. It's service before you enter and way after you leave 2. The dentists. I've had Dr. Maniscal work with me and he is great. He's young, but he knows his stuff. I find him easy to relate to. But even though he's the new era, they taught him real well about patient care. He's great at explaining what's going on and he's worked with me to form a comprehensive mouth rebuilding plan. 3. The fantastic service. I could list many examples. When I first called, they worked as a middleman between me and my insurance provider to find out what my coverage was and gave me detailed information of what everything cost. On my cleaning, they did a complimentary oral cancer screening. And then they checked my gum healthiness too. They work great night and weekend hours. Just always beyond what they have to do. I think it's hard to be wowed by a dentist, but after my first cleaning, I was wowed. I raved about them to all my friends (and that's not for lack of actually interesting conversation topics). Really a great staff that makes the visit great from start to finish. High recommended if you need a new dentist. read more

I'm never disappointed when coming to my appointment. Even with all that's going on with Covid, the staffs procedures are exceptional. Glad to be able to keep some normalcy during these times. My son has braces so that was one of the scares when the pandemic first hit. Great friendly staff. Everyone knows who you are. Crooks is right! Plus they are really rude. Avoid these guys! First of all, they have some really terrible receptionist/admin people. My wife and and I had multiple negative encounters on the phone. Here's the kicker however, I missed an appointment and guess what the sent a few weeks later? A bill for $25. If you a normal person, who is occasionally busy and might possibly miss an appointment be prepared to pay. So beware! Now they have lost my entire family as customers. read more

Can you say no pain at the dentist office? You can if you go here and see Dr. Mariscal! They have state of the art technology. Each room has it's own computer and monitor which allows the dentist to so you your x rays, images, etc and shows before and after images. I had cleaning, fillings, tooth pulled and an implant done and never once did I feel ANY pain from Dr. Mariscal. Can not say that for any other dentist office I have ever visited before. He is young, but already is very experienced from the other locations he has worked at. He had EXCELLENT communication skills and tells you everything to expect. He really cares about the patient! They also have a fantastic staff, from Nancy and Dianna to Gloria. They all are very professional and easy to deal with. They handled all of the insurance forms and claims for me and let me know what my co pay was. They always call you the day before to remind you of your appointment. They are easy to get to, the Brown line is around the corner or if you drive, there parking on Lincoln Ave. in front of the office. The city will get you for parking, but that is the small price to pay for pain free dentistry! read more

I love this place as much as you can love a dentist's office. Lucy, one of the dental hygienists, is so friendly and great. Haven't see the actual dentist for very long as I have not had a cavity since I've been going here. The best part of this place is that they are super forthcoming when it comes to both what they are doing to you (i.e. checking for oral cancer, or measuring how good/crappy your gums are) and when it comes to insurance and costs. They always have checked to see if everything they were doing was covered by my insurance and informed me of any costs I would incur. Very awesome! read more

Went in to have a toothache looked at, and I saw Dr. Coelho, who was very nice and thorough in getting to the bottom of my problems. Compared to my last dental visit at another place, this was a much better experience. They didn't try to run every test that my insurance would pay for, whether I needed it or not, like my last dental visit. I was in and out rather quickly and I no longer am in pain. They even used a numbing gel on my teeth, before shooting me up with Novicane, which is a plus because we all know the Novicane injection can be just as painful as a procedure.
