First of all GORGEOUS restaurant! Wow! You gotta check out this location! It's beautiful inside with a great view outside! We parked along the street - after 5pm it's free. At first I couldn't figure out how to get into the restaurant but I finally figured it out. You have to go into a building by torpedo coffee and find the elevator and go up a few flights. We shared the calamari and tuna nachos - both were very good! I had the 'Mile high club' drink and it was good but Kinda tasted like koolaid. Very little alcohol. I tried a couple different sushi rolls and they were pretty good. ITD salad was decent. Two friends tried the halibut - they BOTH said it was amazing and didn't even want to share a bite. They ate it all. I guess I need to order that next time. Another friend said the steak was amazing. We were Celebrating a birthday and got a free dessert to share. We chose the fried bananas with ice cream. It was a huge dessert and we didn't even finish it. Very good though! We got to watch the sunset and that was stunning. There is indoor and outdoor seating. This has been a hot spot since opening with reservations hard to come by, especially for larger groups. Situated on the 6th floor of the downtown Vast bank building, it offers a cool vibe and stunning views of our incredible downtown Tulsa and its skyline. My wife and I dropped in without reservations on a rainy Saturday evening and were able to get a bar table that gives you a great view of what's happening inside as well as the sights of downtown. ITR offers some creative cocktails, wine, and a full bar. We started out with an ITR mule and a blueberry lemon drop. A spicy tako (octopus) salad is always a great start, followed by the blackened salmon for my wife and a variety of nigiri sushi for me. My only suggestion on the nigiri is that I wish they would complement the various fish with a appropriate accompaniments, such as a thin slice of lemon on the salmon, a scallion on the yellowtail, a garnish here or there. Recently went to In the Raw and I can actually say I was impressed. It was on the top floor of a building with other restaurants in it, and they had enough parking so that made it better. Right when you walk through the doors it's great customer service and loved the look and scenery and they had a patio with a view over the city. Even though it's a sushi place it had more than just that on the menu. I got the Philly steak wrap with fries and a water to drink. At first I was a little skeptical since it is known for sushi. When the food arrived to the table it was good proportion and the taste was very good. My meal was less than $20. I highly recommend this establishment and will be back in the near future. read more

The sushi we ordered was pretty good. Their sushi is similar to what you find at other sushi places. Our server was lovely and accommodating. Located on the 6th floor of the new Vast Bank building, In The Raw Sushi has opened a fabulous rooftop spot in the heart of downtown Tulsa right next to the Drillers stadium. We went on their opening day for lunch and were amazed by how nicely decorated it is. Inside, there were plenty of booths, a full bar, and a sushi chef station. Outside, there was a large patio with tables and couches with a perfect view of downtown and the ONEOK Field. They have a huge list of domestic and imported beers, sake, spirits, and cocktails which will be perfect for date night or a group outing. They also have a large menu (traditional and fusion) with appetizers, salads, rice bowls, ramen, tacos, wraps, seafood entrees, sushi, sashimi, bento boxes, sushi combos, and specials. We had a Sapporo and shared their Some Like It Hot Roll (tuna, avocado) and their SC Slug roll (tuna, salmon, yellowtail, masago) with extra wasabi and sliced ginger. All In The Raw locations offer something a little different. In The Raw Vū is probably the "fanciest". But not too much more than the BA location. However, Vū is a rooftop location that really helps to push it over the top! (Pun intended) In true itr fashion hey have all the itr classics plus some Vū only items. This was my first visit to this place and I have to say it did not disappoint. The people who work here were kind and attentive without being in basis. I ordered the pomegranate martini and subbed fresh squeeze line for those sweet-and-sour. It was still a bit on the sweet side for me, but that's more my fault than theirs. We started with the edamame, and while it is hard to go wrong with edamame, this was particularly good. Not overcooked, not over seasoned, and a good portion size. I then got the bonito sashimi, and MAN was it good. Great specialty fish option with a flavorful sauce, that was spicy, but not too much to hurt. The roll we got, the restless ribbon roll, was a very light option, with great seafood combo, and not with some crazy amount of sauce like so many places do. We also did a specialty roll, which was LOADED with crab meat. Looked different than a normal sushi roll, but the sauce with that came on the side, and allowed for you to use as much as you wanted. It was another specialty sauce, which I absolutely LOVED!!! And dessert...WOAH. Usually sushi is now known for dessert, but the tempura bananas had everything you could want. Good fresh fruit, not overfried and greasy, enough sauce, just amazing!! Dangerous honestly! If you can't tell...I was impressed. First of all let me say that this restaurant is gorgeous with incredible views of downtown Tulsa. You can't beat that. However, we waited at our table for about 15 minutes before anyone greeted us to take drink orders. After that service was so slow at every point. We had reservations for 6:30 on a Tuesday and didn't leave until 8:45. Our server was very friendly, things just seemed to take way too long and it impacted the rest of our plans for the evening. One of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. ITR Vū has an identity crisis in the way they don't know how to separate themselves between a rooftop bar (like Hotel Indigo) and a higher end rooftop restaurant. Before arrival, we had informed the staff that we would be celebrating a special event (our engagement) and asked to be seated near the window with a view. Upon arrival, we were placed at a one-sided booth with a "view" of 30 20 year olds who behaved as though they had never consumed alcohol before. They were playing drinking games, yelling, coming and going as they please and creating mass chaos. We requested to move to what was described as an "intimate booth" that was on the other side of the restaurant. The only thing separating this portion of the restaurant was a wood panel partition that did nothing to block the noise. The wait staff was inattentive, and we were informed that we weren't the only ones coming there to celebrate an engagement that evening. The noise level was so severe, we packed up 80% of our meal and had to enjoy it at home. ITR Vū appears to place importance and low-end part goers rather than customers desiring an upscale atmosphere. The only reason they are receiving a 2-star review is because the view is fantastic and the food is just as good as all of the other ITR locations. My advice: unless you want to spend your evening listening to immature, loud-mouthed partygoers, find a different restaurant that's worth the money requested. (Mahogany, Bull in the Alley, McGill's, Ruth's Chris, Polo Grill, or Fleming's). We will return, but never with the expectation of eating and enjoying a nice dinner, only for late-night drinks before quickly moving on. read more

I like in the raw. All their locations have great views and aesthetic. Basic sushi, not a lot of off the beaten path rolls, but still very delicious. I love both Cody rolls, anything with eel, and the ITR salad is bomb. My only critique is that at such a fancy location, I wish I could experience something truly unique to go with the stellar view.
