Our first time here and we were pleasantly surprised. Indian and Asian food were served. I really wanted to try the samosas but they ran out! At least we tried the garlic naan and it came out nice and hot. We asked what was good on the menu and our waiter suggested the garlic prawn, and it was so good! We wanted to put rice in the little pot in came in to soak up all the left over sauce haha! The butter chicken was creamy and savory. The chow mein was a bit bland. Came to this location for the first time and the ambiance and interior design was pretty neat. We came around 6pm when there was not many people there at all. My table ordered a Hot and Sour soup with chicken, a Veggie Chow Mein, Egg Fried Rice, Orange Chicken, and Chili Chicken. Of those items, I would NOT recommend the orange chicken. You can get much better orange chicken from any other place. It's not comparable to any orange chicken I've had. The fried rice and chow mein were very standard. The chili chicken was the best of the entree items and even then it was decent. I would rate the Hot and Sour soup as a 7 or 8 out of 10. It has a kick and tasted fresh. They have a really big menu, but I was hoping their Chinese entrees were better. They had nice instrumental music in the background and it's comfortable to bring a family. I wasn't a huge fan getting charged a party of 5 gratuity when our 5th "person" was a 2 yr old. This locked in the gratuity at 21%, which I felt was pretty lame and cheap of them to do. This was a fine location--modern and sleek ambiance that feels fancy with dark wood and central bar. The food and prices were also fine. We went for lunch and no one else was there. Service was attentive but not awkwardly so (considering we were the only customers). I appreciated that most things on the menu had vegetarian options, and spice levels were clearly marked on the menu. I really liked the spicy paneer though I probably ate too much of it as an appetizer (not the restaurant's fault that spicy fried cheese is my weakness). The noodle dish was fine. We had a lot leftover (see paneer note), and it was good the next day. I don't understand the bad reviews. This is a chain restaurant and a little generically suburban, but it is not to be avoided. read more

In terms of ambiance, this is a 10. It really is nice inside for it being kind of tucked away off the street. Service was good and they were helpful with suggestions on what to try. What we didn't like is that we were unable to make any adjustments to most of the items we wanted to order. The guy mentioned that some of items are premade which was a little weird so we decided to order something that was not. The crispy potatoes were not my fav but I really e joyed the Kung Pao chicken that I had. It's flavorful and the portion is hearty enough for leftovers. Rice portions are a little small but perfect if you're trying to watch your figure lol. I've been wanting to try out this place for a few years and finally a facebook advertisement and promotional sort of pulled me in. I will note, that at least as of 5/1/25 there are some slight differences between menus between the San Ramon and the newly opened one in Dublin. Due to this promotional, I tried to order the bogo biriyani at Dublin, but it wasn't offered so I had to order and pick up in San Ramon. The place itself was very quiet and clean inside. The guy who grabbed my order seemed to be fairly nice and friendly and even answered my questions about their buffet. The chicken biriyani itself when I got home was very delicious and yummy. Good flavors and hit the right spots when I was eating it. I will admit that their prices are on the more expensive side when compared to your local Indian restaurants and the proportions imo are a tad smaller when compared to them too. But, if you consider it's a franchise then what you pay and get is within reason. All in all, I look forward to maybe trying out their weekend buffet one day in the near or distant future. read more

Food quality was okay. We've been to the other Inchins before, so it was a known in terms of what to expect. The problem was the unethical and unapologetic attitude. They had kept a bottle of water on the table, so we self-served ourselves with water, and along the way, when we asked for more water, they brought two more water bottles. Guess what - the bill had $15 for the water bottles! We didnt want to make a big deal about it, so I just told them that I would pay but it would have been good if they were clear or had given an option for "regular" water. Forget apologizing, he made me feel that I should have known what he meant by "need another bottle of water?". Not returning at this location. read more

We had a pretty decent visit to Inchin's a couple weeks ago. We came on a Saturday afternoon but the restaurant was empty. We were the only dine-in guests which was a little odd in such a large restaurant but not a big deal. There were a couple to-go orders but the restaurant didn't seem to have too much going on. Service throughout our visit was good, but I can understand if the restaurant was busy that service could be slow for other guests. I will say the restaurant is decorated beautifully, it's very well done. It would be a nice location to have a lunch or a family dinner. The food itself wasn't bad, but it also wasn't great. I felt like all the dishes were good, but lacked that "oomph" factor, especially for the price. All the items we ordered were over $15 each, which is not bad but the quality was flavorless. The dishes we liked more than others were the gobi manchurian and chicken lettuce wraps. The Hakka noodles completely lacked any flavor and the sweet & sour chicken was just alright. My favorite dish was probably the mango mousse we got for dessert. Flavorful and made with fresh mangoes. If we visited this restaurant again, we would probably do take out instead of dining in, just because the dishes aren't so intricate that they can't be eaten out of a to-go box. read more

Attitude!!! The most badly behaved hostile waiter/management . We were party of 4 adults and a 5 year old. We had a minimal order. They added a 21% gratuity by default. Upon asking that we have a small kid and does it makes sense to count him , the waiter responded extremely rude. Gratuity is nothing but tip and adding it as mandatory for a party of 4 adults doesn't seem to be fair.i have been to multiple restaurants in Bay Area and beyond and this has never been the case. Great place in terms of ambience, and if you're someone like me who likes indo Chinese food once in a while, a good ambience, and with some cocktails. This is my first typical indo Chinese restaurant visit in 6 years. .and was nostalgic when I saw some menu items like Triple schezwan fried rice, chopsuey. We ordered quite a lot of stuff for a party of 2, which means the quantity is proportional to the price here.. it's a little pricey compared to other regular Indian or Chinese restaurants but it doesn't leave you disappointed when it comes to the quantity. We got chicken 65 which tasted good n nothing outstanding. But triple schezwan fried rice was scrumptious. And quantity could feed 3 people I believe. Had also ordered Spicy Thai basil fried rice which was a bit of a disappointment, since it lacked salt and the spice. We helped ourselves with the variety of sauces placed on the table, but it just didn't get to the point where we enjoyed it. Took it to go and modified it a bit at home. Then the cocktails. Got pineapple and lychee martinis. Pineapple was a good blend where you could feel the alcohol and the flavor. But my fav flavor lychee was so sweet that I couldn't feel the liquor at all. Did I love the flavor that tasted exactly like Lychee maaza juice, Yes definitely. But did I feel like I had a cocktail for its price, No. Got fried ice cream at the end which was definitely yum, crispy and was a perfect way to end the meal. Inchin's is my favorite indo-Chinese place to go to. Sadly they don't have any branches in San Francisco, otherwise I would go there almost every day! This location in san Ramon has a pretty cool ambiance and looks really upscale. I was a little disappointed with the flavors this timE though. Here's everything we got - Burnt Garlic Fried Rice, which was good, could have more flavor. 8/10 - Pan Fried Chili Paneer, quite flavorful, would give it 8/10 - Hakka noodles, pretty bland, not much flavor, but would be nice if you're getting it as a side with spicy items. 4/10 - Chili Garlic Noodles, I enjoyed this, but didn't like the immense amount of cabbage in this 7/10 - Chili Baby corn appetizer, loved this, it's a must order. Would give this a 10/10 - Crispy Chicken Chili Honey, so good, really enjoyed the flavors. 10/10 - Manchurian Paneer, there was absolutely no flavor or salt in this dish, (but we took home the leftovers and added some of our own flavoring so it turned out pretty good) 5/10 Their service is pretty good too but I didn't like that they added 20% gratuity on the total bill even though we were not a large group. After cooking all day for Christmas we decided to try somewhere new. There were a few other patrons in the restaurant so we had the attention of the waiter. He was polite and efficient. Our water cups were kept filled and we did not have to wait for him to finish with other customers before coming to us. The restaurant is very large and could hold a lot of diners. I went here once 4-5 years ago after it opened for a team lunch, I went again Friday for another team lunch. We had a group of 16 or so, yet the food came out pretty fast. We didn't get a lot of drink refills but I'm was quite surprised by the food delivery. We had 6 or so appetizers and maybe 8-10 dishes. it was certainly enough food for the group, but one of the other attendees that had been here before was a master at ordering. My favorite appetizer was this spicy potato, it was pretty much a French fry in this seeet/spicy sauce but it pretty good. The garlic shrimp was good too but that went pretty quick in the group. There a lot of entrees that we tried, lots of different meats and like three different noodles. All were good, but definitely lots of flavor/spice. Not necessarily hot spice, but this would not be a place to take my wife who has a sensitive tongue. Overall a good place for a group lunch. read more

Based on my experience so far I would stick to the indo-chinese dishes. Manchow soup - brought back so many memories from childhood. So ginger-garlicky, and bold. This soup is unlike any other. Plus, as big and as nice as it is, absolutely no vibe with only 4 other diners. My Mom and I got: Chicken Lettuce Wraps [HH $5, 3.5 stars] as well as Black Bean Chicken [$15, 2.5 stars], with a side of white rice. Very little chicken, and not very much at that. For the Black Bean Chicken, mostly vegetables and a whole lot of sauce. * It's not inexpensive, and the food portions are very small * Mild Indian flavors, needed a great amount of salt and/or hot sauces Our experience: All was meh. I've visited the this place a few times now with my family and co-workers. In every occasion, we tried different dishes and have been very satisfied with the food. They are generous with their portions. I love how the Indian spices enhance the flavor of the Chinese dishes. Thee aren't too many of these type of restaurants. I'm glad that there's one close to home. My favorite dishes are the Paneer appetizer. I can't remember the name, but it has a bit of sweet and sour flavor. I also like their paratha and Curry dip. The dip has a hint of spiciness in it. I like how they have an abundance of vegetarian options. And each dish comes with a rich full flavor. And you get the option to go not spicy, mild, medium, or spicy. They also offer white and brown rice or a side of steamed noodles. I have a very mixed review about this place. ordered from here twice - dine in followed by delivery. Dine in - was a wonderful experience. Ordered Panner 65, Chinese bhel , Masala cola. Tried their 4 different sauce (placed on the table) - sweet sauce, green, garlic , chilly. Loved the sweet sauce, you can also buy the same If you want. Everything was perfect - be it taste, portion. Only drawback was service but that's understandable because of the mad rush on Friday. As I already mentioned I really liked the food so I placed an order again on Sunday (same week). But this time the experience was way too different. Ordered Paneer 65, street style chow mein. I did not like any thing this time. Paneer was not fresh at all taste was also different and portion size was less too. Street style Chowmien had no taste at all. So overall a bad experience. For quality Chinese food, consistency needs to be there in taste may be their kitchen team was not in good mood. Overall, will definitely try to pay a visit to this place again to review further. I don't know why I give this restaurant so many chances. Probably because there is no other info-Chinese restaurant in the area. Every time, consistently, the noodles have tasted horrible. Sometimes there is no salt, sometimes the noodles are over boiled and at times there are no veggies in the plate-- just bland noodles. Though I'm a big fan of Indo Chinese, I fear I cannot recommend this place. The food is average, the portion sizes small, and the price higher than average. I don't mind paying more, but the service is not that great either. I took freshly made takeaway from them for dinner, and within 2-3 hours, when I was serving, the noodles had spoilt and had a pungent smell. I called them up at the time, and asked for a refund. They asked me to come in and speak with the manager, who did extend the refund but was surly. The 2 stars is for the fact that they did refund for the spoilt item and the ambience which is pretty nice. Other than this, highly suggest you give this place a miss. read more

We used to go to Inchin's when there was none in East Bay and now we have two locations. Fremont and San Ramon. Tried this location, San Ramon, for the first time last night and it wasn't disappointing but it could be a lot better food taste and quality wise. Chicken fried rice did not have any salt! Kung pau chicken was undercooked and had a weird smell, figured we had to cook it further to blend all the sauces.. so that was a bummer! Drums of heaven was salty!!
