What a dump. 20 minutes wait to get drinks/order whatever. Restaurant NOT full to capacity, no wait, and we had a reservation. I cannot express how many times we had to ask about the menu specials and specific questions only to have food and drinks appear at our table incorrectly or unbelievably not even ordered at all --three times. Our "tacos special" never arrived. None, NONE, of the staff had the knowledge or wherewithal to describe what exactly the "specials" were or to understand and explain the questions we had. I underscore- it was NOT BUSY. But our water was refilled 3-4 times with no comment before anyone bothered to welcome us or ask if we wanted to order drinks or appetizers. I wish I had taken a picture of my gray steak that was RAW inside. Steak was disgusting-sorry they call it "biftec." By that time I was so angry I told him to give the steak CPR-it might come back. Fries were freezing cold. Bill was completely incorrect. Waiters don't know the menu. What a complete bucket of crap. Cinco de Mayo---not a Peruvian holiday we were told, (duh) but was advertised with specials and hats and all sorts if complete BS that NEVER materialized and NO ONE on the staff had any clue what we were talking about. The food was awesome! I loved the chaufa - super filling and delicious! I loved this Peruvian style fried rice! We also ordered the Bistec a la Pobre, which came with a large piece of steak. I have only ever had tallarin verde from one place, and it has become one of my favorite Peruvian dishes since. Since moving, I'm not as close to the restaurant as I used to be and was craving it one day. Luckily, Inca Social came up in my search for some tallarin verde. I hit up my friend to see if she wanted to check out the place with me and off we went! The interior inside is great. Very spacious and IG friendly. Cute aesthetics, with a nice little selfie location close to the entrance. We had arrived around 3 or so. Place wasn't busy at all. There were maybe like two or three other tables with guests but that was about it. For apps, I ordered the anticuchos since a friend of mine said that it was one of her favorite dishes, thus, one of the reasons I was willing to try it out. Now, I've never had anticuchos before, so I don't know what it's supposed to taste like, but I can say without a doubt that it was GOOD. It was just very well seasoned in my opinion and I enjoyed it very much. The tallarin verde was my main entree of course. Texture of the noodles was great with the steak being on point as well. Not only did they cook it exactly as I'd asked (medium rare) but it was deliciously seasoned too! The only downside for me was the taste of the sauce. It was lacking something that I couldn't quite put my finger on. Also, it had a bit of a sweet taste to it, which made it a bit difficult for me to eat because of that. If I am ever in the area, I may consider coming back here to try some of their other items, but I definitely will not be ordering their tallarin verde again anytime soon as the sauce just did not suit my palate. read more

This place has potential. Great service, cool bar, happy hours galore, good location, nice decor. The food is absolutely terrible. The Mixto Ceviche was overly acidic. It was like it had been steeped for hours in bottled lime juice. The seafood was not tender either. Best part was the yucca chips, until they drowned in the liquid. The daily fish was Mahi Mahi, so I tried the Pescado a la Mancho. Tasteless. The worst part was the calamari -- I could not eat it. I tried and tried. The texture was similar to a thick rubber band -- plastic, tough, chewy. The pulpo, Octopus, was no better. Octopus was hard, tough, leathery, chewy -- think shoe leather and ultimately inedible. Mahi Mahi had been smothered in a brown broth, which kept it moist, but was lacking in any spice or refreshing flavors. I suspect all the fish here is not fresh -- all previously frozen. Very limited wine menu. Beer menu is large brewery standard fare. The cocktail bar was good though. I really enjoyed my Pisco Sour, well made and by putting their name on the whipped egg white froth made it feel special. I was intrigued by their happy hour specials and it was clear Inca Social wants to draw folks in. For example on Thursdays, women get Margaritas for $2. I wonder if someone were to identify as a woman on Thursdays, if they could get those specials. Its 2022 in the USA -- gender equality -- not at Inca Social. We had lunch to celebrate Peruvian Independence Day. We had planned to eat outside due to the COVID pandemic but it was so blistering hot that we ate indoors. Tables were well separated and the staff wore masks. My wife had the lomo saltado and I had ceviche classico. The ceviche was the equal to the best ceviche I ever had at Puntarenas in Lima, Peru. The food was spectacular in every respect. We had two orders of empanadas - exquisite! Service was excellent, the ambiance is sophisticated and comfortable. I highly recommend INCA Social. read more

This place was great! I'd give it a 3.5 stars if I could. We made a reservation for a group of 16 (with a party this large, gratuity was included in the bill). The Trio Causa Sampler was delicious to start with - definitely filling because of the potatoes and the toppings elevated the dish. My second dish was the Classic Ceviche. My grandmother is Peruvian, so I always have a delicious memory to compare to. The Ceviche was not too shaaabby! The texture of the fish was marinated nicely - the fish wasn't too hard or too mushy. The marinade aka "Leche de Tigre" or "Tiger's Milk" (not literally), was a good sour - wasn't bland or too over the top. Of course, My grandmother's is (in my opinion) the BEST - but to me, this was pretty delicious. I wish there was more fish though! The drinks were delicious too, but I was bummed that they didn't have much alcohol in them. For the price of the drink, I would to expect to feel a little more of a kick, but sadly I did not. My co-workers agreed that they'd come back for the food... but not the drinks. **The Llama/Alpaca on my pisco was soo cute! Ambiance is great! I love the dimmed lights, fun music and aesthetic appeal. There were places to take pictures in front areas that had a nice picture-esque backdrop. Customer service was nice too! I have been to Inca Social a few times before. Each experience has been positive. This time was no different. I went on a Sunday afternoon with my wife. The place was not too busy when we arrived. We wanted to share several plates. We started with Causa and Empanadas. The Causa was topped with chicken and tasted very fresh. The empanadas were hot and crispy. Both plates were good. After that we had Arroz Con Pollo, Papa a la Huancaina, and Salchipapas. These three dishes were slightly underwhelming. They all lacked flavor. The sauce for the salchipapas was decent, however. Overall, the meal was good. The restaurant is upbeat. The staff is friendly. The restrooms are clean. I recommend Inca Social. I chose INCA for my birthday dinner because it's been on my list of places to try. I had my eye on certain dishes that I was set on trying. I was super pleased and happy with the food. We all left with very happy bellies. The service on the other hand could have been better. They weren't crowded or anything so that had nothing to do with it. I just spoke with the manager Jorge. He was great and very customer oriented. The bartenders are great. Some servers could used some extra training. Sometimes they are in a rush or seem unhappy and a líttle bit rude. Food is excellent. People should try the anticuchos , Inca balls, Pisco sour and chicha morada. Inca is right across the street from home so it has been a go to plce for an easy meal or a quick drink. Both options are equally good, and we can always walk across the street if we imbibe too much. Tonight it was just a occasion for a night cap after arriving home from a cross country flight. Their signature drinks are their Pisco Sours. Also tasty is their Sangria and whiskey mixes. We arrived a few minutes before their published closing at 9:00 PM on Sunday so the place was thinning out. But the bartender was, as always, very friendly and attentive. Beautifully presented and we devoured it! The Pulpo Anticuchero - one of the signature dishes and after we ate it it's easy to see why! Just order it. Who doesn't like cheese and potatoes! I came here to try the Tallarines but stayed for the Ceviche. The ceviche was sooooooo good. The fish floated in a pale white puddle of lime, cilantro and onion. The red onions gave it bite and the corn and braised sweet potatoes lended warm flavors. The lomo saltado needed more sauce but the flavors were good and I couldn't stop eating the rice until it was all gone. The Tallarines, unfortunately, was not flavorful and the meat was chewy and cooked well done even though I had specified medium rare. I'll come back though and try some more. read more

Great flavor and presentation, along with a little buzz! It's on the happy hour menu too, so yay! For my dinner I ordered the LOMO A LA HUANCAINA with risotto. Mannnnn. This is goooood. And I have enough left over to eat for lunch tomorrow if I can refrain from eating it all hahaha. It's a big portion, it's just so good you want to finish it. The empanadas were also good - the chicken had a curry like flavor and the beef was like a typical beef empanadas. The steak lomo saltado was okay - nothing out of this world. The service was meh. It kind of felt like the waitress was judging us because we wanted to share food. She also didn't take away the menus which I thought was odd. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating chairs were SUPER uncomfortable, I definitely recommend wearing long pants otherwise you will have the chair imprinted on you. Hello all, I had an opportunity to spend some at INCA Social in Va. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff was amazing and as while. Unfortunately, the food didn't meet my expectations. We had a party of 11 people that pretty much ordered the same dish, and each one of them had the same disappointment with it. The steak meal was either over cooked or uncooked. I had the burger and fries that were alright, but nothing amazing about it. The one item that everyone agreed that was the highlight of the meal. what's the lemon lime drink? My biggest disappointment was the appetizer that I had that did not be my satisfaction. And that was the scallops. The parking was reasonable for Saturday evening, but I'm not certain how the Parking is on the weekdays. Again I want to thank the staff for their service. read more

My parents had to flag down the waiter multiple times, and it was bad enough that eventually someone came by and apologized and brought them a complimentary appetizer...which they then got charged for, so getting that communication back through was another long mess. The waiter was very nice but didn't speak much English unfortunately, so when my parents asked about beers, he said that there weren't any, and later they were told there were no desserts either. Kudos to each one of you from the waiter to the host I was very impressed. Let's say the drinks were yummy I had the passion fruit Pisco to die for!! I was driving so I could only have one so that means I'll be back for more soon. My dish was the chicken saltodo, the chicken was made to perfection, the onions weren't over cooked so it still has that amazing crunch I love. The rice was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing with the steak fries I asked for them to add a little more of the chicken saltado Sauce which made the fries taste even better. Let's not forget the best Peruvian hello sauce I have tasted in the white DMV. We had to order more sauce it was incredible. Went here for the first time with my best friend 1 week ago. Been trying to make time to come for a long time, the food was good, just not as great as I have heard. One thing that did turn me off, hence the four stars instead of 5 , was that I came in first while my friend parked and yes , I did tell them ,that my friend was parking, but they never even brought menus or water out, I specifically asked for regular menus instead of the scan code. Anyhow my friend comes in after 5 minutes and we are ignored for about 10 minutes, even though the hostess stand is right near our table and there are 2 waiters just standing there. I don't I guess caught them on an off night ‍. The ceviche was good, the lomo was also good, . The other thing , which is not 100% the restaurant's fault was this drunk guy from the bar stumbled onto our table almost knocking our drinks over lol. Slow service, cold or inconsistent food, and gummy arroz con pollo. My family of six tried five different appetizers and two different mains, and the best parts were the plantains, the yucca fries, and the beef empanadas. The beef heart, arroz con pollo, papas huancainas, and chicharron were all of poor quality. It's a shame because I thought I'd be introducing my mom, sister, and niece to real Peruvian cuisine, and this was just not a good example. Won't be back.
