We did not eat here. Sign said lunch buffet and gave hours we went to try buffet to see what we might like as we had never eaten Indian. Looked at menus which said they had lunch buffet but were told buffet was only on Friday and Saturday. Checked menu for lunch specials as meals were dinner priced. The food was delicious and well spiced without being too spicy, although they asked if we wanted our food mild, medium or spicy. We got the paneer tikka masala and the chicken vindaloo as well as the vegetable samosas and everything was tasty. The service was prompt and friendly. read more

I've edited my review from a 5 to a 3. I went back tonight. Saturday night Feb 13th. Boy was that a mistake. Yes they were busy, no the wait wasn't very long. 20 min. However once seated we were forgotten about. 2 people and it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get out of there. People that had came in way way after us were eating and leaving before our food even came out!! No joke!! The naan bread came out 10 - 15 minutes after the actual food came out. Yes the food was good but it was a disappointing evening. The guy that stood out the most was the bus boy , since I had so much time to watch him he was doing it all from seating (hostess) to serving the food and drinks and to go orders and cleaning glasses and silverware. He kept the ship afloat. LITERALLY! He was fantastic. He was better than our server. He asked to refill my soda like 10 times because he saw we had no food! They clearly lean on him for everything. My opinion is they are understaffed on a busy night which leads to terrible service. I had the tandoori chicken. I ordered it around 6:50pm. At 7:32pm, I was starting to worry that my food server forgot to put the food order in. At 7:35pm a table of 6 was seated next to us. At 7:50pm we received our food. And then 2 minutes later that table of 6 got there food as well.. really?? We waited 1 hour for food and this table waited less than 15 minutes??? NOT GOOD. yes as soon as I realized we were being ignored I started timing things because I also work in the food industry. Granted it was a Saturday night but it is off season for Branson so I can't imagine what happens during busy season. The food is good but my suggestion is don't go there at dinner time on a Saturday. Stick to off peak hours and they can do a good job. I'm upset we paid so much for food and we're ignored. Our waiter apparently didn't care about a table of two at all. He walked by us one hundred times and ignored us. He had to see we had no food and still did and said nothing. Still mad over this so I don't know if we will go back, they have good Indian food in Springfield and I'll go there next and give this place a long break. I don't like when places take too many tables to correctly handle them. The first time I came here I was over the moon in love. Now I dread another meal here. So that means you are inconsistent and you have problems when your busy. To make matters worse we kept getting glares and dirty looks from people that were standing at the front door waiting for a table. They clearly thought we were there too long with an empty table. But they didn't realize we hadn't even been served yet!! It was uncomfortable the entire evening. read more

We went there this past month on vacation. Good northern Indian food. Location is hard to find, but well worth your hunt for it as a hole in the wall at a strip mall. Not as pricy as most of the restaurants in the Branson area, especially if you go there for the lunch buffet. read more

I don't even know where to begin, everything was amazing! It started with samosas with wonderful yummy sauces and fried cheese for my daughter which she loved. Our table got chicken Tikka Masala, New Delhi chicken, paneer tikka masala and the most amazing cauliflower dish that I've ever had, but I have no idea what it's called. When you find yourself in Branson, this place is a must! The owners granddaughter is about 5 months and the most adorable baby, my daughter loved her, as did we. We have had Indian cuisine in restaurants from London to Munich to San Diego and this one is at the top tier of our lists. When we come to o Branson to just unwind we eat here as its authentic and the spice level is always as requested. We really weren't impressed. To be fair we spent 6 years in India and our standard is higher than your average person, but the food was far from authentic and actually wasn't even good. The quality of the ingredients was no issue. You could tell they used fresh food, and high quality meat, but the flavor was not very good. The chef is Punjabi, so I made sure to order Punjabi food. But what I got was something else. Not sure why. Maybe he's decided that Americans don't really like real Indian food, but you can't beat real Punjabi cuisine! read more

A pleasant surprise! Clean, quaint and warm. Service was excellent and very attentive. They were very helpful on selecting menu items. First time my wife had Indian food and she really liked it. She ordered one of the more popular chicken dishes I ordered a lamb dish. Mine was suppose to be mildly spicy but was quite hot in a good way. I would make sure if you don't like spicy hot you ask them what dishes fit or have them tone the spices down. Food was served fresh and hot. The spinach bread we selected was unique and very tasty. We had their rice pudding and a sweet cheese dumpling for desert. The rice pudding was outstanding. The cheese dish was interesting and tasty, just different.
