Best Indian restaurant in Tulsa (has been for decades), and my favorite place for Saag Paneer in the world! I'm not exaggerating...I don't live in Tulsa anymore, but have my sister (who still lives there) bring it to me. And I never order it anywhere else because every other place disappoints. This is the best Indian restaurant in Tulsa. Food is always consistent and delicious. We ordered the Chicken Korma, Lamb Saag, and Lamb Naan. All orders come with a big plate of fluffy basmati rice. Their gravy for their dish is flavorful and not too salty. Their Saag is extremely creamy and has a sweet flavor to it. We've also ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and the okra dish in the past and it's a huge hit. The dishes aren't spicy, they are suited to a western palete, however, you can order it as spicy as you want. I haven't tried to add extra spice, I meant to last night but I totally forgot. This is a very poor example of Indian cuisine, like so many attempts at non-Western food in Tulsa. We order the Rogan Josh with garlic Naan. The lamb gravy was unnaturally bright reddish pink and not the deep red of a good curry sauce. The garlic Naan also had an unnatural color to it, but in this case, a nuclear yellow. By color alone, the food was unappetizing. The taste was also lacking, with any flavor or spice either watered down or simply not present. The vegetable samosas looked decently enough, but the filling was a very bland mush. Avoid this restaurant if you are looking for flavorful Indian food. We had to leave ours to the dogs. read more

Though we aren't vegetarians, we were told Mrs Singh is, so this restaurant takes care to honor people's choice to go meatless which I can appreciate. This spot was one of my favorite places to eat until the staff stole my hat when I left it by accident. I called to check to see if I had left it there and the waiter said they had found it and would keep it safe until I returned for it. When I went to pick it up the next day the manager on duty said that they didn't know what happened to it? I told him that they had said it was there. But apparently it disappeared. This place is awful. It should be closed down. They strongly discriminate against women. Unless your with a man don't bother going there. They made us wait over an hour for a Togo order as we watched table after table get served (none of the other tables where just women). Other tables where probably at most Waiting 15-20 min. We asked to speak to manager and he would not come out. We ended up getting a refund and never got our food. It's sad to see that in that In this day in age that this still happens. i refuse to support business like this and so should you. read more

I went here with my son and husband. They both said it deserved a 3*, I was leaning towards a 2* myself. The sauces did seem watered down, but what was worst to me was the chicken that was in the sauce...not quality at all! It's what I would call surprise chicken pieces, lots of fat and honestly just not appetizing to look at. I'm from Colorado, so maybe in Tulsa this is great Indian food, but if this restaurant was in Colorado it wouldn't last long. I've been eating here since the 90s and the reviews are true... It is the best Indian food in Tulsa. I usually go for the lunch buffet-which is hot, fresh, and flavorful, but have also catered family events (particularly my birthday), and takeout on many a cold, rainy Tulsa night. I love their meatballs, any of their soups, and their vegetable curries. I still believe that their Vegetable Korma (along with copious antibiotics) carried me through a bout of pneumonia a few years back. One word! ROACHES Just went there for lunch today. 9/4/19. Went for the buffet and stacked my plate with food. Sat at my table and picked up my naan to put it on the small plate. A cockroach fell out of my naan onto the table!!! Ran across the table and gone. It wasn't a small one either! We immediately called the waiter over and told him what happened and we were leaving. We can't say enough good things about our experience tonight. We had a family birthday party planned and so although over half of our party had never had Indian food- we were willing to try it to please the birthday boy! Anyway, we got there (we have 2 small kids under 5yo) and got seated immediately. (Pardon my lack of terminology knowledge) but the lentil crackers and 'dips' were an awesome start... we ordered a few different things to share (Beef Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Kabobs) and they were all amazing. We also loved all the other food that other family members ordered and we sampled but not sure what everything was called. Our 2 year old ate 3 plates of food (I'm not sure he's ever eaten so well!) The service was outstanding- we couldn't possibly have been better taken care of as a group. We are already joking about meeting back there for lunch tomorrow... so glad we found this place! Try it, you won't be disappointed! Oh and also- I have a shellfish allergy so I was really nervous trying a cuisine I know so little about (particularly when I knew they have shellfish on the menu) but they were so patient with me and my questions and clearly careful because I didn't have any reaction!! Hmmmmmmm. Oh my... Awesome. Had an slider the Chicken kepa , I think it is, first on the menu and then the lamb kebab, just awesome. Service is great, you can't be wrong here. Oh my goodness, where to start? We came here on a Friday night, the restaurant was pretty full but we were seated immediately. The popadoms they served before the meal were lovely, and came with delicious dipping sauces! I started off with the black opal Chardonnay which was very enjoyable, and we got the vegetable bhaji's for an appetiser. They were delicious! I ordered the chicken korma, and my boyfriend ordered the beef korma with garlic naan bread. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and came with a generous serving of rice to share. The owner / manager Guldeep is always very welcoming and friendly, and he's been there since I can remember. The Yelp reviews for India Palace steered us here. While we waited for a table we learned that they've been here since 1974... Wow! Now we know why- they've been around for so long because they're doing Indian food right. We ordered baigan bhurta (eggplant), saag paneer, and chicken biryani. They also brought yogurt raita, always a nice addition to the meal. The plain naan was perfect. So was the chai. Everything here tonight was very good. I love this place! Also good to know... if anyone in your party is having a birthday be sure to mention it to your waiter. We had an ice cream with mango sauce & gulab jamuns on the plate, complete with a candle and birthday song. Excellent service on a Friday night made this experience one to remember. read more
