I have been to this place too many times to count! Their food is delicious, no matter what you get. I love getting the carne asada...they have the best in town with a huge steak! Ask for their hot salsa...it is delicious. This time, I had the enchilada suiza! When I ordered the waitress asked if I noticed the special...(2 enchiladas w/rice and beans) for 5.95...so I asked if I could get the green sauce and sour cream and she said that would be no problem. I love when you ask for something special and they give it to you no questions asked. Their chips were warm, and the salsa delicious, and my drink was never empty. Went there on a lunch break about 2 years ago. I can't remember the name of the dish but it had large pork cubes in a Verde sauce. It was f*cking fantastic!!!! The pork was tender, moist and easily pulled apart. It was served with warm small flour tortillas and the typical rice n beans.I am not typically a fan of pork but I love verde. I rarely order pork at restaurants bc it comes out dry most of the time. I highly recommend this dish. Just look for pork in a verde sauce. You won't be disappointed. Ask for a manager named Tony if you want a good recommendation, he's a wonderful person. Never worked there, just knew him through a job I had, we used him as a chartering business. We are soooo impressed! We dropped in at the end of the evening last night with a group of 20 people, and no reservation. Not only that, we were on separate checks, and not all couples were sitting together. The server was more than efficient, and friendly to boot. He delivered all of our ordered accurately, and in a timely manner. When it came time to pay our bills they were all exactly as they should be. The entire Inca staff was patient, friendly and made our large group feel welcome, regardless of our surprise visit at the end of the night! When we go it is never very busy. The decor and furniture is dated. The chips and salsa are not fresh and appear to be bagged or canned. Bland. Extensive menu. Food is okay, but not always consistent. Sometimes the nachos are huge with tons of cheese and meats and sometimes they are full of beans, literally:), Our waitresses are always uninterested and cold. They do not take orders in the order you came in and seem to pick some tables as important. The worst thing that has happened was when a friend of mine's food came with a baby cockroach in it! About 3 months ago! We showed the waitress, who took the platter, picked up the bug and said "it isn't a cockroach." We didn't say it was.... You did. It seems dirty here and I don't feel like I get any customer service. The quality has gone way down in the years it has been there. read more

Having lived in Mexico, I know something about real Mexican food. As far as the food goes here, it is pretty good. Their carnitas are tasty although I have a hard time with any restaurant that has carnitas with any other meat than pork. In Mexico, carnitas means pork, not chicken or beef, but pork. Their pork is quite tasty although I would prefer that they would offer more condiments. In Mexico, in addition to the pork and tortillas, one normally also gets onions and cilantro mixed together along with enough guacamole to go with all the pork, not just a little taste on the side. Add lime wedge and you have real Mexican carnitas. As I said, they do a pretty good job with the meat but could do more with the condiments. Now I'm going to go on a rant. First, to be fair, Inca is not by any means alone in the fact that they haven't a clue how to make a real margarita. Pretty much any gringo Mexican restaurant is going to give you a maximum amount of liquid with very little punch to it. That's what you get at Inca. A REAL margarita only has three things in it: tequila, orange liqueur and lime juice. That's it. The tequila and orange liqueur are basically in equal parts with a little fresh lime juice thrown in to taste. Not hard to do at all. If just those ingredients were in one of those massive glasses, one wouldn't be able to walk out of the restaurant. I realize that most customers don't have a clue what a real margarita tastes like so they accept what they get. But I'd like to start a movement right now to get restaurants and bars to offer this simple drink in the form in which it was intended to be made. Try it at home and see if that doesn't taste a lot better. Better limit yourself to no more than two though as these things are deadly. With 4 shots of 80 proof alcohol per drink, this adds up fast. So be careful. And join me in the education of bars everywhere on how to make a proper margarita. The 3 star rating I gave was primarily due to the horrible margarita I had last night. The food is tasty, the salsa is good and the staff is friendly. If they could only make a proper margarita I would up the rating to 4 stars. read more

I live very close to this restaurant and never thought anything of it until a friend picked me up and said, "hey, let's give this place a try!" I figured, 'why not,' since it was nearby, he was driving, so I might even try a beverage! WHOOP! We get there and the parking lot was packed. I mean packed, for dinner. The menu had a great meat and seafood listing, great appetizer menu and fantastic looking drink menu. I ordered a menudo and it was CHOCK FULL of tripe. Amen, thank you Jesus! Best bowl of menudo I've honestly ever had and there was so much I'm having the rest for breakfast and even lunch tomorrow. On a whim (ha! I wasn't driving) I ordered a strawberry mojito that was dreamy and satisfying for this light weight. On my way out I noticed there was a kiwi margarita listed on today's specials.... Ugg! Next time I hope to try that one! Anyhow.... great restaurant. Great family (packed!) atmosphere, and lots of choices of food, even street style tacos! The worst Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at. My boyfriend and I were in the area for the day and decided to stop in and give it a try since there is an incas located in our hometown. We will never go back! The service was terrible, the food was extremely bland, the meat was chewy and the beans were the worst beans I have ever tasted and the waitress started vacuuming right next to our table while we were eating. The only semi decent part of our experience was that the drinks were strong, which still wasn't enough to rate this place more than one star. Save yourself time and money, don't go here! read more
