    My to-go ground chicken kabob

So good! Go try! Looking forward to trying more! We ordered ground chicken kabob with rice to go. Service was professional. Inside looks like cozy mom/pop type of family restaurant. Not sure if there is a restroom.

The place was a Mom and Pop, no Mom in sight, just 1 guy running the everything... cooking, ordering, serving, busing, etc.. he seems to handle the volume. Mostly take out, but they have a dinning room with 6 tables. The place is clean, not to much clutter in the non dinning space. Usually with Mom and Pops they have tons of personal clutter everywhere, this place does a good job keeping it to a minimal. I ordered: Triple Kabob - Chicken Kabob, Koobideh and Beef Chapli (4 Star $25) All 3 kabobs were awesome! Good quality, perfectly cooked. The Chapli was crisp on the outside soft in the inside. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The Koobideh was seasoned well and tender. Loved the 2 sauce they served, the green sauce and the red sauce. The red was a little spicy, but not too much. The bread was fresh, good chew, but not too hard. Good stuff! Until next time...

Was looking for a place nearby after an appt for lunch. We hopped on Yelp and stumbled upon KKG. We ordered the following: Borani banjan (aka eggplant) - ***** Sauteed and baked eggplant topped with garlic yogurt and sprinkled dried mint. I'm not vegetarian but I enjoyed this dish a lot. We ate it with the bread. Triple combo of chapali beef, koobidieh, and chicken w/rice + salad - *****, the chapali beef was my fave. The food here is very flavorful and the portions are generous. Bring an extra stomach or friend to help. Everything was tasty and service was adequate. It's a mom + pop restaurant and so bring your patience. Overall, if I'm in the area, then I'll be back for more.

Water downed dry chicken no flavor

I ordered via DoorDash. I liked how they wrapped my food securely to go and made me feel safe and comfortable eating it. But first thing I noticed is they added water to the chicken qorma .. it had zero flavor .. maybe didn't make any fresh and used what they had and added water to make more qorma which was disappointing since I was craving it all day. Also the qorma looks nothing like the pic, the sauce isn't red, it's a brown sauce. I also was expecting white rice challow with it but it was brown rice. The mantu was lacking flavor and smelled funny. The bread is really good. Overall wouldn't order again sorry. Btw this was Sunday via DoorDash. I spent $50 to throw away old food.

My mom and I decided to try Kabul. They seem to do a lot of DoorDash and take out orders, but we decided to dine in! We both got kabob plates and the Bolani appetizer, which is one of our favorites. The Bolani appetizer was HUGE!!!! It could feed a family of six and it was just us two, so I'm sure you could imagine how much leftovers we had to take home! I got the steak kabob and my mom got the chicken kabob. It comes with salad and rice and they also serve bread before your entrees. The ladies who cook the food are very talented. It takes awhile for the food to come out because they make everything fresh & from scratch! The ambiance is quiet and is very family oriented. There was a lot of families eating there while we were there. Overall, the food was absolutely delicious and I would definitely go back or try to order take-out!

This is a mom and pop restaurant. They are very busy and don't have enough servers to manage diners but do the best with the limited staff. I'm going to leave a great review because the food was good and service was notable. The prices are decent and portion is large enough for one person plus leftovers. This location is close to the highway and convenient to reach. I came with my aunt an hour before closing and still received good service. Nice place to try.

A lil gem we just discovered!!! Beef mantoo was really good. Very tender and generous portion. Chapli kabob and kobedah was really good as well. We weren't a fun of beef tekka but everything else was really delicious. Our server was very polite and friendly. Small but cute and clean!! Plus it's family owned and we love to support small businesses. We'll definitely be back!!

The food here is a must try if you're in the area. I paid $10 for enough food to feed two adults. It was all delicious. Service was quick and very friendly. The food was ready in less than 15 minutes. I will definitely try to be back for more.

Finally got to try this place since I've been meaning to for the longest time. First off, don't be too worried about no one sitting indoors. Not sure if it's due to lack of seating, but otherwise, they have quite a few takeout orders. I ordered the chicken and beef kabob combo while my boyfriend ordered the Chapli combo. The salad that came with it is pretty good compared to most Mediterranean/Afghan/Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to. Slightly tart but not just pure tart. The dressing has some form of cream or yogurt base to it. For the meats, the chicken and beef were both seasoned well and flavorful through and through. The beef maybe slightly overdone but it's really not bad at all. The chicken was also cooked well. They give you a fair amount of seasoned rice which I always look forward to. Seasoned basmati rice is my fave. The only thing I wish they had on the takeout menu was a dessert section. I don't know if it's on the dine in menu but there's photos of their menu with Baklava on it. But the takeout menu didn't have any form of dessert to it. That said, I would definitely come here again. The price is extremely good for what it is compared to some of the pricier locations.

Flavor was all over the place -- a couple pieces had no salt at all, while others were way too salty. And the spicyness wasnt(aka chilli flakes) in the potato mixture wasnt spread well either. I got the triple kabob plate and the rice portion was surprisingly small compared to other Afghan spots. Chicken kabobs were inconsistent: some pieces were super salty, others were fine. The beef was tender, but not every bite had the same flavor. Chicken was tender though, cut well. Could have been flavored a bit more Plates overall felt smaller than what I'm used to at similar restaurants. Also worth mentioning -- they serve alcohol here, so if you're strict about halal, that might be a consideration. Since a place selling wine- not sure how strict they are on sourcing halal meat (hand slaughter for example). Also very pricey location compared to others maybe since they serve wine they catering to folks that drink who may spend more without caring All in all, not terrible, but definitely inconsistent and portion sizes could be better. Worth mentioning that all these de afghanans are not same - they have diff owners etc. Not bad seating, was empty for a sunday lunch at noon .

Then another family of five, who also appeared to be the same race as the owner, came in about 10-15 minutes after us and received their food well before we did. I don't know why our order kept getting pushed behind everyone else's, and I can't say that race was the reason. I can only describe what I personally observed. Being passed over while multiple parties who arrived later were served first made us feel overlooked and unwelcome. We waiting about 30 mins for one plate of food that my son and I shared. The service left a very negative impression, and I won't be returning.

Not a simple order by any stretch. Getting the owner (?) on the phone to place the order took some persistence, but once we connected, she was fantastic. She helped us figure out quantities, steered us toward the right dishes for the vegetarians and the kids, and was upfront about what contained nuts. She even threw in extras (salad and dessert) to complete the meal. I felt like she treated us like family. Pricing was very reasonable, everything arrived on time -- delivered by her uncle, no less -- and there was so much food that every guest went home with a takeout container -- the true mark of a successful spread. My husband was considerably less thrilled that I didn't save any of the meat dishes for home (he still laments it every time we talk about this awesome catering experience to others).
