I've been to INCA Social twice now. Once as a group of 7 and another time as a group of 3. I enjoy the decorations and theme of the restaurant, plus the food is okay. This 2nd time around, there was a pungent smell, very sewage-like. Not sure if it was a gas leak of some sort but it was not something that could be ignored. I'd like to think that it was a one time thing.
You really can't go wrong with the ceviche, they are fresh and very tasty. My chicken wasn't dry and had good sauce. The atmosphere was great and the drinks were good too.
Wow this place is delicious! The tableside ceviche was the star of the show. The server explained the entire process, ingredients, and adjusted the spiciness and amount of toppings to our liking. Service was quick and everyone was kind and attentive! We also ordered the Peruvian sushi, beef lomo saltado, pescado a lo macho, and tequenos. They also brought out a very beautifully decorated board for the birthday dessert. The inside is spacious and decorated well. I will definitely come back to try the other dishes!
This was my first time trying Peruvian food and it was so good!! The server was polite and very informative. I unfortunately couldn't eat the fries since it is fried in the same oil as the pork dishes (so definitely ask questions and be mindful to that). But a good alternative is the grilled potatoes which is so good with the Inca sauce!! They also offer a variety of mocktails. Overall the prices are reasonable and the environment is very upscale.
After seeing so many reviews on Yelp about this place, I decided to check it out. I woke up craving Peruvian tamal on a nice Sunday afternoon. They have brunch items but I just wanted to order the tamal, which it was okay. The salsa criolla was good, the yellow sauce was good. Now, the Peruvian mule was the highlight of the meal lol. The decor and ambiance is super cool. I was tempted to take more pics but there was a lot of ppl and didn't want to get anyone uncomfortable Also, they have an "Amazonian collection," which it looked good but I was just not that hungry. I'm curious to see reviews from my fellow DMV yelpies. The service was efficient and the server was courteous. Parking, as expected, it's available and I got lucky to get a spot in the parking adjacent to this building.
This is a favorite for my sister and me. I really enjoy their Rosslyn location, so I'm happy I can get my fix closer to home. The servers are very friendly and are happy to answer our questions about the menu. I feel like I've had a decent variety of the menu here, and I'd say you can't miss with anything you choose. Their takes on classic drinks are refreshing and the food is so flavorful. It's right by the Metro, which is convenient but at the same time a little easy to miss, so definitely check it out!
Peruvian restaurant right off the Dunn Loring metro. We came to try happy hour so I didn't try much of the regular menu. Probably my new favorite happy hour spot in the area. The prices are really good. I appreciate how patient the staff was with my friend who had lots of questions about the food. And from the different menu items we tried, I enjoyed it as well as the drinks were very good. Lots of eating inside. Staff was friendly.
Inca Social in Vienna offers modern Peruvian cuisine and Nikkei food in a lively setting. Its interior creates a fun and vibrant atmosphere, boosted by a variety of cocktails. Dishes like ceviche and lomo saltado stand out. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable during my visit. I enjoyed the Chicha Morada, a refreshing drink with a balanced mix of sweetness and tartness, and the Gnocchi Del Pacifico, a savory seafood dish with gnocchi in a delicious cream sauce with a slight tang.
The vibes at Inca Social are unmatched! The ambiance is so fun with the colorful decor and vibrant lighting. Popped in on Thursday which happened to be ladies night! 2.99 margaritas were available and delicious! Ended up getting a variety of appetizers and some happy hour selections. Our favorite was the social bao which consisted of a fluffy bao buns stuffed to the brim with delicious and flavorful pork belly. A close runner up was the inca balls which were crispy, soft and full of meat filling. The sauces that they served up on each plate were also great complements. Literally all of the food we got was seasoned wonderfully and felt like a great value. I'd definitely reccomend the happy hour menu if you're interested in trying a variety of items for a good value. It was also great for sharing! The service was great and our food was brought out relatively quickly! Overall Inca Social is definitely a place to stop by if you're looking to try something new! Between the drinks and the apps this is a great place to socialize!
Excellent food! We were looking for something a little different and this definitely hit the spot. We had the sushi which was not something I was expecting, but it was unique and very tasty. We also enjoyed the empanadas. It is conveniently located next to the Metro which makes it ideal for a quick bite if you are catching the train.
Yum! Everything! It was hard to choose what to order because the whole menu looked good. Went for lunch on a weekday with my husband and parents. Everybody was able to order something they enjoyed and try something new. Also it was my birthday, and the cake was such a nice surprise (and tasty!) Ceviche is one of my favorite choices. Loved it, didn't notice a huge difference in flavor between the 3 in sampler, but was all still delicious. I went to Inca Social in Vienna for brunch with a friend. We had a great time. We ordered the Ceviche Nikkei and it was super tasty. We each had a chicha morada mimosa. The flavored brunch mimosas can be refilled for $1, which is a great deal. I had the Inca breakfast from the brunch menu. The portions were huge. The food was all really good. The server was friendly and prompt. The restaurant ambiance was cute and decorative. Overall, I really liked Inca Social and would definitely come back.
We came here for a group dinner last Wednesday. The restaurant was partly filled around 6pm. It was my first time trying Peruvian food so I was excited. I was not familiar with many of the options on the menu. The staff was very helpful with providing great advice. We started with a round of drinks. The Chicha Rum was delicious. The Latin Ice was bitter and did not have much flavor. The Inca Kolada was very strong and had an interesting mix. The rest of our group decided to stick with beers. For food I decided to try the Peruvian Sushi. I ordered the Acevichado Roll and the Tumi Roll. They were the top favorites on the menu. The presentation for the sushi was awesome. They were very similar but had very distinct tastes. They were packed with fried shrimp and topped with cream cheese and avocado. I ordered two rolls of five pieces each and it was enough to fill me up for dinner. For dessert we ordered the Sweet Sampler. This gave us a variety of items to try instead of ordering one piece of cake. It came with alfajores, churros, tres leches, suspiro, and flan. I love flan and tres leches so those were amazing. It was my first time trying alfajores and churros. They were very sweet and delicious. You can't go wrong with any of the options. Inca Social was a cool place to try. If I am in the mood for Peruvian food I will stop by here again.

What an awesome hidden gem! Right on the corner of Gallows Td and Avenir Pl, about a two min walk from the Dunn Lorring metro stop, this restaurant serves up fresh food and well-mixed drinks at the drop of a hat! Walked in after 530 on a Saturday night, and by 6pm we had both food and drinks. The kitchen was easily pumping out delicious food, and the bartender took about a minute to whip up a delicious, strong but perfectly sweetened caipirinha. We ordered the chicken empanadas and tamal appetizers, and both were delicious. My only complaint would be that I would have preferred a bit more sauce with each dish (but hey, I'm a saucy lady!) The vibe is great, whether you're meeting coworkers for apps and drinks, or you're looking to try out new food with your partner/friends/family. There was way more waitstaff than was needed, which likely reflects how busy they tend to get. We would suggest getting there early as it filled up while we sat and enjoyed the music. Would definitely recommend this place as a must-visit! read more
Got to chance to come here to celebrate my birthday. They have awesome daily specials as well as happy hour Monday-Friday from 3PM-7PM. I ordered their Chicha Rum which was fantastic. Definitely sweet with a hint of cinnamon. We got the Choros A La Chalaca which was my first time having middle with a piercing flair. Love the citrusy, and light flavor. The Peruvian Wings were very good, cooked perfectly with the right amount of crispy and still juicy. The Chicharron was ok, nothing exceptional, just a bit too overly dry for me. The Tostones with Pulled Pork and Ceviche Sampler was something that didn't blow me away. Decent, nothing something I'd order again here. Their desert were fantastic! I loved the Tres leches and Lucuma Flan. Amazing desert done perfectly. read more

Highly recommend Inca, specifically their Vienna location. The staff is super nice and attentive; my friend and I came for HH and were catching up for hours and the bartender was kind enough to give us complementary cocktails! Wasn't expecting that was blown away by the hospitality. On top of that, the food is sooo good. Can't say enough amazing things about the Lomo Saltado huancaina, the perfect bomb of umami goodness that is a Peruvian meets Italian meets Asian flavor. The vibes were alright, not a ton of patrons the day we came but the interior is decorated with Traditional Peruvian elements in mind and was cute. I'll definitely be back. read more

Ambiance is 100 Food was incredible, even my cousin who came to visit from Peru said she would come again. We went for my husbands birthday and we got the ceviche carretillero which was good, it's regular ceviche with fried calamari. I got the sushi Milaflores with a delicious fruit passion sauce. My husband got tallarín a la huancaina and steak? I don't remember the name of the dish but it was sooo good! The tallarines were kinda smoked which was a different taste but still very delicious. My cousin and I both got anticuchos which is cow heart. Which was also very tender and delicious, the only thing I would change is to have sauces added to the anticuchos. I loveeee coming here for happy hour! They have a great selection of drinks for a fair price and their drinks are strong!! They also have daily specials as well. My favorite is the margarita deal for ladies on Thursdays ($2!!!). Their food is also delicious as well. I prefer getting a bunch of appetizers and doing it small plates style over getting a big meal. We also came here for brunch once and their mimosas are a good way to get your weekend started! We have always enjoyed our time at Inca Social and the staff is always friendly and efficient. read more
I don't know what happened or changed since I last visited, but was thoroughly disappointed in the quality of the food here. I ordered the tallarin verde and a maracuya sour. The food tasted bland and lacked zest from the sauce. The meat was also tasteless - how can you mess this up (picture looks great, but unfortunately did not match the taste)?! Pisco sour was also weirdly made where it tasted like something else, maybe vodka? I know what a Pisco Sour tastes like, and that was not it. Service was ok - a bit slow but not the worst. At least our waitress was friendly. Sauces were also so disappointing. The hot sauce seemed to be just spicy with ZERO flavor. Probably won't go back again. read more
Let's get straight to it. Honestly, the best Peruvian food in the locality. The taste is authentic, portions are fantastic, and the flavor is all there. The ambience is amazing. Beautiful interior design with faux trees, plants, great wash LED lighting, and art. No complaints with service. I could see them doing some events hosted within their space if they choose to do so! 5/5, highly recommend. A must try in Northern VA. read more
Was really excited to try this place but was disappointed. Unlike other reviews the service was excellent snd everyone was super nice and the food was served quickly. Both the pork and chicken chicarrones were dry. The Inca balls and arroz con pollo were probably the best dishes. The steak was overdone though I ordered it medium. Inca social is a solid 4. Friends and I shared some appetizers which included the fish ceviche and chicharon. The fish ceviche was excellent but I'm not a fan of the extra fried swine. The drinks specials were good too - I got the piece sour and a margarita. No complaints. For entrees, i got the lomo soltado a la huancaina aka with linguini and also a side of white rice. The lomo soltado was tasty albeit salty. Whole the linguini was also good I don't really know if I would pair the two together. Next time would def stick with the classic lomo soltado. My friends got a pulpo dish (very tasty but not the best I've had) and aji de gallena which I felt was comforting but could use more flavor. read more

I have visited this place about 3x. Each visit/experience was worse and worse. This last time we visited, I took a party of 6 to celebrate a friend's birthday. The place was very loud on a Thursday evening, I didn't realize they had Happy Hour, maybe that was the reason? But based on other reviews, this is the norm. Service is just not it. Staff takes forever to attend to you, and it's like they try to go out of their way to avoid you. I caught our waiter watching TV, chatting with friends, and just disappearing into the kitchen. We stayed at the restaurant longer than usual, which was not ideal. The food was ok. I personally only like their Ceviche, Lomo, and Tres Leches. The steak had no flavor and the seafood dish was not pleasant to eat. Overall, it was an uncomfortable visit/dining experience. 3 stars is being very generous. I give them kudos for their decor and for singing to the birthday girl. read more
INCA Social was an overall great experience! Off the menu, we got to try: - Inca Balls - Tequeños - French Fries - Lucuma Flan - Chocolate Cake - Oringinal Margaritas The Inca Balls were the star of the show. If you are a fan of causa this is the menu item for you. The outside is nice and crispy, and the sauce pairs deliciously. We went for the cheese filling. The tequeños had a nice, warm, gooey filling with a sauce to dip as well. The french fries were standard, nothing to rave about. Another favorite was the Lucuma Flan. The texture of the flan was perfect, super creamy and delicious. The chocolate cake was fine, just a tiny bit dry. The margaritas were amazing and a great deal during their happy hour on thursdays! The service was good. Our waitress was very friendly. No complaints there. The ambiance here is amazing. The decor is beautiful, especially the swing set which is perfect for photos. The music is fun, albeit a little too long at times when trying to have a conversation but its not bad. Overall the vibes of this place are amazing! Definitely coming back soon to try their brunch menu. read more

After spending some time in the mosaic area me and my friends decided to eat here! We didn't realize the kitchen closed at 11:00pm as we had come in after :( They still sat us and the manager I guess came up to us and explained that to us and let us know, but he actually said that he could keep the kitchen open for a little longer to get our orders from a limited selection before they close. He was very very nice and I'm very grateful that he still let us sit down. Excellent service and I'm so happy to live close by. Thank you Inca social! read more

Great place for good food & service:) Today I had the Agudito chicken soup and the flavors are so warm and not to rich. I liked this place. I was however, very annoyed that the waiter kept thanking NOT me despite the fact that I was paying. It felt very discriminatory, it is not like I am using the guy's credit card to pay for the dinner. I worked hard to earn the money, and when I am the one paying and tipping, I like to be the one that gets the thanks and appropriate acknowledgement but not brushed over simply because I am female. If the waiter didn't say anything, it'd have been better, but he kept saying 'thank you sir' and kept looking at him, not me even after I paid! For that reason, I am taking another star down. 1. Food: very good I tried both ceviches, the tuna and tropical (with shrimp) and liked them both. Quite lime forward for my taste. I would've liked it more if it was not as strong. The octopus - amazing. I really liked my dish. The steak - good. Looked more like a kebob. The burger - great and loved the fries! Churros - very hard. I was surprised how hard they were. It was also dunked in too much cinnamon sugar. It will be best if it was more balanced especially considering it is about to be consumed by dipping in the chocolate sauce, so that much cover was not necessary. Biggest problem with this churros was it was hard. I like it when it is soft especially inside. 2. Drinks: good The passion fruit drink was good Chicha rum was good too, feels somewhat like a mojito. Very refreshing for hot weather days like these. 3. Service: slow They are very slow although the place was 20-25% occupied when we arrived. Already mentioned how they thanked the man despite I asked for the check and obviously I gave my card & paid and still came back and thanked the guy not me. Like why?! 4. Reservation: seemed unnecessary considering the occupancy rate. 5. Parking: free retail parking in garage nearby for 2 hours. 6. Ambience: very dark inside the building. I loved it was playing Copa America. Watching football (soccer) and eating is a great way to spend time especially during these Europe Cup and Copa America days. read more

Food came out fast and everything tasted great! The use of Smokey flavors was just right so none of it was bitter. I wasn't expecting mashed potatoes to have a very lemony taste and I felt like many of the drizzles for dishes had strong lemon tastes so just be a little mindful if you do not like zesty food. Only problem was waiter wasn't very attentive and the tables are super close together, the waiters and people got really close to us and it was uncomfortable being so close to many butts as they pass by, while trying to eat. read more

I had been very eager to go and try the food here. I was very disappointed with the food considering how many people have recommended this restaurant to my family & I. I had the papa a la huacaina and their sauce had a really bad after taste, we ordered the lomo saltado and the steak was over cooked and extremely dry. The sushi was the best part of our meal and we'd rate that a 6/10. The service was ok, the server did not come check on refills for our drinks and for a Saturday it wasn't as busy as you'd expect. How noisy is it at lunchtime?
We are not too noisy for lunch. If there is a soccer game or sporting event, that could get more loud.
Can I take my baby and park his stroller at the outdoor space?
I've parked my bike in the outdoor space which isn't the same thing but I think it would be OK.
Are kids allowed to dine inside?
Both times I ate there, I saw families with kids of all ages so I think you'll be just fine. Enjoy!
